  1. Mistakes were made, but it serves no one to point fingers and try to assign blame. It’s time to put this behind us and move forward.

  2. It appears that free-weights crushing wind pipes cause tsunamis rather than ripples.

  3. As she would say herself “Whar difference does it make now?”
If you are billiary none. We are so screwed.

  4. Dear My,
Where was the snarc? Ok American voting public can we please at least say that her FBE proven incompetence with classified information disqualifies her for the office she seeks?

  5. The FBI has shown that it is a political police organization with no interest in protecting uS citizens. Quite apart from the present farce, it seems that every terrorist attack in the US has been by people known to the FBI. I used to ascribe this to incompetence, until I realized that it just is not their job.

  6. Now all that’s left is the Hail Mary pass that’s Donald Trump, running against an unindicted felon with the full weight of the loony Left side of the country, the MSM, and apparently half of his own party against him.
While I still have hope, when I look at the big picture it appears disturbingly like the America I knew is hanging by its fingernails over a cliff. Perhaps Trump can overcome and stave off the collapse for eight more years, but the gaping maw of globalist left-wing lunacy will still be waiting.
Oh well, the USA – it was the best country in the world, while it lasted.

  7. Best line ever over at zerohedge. “Comey just shoved a banana up our Republic.”

  8. Welcome to the New Leftist States of America. A bizzarro country where lifetime welfare recipients are in bed with multimillionaire corporate and political globalists who both exploit the common working man. We. are. doomed. if. we. get. 4. more. years. of. Obama.

  9. First the son of a former president, and now soon to be the criminally corrupt wife of a former president, both elected to the office within one generation.
The American Republic is dead. Ronald Reagan was its last president. Ever since then the people have demanded nothing more than bread, circuses, and some new kind of ‘royalty’ to rule them. Don’t bother them with that ‘rule of law’ stuff, it’s so boooorrrring.

  10. More precisely, Comey couldn’t prove in law she meant to commit an illegal act. It was a high legal hurdle from the start folks in spite of what Judge Judy et al thought. Dangerous judgment, dishonest, incompetent, cavalier, sociopathic, malevolent? Yes, all those things, but not illegal. I accept that. It won’t change any minds about her judgment and temperament to be trusted as POTUS.
This beckons back to Paul Martin and the Liberals, when they weren’t celebrating a can of Gomery whoop ass, crowed “we’ve been exonerated,” all the way down to defeat because the public didn’t agree with them on Adscam. Here’s hoping Hillary makes the same mistake.
Now she and Barack can fly together in Air Force I, apparently the Dem party having to pay a minor per diem to campaign at taxpayers’ expense. The fix really is in, they knew it from the start and played everyone, comme d’habitude.
BTW, this is not over, not even close. The State IG has handed the Trump team all they need. The Dems’ blind spot on terrorism (I know they were Muslim but they’re not really Muslim) will haunt them with every new attack. How they can pivot to gun control on one attack of many will be fun to watch.
The Clinton Foundation shady dealing will come front and centre. At the end of it all, will enough Americans trust this deeply flawed individual, brazen in her disregard for the public, reeking of crony establishment?
We’re not even to Convention and VP selections. Then there’s the debates; will Hillary suddenly fall in, twice, just before debates? Surely the Crowley media won’t be able to hold Trump back in a one on one with Hillary. If so, how deep is the rot in the American political culture?

  11. She and John Corzine can get together and share a good laugh.
Trump should make a point of promising to clean up the FBI

  12. Surely there will be some elements within the FBI that still have integrity and will leak details like a faucet.
Well it was a nice thought for about 10 seconds LOL

  13. My wife worked as a contractor for a US military firm. She was told that if she even wandered, by accident, into a wrong wing of the building without authorization, she would be handcuffed and sent to Leavenworth within the hour. So INTENT is not required in situations of national security and incorrect action was more than proven in Hillary’s case. Comey is using the ignorance of the statute and misquoting the law to let Hillary go which means he was either bribed or threatened.

  14. This is all for the GREATER GOOD B.S. But officer I didn’t mean to do it and I know the Judge. intent or not she broke the law. this stinks of corruption

  15. So I guess that chap in Orlando shot all those people at the club, but didn’t mean to? He was a Muslim and claimed allegiance to ISIS, but that wasn’t his intent?

  16. Maybe intent is not required; that is debatable in my nonlawyer opinion. Even so, it’s pretty important in proving a criminal case. Comey tore here a good one, stating there wasn’t “clear” evidence of criminal intent.
He implied it however by tearing into Clinton and her staff’s extreme carelessness, no doubt bordering on criminal.
A career criminal like Hillary is not going to cross the line of proof. She skated this time but imho judgment awaits. Comey probably decided that while he had the evidence to indict, he didn’t think he had the evidence to convict. That’s his call; we can go from there. Additionally he was more transparent than usual, and outlined a serious case for serial incompetence and mendacity.
Does that level of administrative sociopothy have any bearing for suitability as POTUS. Yes, it does. Nobody reasonably thought there would be an indictment, many wished it, so whatever; another arrow in the Trump quiver – an adverse FBI report though not quite criminal.

