  6. It’s a mistake to get technical with the green lobby simply because they not only do not understand, but they don’t care. Suzuki said this and Gore said that is about as far their understanding takes them on any given day. They take note when the IPCC and DeCaprio scream that the sky is falling but turn a deaf ear when there’s proof that all the so called facts have been manipulated and are riddled with errors. Politicians and world leaders have a huge vested interest in monetary gain by staying with the status quo as they follow the money trail. They only hear what they want to hear and have little interest in what the “deniers” are saying as long as there is strong support for taxing a trace gas essential for life. As long as the main stream media is as brainwashed as the public this scam will continue. The last couple of winters have been a great help in opening up dialog that perhaps the MSM has been backing the wrong horse, and the inefficiency of anything green is making a impact on wallets around the world, but we still have a long way to go.

    That we a Carbon Based Life form, are dependent upon CO2 as one of the essential gasses of life, that organic carbon depends upon atmospheric CO2 in so many ways, that it is bats hit crazy for a life form to condemn its own components..
    The passionate members of the Gangrene never think anything through, they do not know how.
    There is near zero capacity for learning from experience.
    We see the same old solution, passionately promoted as the cure for dozens of imagined malaises.
    The sky is always falling in the world of these perpetual victims.
    It is not so much that they do not care that their solutions cause greater economic and environmental destruction than the problem they imagine, it is more like they are incapable of comprehending.
    The mass slaughter of our most magnificent raptors by these wind powered blunders is a step too far for their reasoning ability.

    They claim the scientific method as their standard , yet respond with” Silence: I kill you” when asked for their evidence.
    Seems to me they have a lot in common with other deluded zealots.
    And yes Gangrene is an accurate descriptor, a few germs won’t kill you but a festering rot in your fabric will demand drastic action to save your life.

I’ve also read (probably at Watts Up With That or Junkscience.com) that the “carbon footprint” for a windmill taking into account the rare earth minerals used in the blades (from China), all the other production, all the transportation involved, and the huge concrete bases that hold the effers up is larger than the (notional) amount of CO2 saved by the windmill in its lifetime. So it was already a scam from the CO2 savings point of view.

  9. CO2 is the result of combustion. All living things on this planet (except a few cyanobacteria) use combustion to provide energy, even plants. Fortunately plants also photosynthesize oxygen for their own uses. More CO2 is beneficial.

    Gangrene analogy, but with a minor change it could be
    even better.
    Gangrene can be cured by simply hacking off the affected
    limb above the infection.
    Gangreen on the other hand is far deadlier. It causes
    the decay and ultimate collapse of all industry, commerce
    and progress. A good example of this is the city of Detroit,
    or any other formerly industrial city after several decades
    of liberal governance.
    It first infects the brains of academics, then spreads to
    the body politic. Once industry and civilization collapse,
    Gangreen leads to tribalism, anarchy and war.
    In the penultimate stage, it causes mass starvation as
    crops wither and die as a result of collectivism and
    lack of chemical fertilizers and pesticides
    In its terminal stages Gangreen causes the resurgence of
    actual diseases once thought eradicated like Polio, TB,
    Leprosy, Malaria, and Small Pox.

    I once saw a clip of Al Gore’s movie where he was attempting
    to prove that footage of glacial calving was evidence of
    warming. There were a few smart-asses in my 1963 3rd grade
    class (myself included) who would have reminded him that
    calving is evidence of expanding ice! Yes, they are that

  13. The answer to the rhetorical question above is obvious. The Greens want us to strive against CO2 emissions but never to succeed. After all, if CO2 emissons from human sources ceased, they’d lose a major reason for their existence. More to the point, the Greens are violently opposed to the one form of energy generation that does actually displace carbon emissions: nuclear power.

It doesn’t matter what the problem is with this gang: in the 70’s they were talking about the coming ice age, the sky was falling, and therefore we must be communist. Twenty years later and it was a runaway greenhouse effect, and therefore we must be communist. Weather too dry or too wet? Same solution, communism.
    And these stupid fools think that they wouldn’t be the first ones up against a wall getting shot if they get the communism they so desire.
