I wouldn’t go so far as to say the MSM is irrelevant. But they are on a rapidly declining trajectory. They need to be more professional and less politically correct.
It will be interesting how trump deals with the White House press corps – and who appoints as press secretary will tell a lot about which way that will be.

Seriously, the press secretary should be someone so unimportant, a person who truly knows nothing and likes it that way. And every time the NPAPSS ask a question, the non-answer will trigger them. Narrative Pushing And Protecting Schutzstaffel. My personal acronym for them. Press secretary who simply gives a random quote from an 80s TV show regardless of the question. Let the press know their importance. Let them experience the breeze they sowed; GOOD AND HARD.