  17. Newsflash:
Seismic activity has been reported in various locations throughout the United States. Geologists have determined the epicentres are located close to where several of the Founding Fathers are interred. It is believed that the activity was caused by those same Founding Fathers rolling in their graves.

  18. So was this agreed upon by Bill Clinton and Attorney General Loretta Lynch at their meeting last week?

  19. If Trump wins he seriously needs to Appoint a special prosecutor with an independent investigative staff and start putting some of these crooks in jail. It doesn’t seem to bother those in high office that the complete justice system of the US has been subverted for political gain.

  20. I saw a picture on another website the other day. It had portraits of Richard Nixon and Hillary Clinton.
For Nixon, the caption read: “Missing 18 minutes of recorded conversation. Resigned as president.”
Clinton: “Deleted thousands of e-mails. Allowed to run for president.”
I supposed a variation on that could be:
Nixon: “‘I am not a crook.’ Resigned as president.”
Clinton: “‘I am not a crook.’ Allowed to run for president.”

  21. She was never going to be charged after Trump’s success. The Washington insiders see her as their only salvation.

  22. This simply confirms that we are now in a world where our elites are not subject to the same laws as we common folk. One mustn’t offend the dignity of Her Majesty with something as tawdry as a criminal indictment.

  23. @Shamrock – Intent is not required when it comes to matters of national security. Gross negligence is spelled out in the statutes Hitlery violated. Mark Levin has been railing about this point for months on his radio program.
Also, see former AG of the US Michael Mukasey comments below on this matter:
“Going further, if it’s information that relates to national defense, whether she acted with gross negligence is not a defense. In fact, that’s the standard under the law. That’s a felony.”
    http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/275870-former-ag-on-clinton-emails-gross-negligence-is-not-a

  24. The vast majority of the offenses that people are convicted of daily do not require mens rea. Prosecutors love these laws because the burden of evidence required for conviction is lower. To most common example is traffic tickets. While they probably convict a million Americans daily of committing offenses without intent, you can’t do that to Queen Hillary.

  25. As far as the Clinton Foundation investigation, Comey added: “Even though we found that the Clintons engaged in racketeering including money laundering, fraud, obstruction of justice, embezzlement, and bribery, as well as illegally accepting foreign donations in exchange for political favors, the FBI is not recommending charges because it doesn’t appear they meant to.”

  26. I saw this coming when I found out that Comey and Democrat hack Patrick Fitzgerald were buddies. I bet Lynch met with Bill Clinton the other day so she could give him the good news in person.

  27. Let’s not play games about intent, ok?
Clinton was Secretary of State for 4 years and she never saw a classified or secret communication in nearly half a decade?
The CIA operates out of every U.S. embassy and mission in the world and Clinton never sees a communication with a classified heading.
    Ponder that.
She doesn’t say, “Where are all the classified communiques that are a stock part of be Secretary of State?”
How much of a gull do you have to be to buy into that?
She was First Lady for 8 years! She knows how security works.

  28. “Comey couldn’t prove in law she meant to commit an illegal act.”
    DOESN’T MATTER.
Intent is NOT required to establish negligence (how can someone intend to be negligent?).
She allowed classified material to be transited through a private e-mail server that she owned. That constitutes negligence, pure and simple, and it is STILL a felony, regardless of “intent”.

  29. WHY would the Sec. of State REFUSE to use the FREE, SECURE, government email server for ALL her communications ? Yes, even for checking her wedding plans, yoga schedule, and recipes (as if she has so much as boiled water in the last 40 years). The answer is simple and obvious to anyone with functioning brain cells … to HIDE. To HIDE her true thoughts. The inner workings of her Gestapo-like political cabal. To EVADE FOIA. The very same FOIA created by leftists to expose Nixonesque government officials. Hitlery makes Tricky Dick look like amateur hour.
The VERY CREATION of her PRIVATE server while employed by the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is cause for disqualification from ANY public office. Period.
Of course we cannot rely on our Federal Government to uphold the LAW. We the People need to do it for ourselves. At the ballot box. … at least those ballot boxes that are not stuffed with illegal votes

  30. “She didn’t mean to” has entered into meme territory along side “what difference dies it make”.
Clearly, the rule of law is meaningless in the USA, so for American citizens, what is the next play? Being sheep on a spit.

