  1. I don’t normally subscribe to apocalyptic scenarios, but I’m increasingly coming to believe that the US is heading for a civil war. A real one, with shooting and deaths. The parallels between the US and the end of the Roman Republic are too stark.

  2. Like hello folks! Riots and demonstrations were not invented by Donald Trump. Has everyone forgotten the NHL game between Montreal and Boston when ”The Rocket”was playing?? So now it’s ”The Donald.” Montreal, March 17-1955 on St. Patrick’s day. Now that was a riot!

  3. Plainsfyer – The one in Vancouver a few years back was just plain lawlessness. The MSM is fueling this stupidity. It matters not, because if this occurred against the Dems, Obama would have the National Guard called in. I am not a Trump fan, but if he’s elected it will be a democratic decisian and it should stand!

  4. The so called MSM is so utterly detestable, they foster, foment and egg on this kind of action, and then act incredulous at the despicable acts morons carry out on their framework and prodding, how convienient to sell another bird cage liner or garner another dopey windshield repair advertiser on your two bit radio or tv show..

  5. I hear you! I watched the demonstrations and I fail to see how they could have blamed Trump! Most of the rowdy ones were holding Bernie Sanders banners. My Dad was a Shell Service station operator. We also had a bulk fuel station. If you recall the 60’s, Shell was often the target of demonstrations because of Apartheid. One of our reps had worked at investigating demonstrations that threatened Shell refineries. Private investigators and photographers were hired, many of the rioters were hired by political activists. That was in the 60s! Nothing new!

  6. Facebook page for Atlanta mayor that hired little Tommie’s mother to oversee a $250 million dollar Atlanta Ga. highway project.

Little hate America Tommy Dumassimo, You forget that the internet works both ways ??
    Coming and going.
    Dumb Ass..
‘Dear Mayor if you ever want to become governor of Georgia, better get rid of Mrs. Dumassimo, because her little boy is a frigging socialists subversive and might attack you.’

  7. For a more modern example check out the Spanish Civil war.. it’s scary how it parallels that one. PS if you do some research on it, be sure to find check out the BBC mini-series, it’s the least biased. Remarkably the same players

  8. This is nothing compared to the 60’s.
Trump needs to engage humour against opponents, he can be funny.
    Scott Adams nails the media.
Ever notice they overuse Trump pics like he’s saying FU, etc?

  9. Tommy Diwoppimo is a “professional” demonstrator, and seeing that Italy was one of two democratic countries that had viable communist parties during the cold war, quell suprize BTW: Israel was the other such country

  10. I have been on record at SDA for WELL OVER A DECADE NOW saying that the ever-growing divide and outright hatred displayed between the ideological left and right was nothing less than a civil war that has already immensely damaged western civilization and will eventually see it’s demise.
You’re all very welcome for the heads up.

  11. If people are going to Trump rallies to deliberately be provocative of course Trump fans would get angry. Most don’t attack, but an occasional hot head will. You know when we were kids in school, it was a given that if you did not want to get punched, don’t provoke. The left never seems to accept their role in precipitating angry reactions.

  12. Destroying western civilization has been the object of the left all along. Look up the Frankfurt School and what objectives it had in mind. Now compare them with what we’re seeing nowadays and you’ll notice how much it has influenced the political systems in several western countries.
That’s one reason why leftist parties are so sympathetic to Islam. Both have the same goal in mind.

  13. A guy threatens a presidential candidate and gets nothing.
25 ranchers are in prison in Oregon and Nevada for protesting and it looks like most of them are going to spend a year in jail awaiting trial.
It is obviously criminal to be a Republican.

  14. We will see serious action on people who threaten political rallies as soon as Hillary is attacked.

  15. After all the attempted and successful assassinations in the states it is actually surprising these guys are not shot on the spot.

  16. It figures that the Communists News Network(CNN) would want to interview this jerk and Big Bad Wolf Blitzer and Red Ted Turner as well

  17. @CNN Let’s See! the frightened “Running Dogs” of the Washington Elite permenent careerists unleash their unemployed Liberal Arts Fools.

  18. Which guys? It is mostly the CIA that plans and executes successful assassinations. Assassinations are not done by random hot heads. Secret Service can deal with them.

  19. And the American Media continue copying the Canadian (Eastern ?) Media. Possibly this is just an Example of Guernica, Spain where the Nazi Regime used the Spanish Civil War as the testing ground for the Air-Power Blieztkreig World War Two Invasion.
Naw! this wouldn’t work the Americans are not that stupid to think the Eastern Canadian Populace could ever move beyond being Sheeple. Mind you we are talking about the American Smearedia.

