    I’ll second that. I haven’t missed an episode of Ice Road Truckers since the show first debuted. Sure …. some of the drama between rival trucking companies can get tedious and I suspect that some of the dangerous situations are exaggerated somewhat but I find it to be damned entertaining. Darrell Ward will be missed.

    You think? It’s scripted just like every other “reality” show. But it is entertaining.

13. @nold: No need to apologize. George Michael was a talented singer/performer. So was Ricky Martin and Elton John….
    What bothers me, and I think many others, is the media’s attempt to make him so over the top wonderful. I give him his just dues as a singer/performer and leave it at that.

Yes, he was a talented singer and performer of music that I didn’t care for so I, too found it tiresome that the infotainment industry and people who did like listening to him seem to need/want everyone to concur that he was a Great Person. Few ever met the fellow, we all go eventually, and he got fame and fortune from the exercise of his natural talent. If he didn’t make a happy life from that it’s his own shortcoming and nobody else’s business.