  31. I agree with you but it doesn’t help. Still, there’s lots to nail her with. Trump’s the only man for that job. Hoping for an easy Cruz or Trump run after a Hillary indictment didn’t pan out. Time to move on to the next chapter: defining the criminal narrative that is Hillary and Bill Clinton.
Obama’s incompetence will come in handy too, as he and Hillary depart on their magical taxpayer funded jet spree on AF1; just to show her around.
For some reason Harper failed to do that very thing, to show his opponents for the schoolboys they really were. Now Trump will show Hillary for the incompetent, judgmentally challenged liar she is. Criminal Hillary will stick with public; wait and see.
The fact is she got away with it, again; but, especially now in light of the Bubba/Lynch meeting, this thing looks even stinkier than before. Let CNN cheerlead. Hillary can’t grow, but Trump can, especially amongst independents.
We’re supposed to believe she has the chops to be president but we can’t consider her email conduct, pay for play and Benghazi double talk in that mix, because she was “exonerated.” Not going to happen by a long stretch. Meanwhile, somewhere there is a “sexual assault investigation” against Donald Trump plus there’s his university, notwithstanding the Clinton Foundation did its own university bilking while Bubba tried to nail anyone with a heartbeat.
Winning over Hispanic and generally women will be his greatest challenge and Hillary will be his greatest tool. I’ll bet Vladmir has all her emails.
With all the chest beating around a force to Latvia, which Hillary no doubt supports and Donald likely doesn’t, isn’t this an opportune time for Putin to leak her entire cache, which I’m sure his intelligence agencies were sure to properly archive?
Because, as Petraeus did, she did not actually hand over classified information to an uncleared person, she just put it out there for the world to see, which they did. Hence, as Oz said, she’s the most transparent politician in history. I’m disappointed the FBI didn’t investigate further on that.
No doubt federal intelligence agencies everywhere assumed it was all compromised. How that is not a criminal offence bemuses me, to wit her reckless endangered of vital state secrets. I sincerely hope Comey and FBI haven’t been pulled in the technoklepto political wing.
The truly ironic part is Hillary stands more of a chance of getting us killed than the Donald, yet the public doesn’t think he has the parts on international relations and temperament.

  32. Yes; you write this sort of legislation to make it possible to prosecute those who have endangered national security, so their exists an incentive to be careful.
AS Andrew McCarthy said, Comey ignored the statute.
Come is now #CrookedJimmy. Screw the fact he was appointed by Bushie, a Republican; this shows there are no Republicsns or Democrats, just the rulers and the ruled. Now Comey can go collect his reward, a “job” in a private law firm that any first year law grad to do, but for which Comey will be paid tens of millions.

  33. very, very odd…Comey admits in the press conference that Clinton broke the law. He based prosecution on intent (when clearly, the law reads that intent is not at issue). So, instead of recommending prosecution and allowing the DOJ to stonewall (example: State Dept just announced last week they wouldn’t release emails for 27 months)…leading to a court case which wouldn’t be decided for years…he lays it all out front in confirmation of illegality, carelessness etc…
Very odd indeed. I don’t think this is going to have the “sweeping under the rug” strategy that the Democrat party and Clinton think it will.

  34. The one thing that surprised me about this is how brazen they were about the whole thing. Usually, they either sweep the whole thing under the rug or they at least find some patsy or rube to take the fall and pretend that the rule of law still applies.
This time, not only is there no patsy, the FBI held a press conference to tell us that: the standard of the law is gross negligence, intent doesn’t matter; the Clinton people were grossly negligent in the following 50 ways; we aren’t prosecuting anyone cause there was no intent – yeah, we know what we just said; and, by the way, we are definitely prosecuting anyone does this exact same thing in the future.

  35. Hillary, Bill and Chelsea all better watch out they don’t have weight lifting accidents at the Foundation’s gym while discussing golf and grandchildren.

  36. “In a surprising statement which concluded moments ago, FBI director James Comey announced that Federal officials have decided not to pursue federal charges against Hillary Clinton for her private email setup, an announcement that will send a shockwave throughout national politics.”
I’d like to meet the “shocked” people in America who actually DID believe that Hillary Clinton would be indicted. (I have these shares in a gold mine, can’t miss, $10 today,in a year probably $100 or more, 20 million shares available.)
I am saddened by the number of so-called intellectuals who are desperately devoted to the belief that the American justice system is not corrupted completely by the current Administration. That includes the whole bunch at NRO.
Calling America a “banana Republic” is an insult to banana Republics. It’s closer to Stalinist Russia, though the new Prez, Hillary is closer to Beria than Stalin.

  37. I don’t see Vlad leaking Hill’s emails. Why would he help Trump win? The best possible outcome for him would be a President Hillary, who he will then own.

  38. You forgot yoga routines. Yoga is my favourite one, because the mental images of Hillary do yoga are the funniest.

  39. The theory is being floated out that Comey chose this time to have the press conference as it would be seen that Hillary skating, just as Obama joins her for campaigning, and following on the heels of Lynch’s gross indiscretions, would have maximum negative impact, given that no matter what he was told to send to the DoJ, he wasn’t going to be able to recommend an indictment. Why else would a career bureaucrat so torpedo his career otherwise?

  40. Yes. The world was watching and now the world knows, unequivocally, that the U.S. cannot trusted to be lawful.