  20. “The main obstacle to a stable and just world order is the United States.”—George Soros
“George Soros is an evil man. He’s anti-God, anti-family, anti-American, and
    anti-good.” —Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson
Is it possible to lay the global financial meltdown, the radicalizing of the Democratic Party, and America’s moral decline, at the feet of one man?
    It is indeed possible.

  21. The media, the liberal progressives, and the establishment Republicans simply do not understand what is driving the popularity of Donald Trump. If they did, they would not continue using the condemnation and denigration tactics they are currently using. Those tactics only bring more supporters and harden up the support of those already backing Donald Trump.
What is it that’s driving his popularity? Well, it’s been identified already. It’s ANGER. But identifying it is not the same as examining it.
People are angry about the duplicity and mendacity and hypocracy of these groups. They see the media condemning Trump for the very things that are glossed over and given a pass when done by the liberals. They hear the establishment Republicans giving insincere lip service in their condemnation of these very same things. They see the liberal progressives pushing an agenda which is very much at odds with their core beliefs and being praised for it.
The ANGER is caused by a dawning realization that they are being played for fools.
There is one other factor in play as well.
“Americans love a winner and will not tolerate a loser.” (George S. Patton)
It was true in Patton’s time and it’s true today. Donald Trump never lets us forget that he is a winner.
I’ll have a pretty good idea after today’s vote whether I’ll have to eat my words.
Oh, and P.S.: Scott Adam’s is a great cartoonist and, previously unknown to me, a good writer in the tone of Art Buchwald. His cartoons on “Dick” the internet troll were great.

  22. David: The people ” hear the establishment Republicans giving insincere lip service in their condemnation of these very same things.” The ISIS loving fool would one of the first to die under their leadership.
What Cruz, Rubio and Kasich should have done is rush to Trump’s defense, saying that while they disagree with his ideas and temperament, he should be debated, not shut down, and then unconditionally condemn all attacks on free speech. Instead, and most disappointingly Kasich, they play politics with ludicrous arguments his “tone” is encouraging attacks, rather than the leftist cabal of mediocre students, ideological profs and self interested elite that is motivating and enabling the violence we have seen by whipping up their bigotry into self righteous fury, if they are not actually planning and executing it.
Trump wants to call a temporary halt to Muslim immigration to ensure proper vetting, identification & security. Many can and do criticize that approach, but only a prejudiced mind concludes that is dangerously racist and must be stopped, that democracy must be cancelled out with violence and other affronts to liberty if the voter doesn’t go along with their political puppeteers’ plans.
John Robertson is right, life needs to be hard to be meaningful. Fooling the public into easy answers from a lazy establishment is their only chance. Minions acting with emotion rather than rationality, getting angry and becoming violent is clearly “easier” for all of them.
Move On is the same as Alinsky, who is the same as Ayers. Violence is just a part of the toolbox. Having said that, Trump clearly represents an obvious threat, in their minds, to the statist status quo – the recent acts are offered in evidence. Given their megalomania and distaste for balanced debate, they will go to the ramparts to get Hillary elected. The end always justifies the means, mirroring fascism on opponents is SOP.
Unless Trump loses both Florida and Ohio, he is likely unstoppable. Since he will likely win Florida and Ohio is a toss-up, though favouring Kasich, Trump will be in control of the process. Then we will see the extent of the left’s fears of Trump’s populism, absent ideology and refusal to give the political class its perceived entitlements.
It’s time for politicians and citizens of all strips to be denounce the growing tide of anti-democratic violence and the body politic should make it clear it will not be tolerated. What happened to the time when students were expelled for the conduct we have seen? Theory: most “activists” students are marginal students, not capable of parroting back Marxist fallacies or likely even getting out of bed to go to class – so they intimidate.
I know: same answer to both questions. The ideology of Marxism and its derivatives, that has inculcated and poisoned critical thought in our higher learning, government/bureaucracy and in the most striking abdication of public responsibility – the print and network media who now circle the drain.

  23. ‘Bully’ … ha ha ha ha ha … I LOVE that the liberal twits always invent words that aptly describe themselves, and hurl it at their opposition. The left isn’t “becoming what they HATE” … they ARE what they HATE. This “actor” will BEG for a living for the rest of his life. Never ONCE blaming HIMSELF for his condition. No, it will all be YOUR fault … for mocking and laughing at him.

  24. @Shamrock:

Precisely! No wonder there is ANGER.
Oh, and yeah, I made a typo. Elections in Ohio, Florida, etc are Tuesday not “today”. But then you all knew that.
