  1. Oil win number one draft pick
Yet another player to fade to blue and black
4 first rounds in 6 years for a team that lives in Bettmans Basement

  2. And didn’t all the pundits pick Calgary to challenge them for that pick this year? GO FLAMES!!

  3. Frances:
I know I speak for all Vancouver Canucks fans when I offer you our deepest, most sincere sympathy. We will even apologize as we help you scoop up various bits and pieces of Flames after the last game of this series.

  4. Are Vancouver still the only cupless participant?
Not showing up to riot is a failed Vancouver policy

  5. “There are many who are now saying that [Valery Jarrett] is really the architect of this non-treaty with the Iranians, which ultimately will result in the Iranians having a nuclear program, and America having to accept a nuclear-armed Iran,”

Finally the traitorous snake in the pit is raising her ugly head.

“Valery Jarrett seems to have a 24-hour, around-the-clock (security) detail, with five or six agents full time,” Pat Caddell, a Democratic pollster, told Breitbart. “The media has been completely uninterested.”
Could it be that the Israeli Mossad have taken an interest in the Iranian Snake Lady?

“LONDON, Ont. — That was a nervous shudder you felt roll through Southwestern Ontario Wednesday. The question is, are more coming down the road?
Toyota, the world’s No. 1 automaker and the industry’s southwestern Ontario backbone, with two assembly plants and 8,000 workers, is sending its “bread-and-butter” Corolla production to Mexico as the Japanese giant ends an expansion freeze to flex its muscle in Mexico and China.”

  8. Cal2 says on another thread:
‘Of course I think Sinatra sings half a note flat. So what do I know’
Interesting you should think that. Obviously what your ear sends to your own processor is correct for your situation.
For me, I always thought Neil Diamond sounded like he was singing out of tune.
That was just me and it didn’t seem to affect his popularity or bank account.

Anyway, even the Tor Star turns on JT, who will lucky to win the race for second place in the upcoming federal election:

Apparently the old guard has been sushed away and replaced by inexperienced hipster technocrats and silly people like Gerald Butts. Based on the Obama experience, we can see there’s no problem with that approach. OK, there is; in fact it portends disaster. Jettisoning the experienced old guard, thus estopping good Grits like John Manley from returning, then parading political corpses like Chretien and Martin won’t remove the stink from Trudeau’s purge of anything resembling experience and ability from “his” party. Not firing the Senators, not his nonsensical position of nonexistent abortion legislation, not his shoving Eve Adams down the throat of local Liberals. Justin is doing precisely the wrong thing and thus ensures the failed ascendancy of the now skeletal LPC. No doubt the NDP is eyeing replacing them and turning liberalism in Canada into a spent force, as happened in the UK.
Letting the coalition genie out of the bottle is the latest of Trudeau’s missteps.

  12. Another brilliant column written by David Warren.
“The wolf is very much on the loose in the public square, across North America, and around the world for that matter. Catholics and all other Christians are up against many enemies, but the most lethal is a satanic creed, directly opposed to all Christian teaching. It is the “agnostic,” secular, anti-religion of “human rights,” in all its bottomless stench.”

  13. Thanks for the article by David Warren. He writes what I think will happen. My wife’s and my grandparents lived through the “wolf” stalking the land in Russia in the years 1917-1926 and believe me the signs are all there for a repeat here.

  15. File this under “I told you so:”
“Brigadier Gen. Hossein Salami, the number two official in Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps, said a harsh response would await anyone who raised the subject of inspections. ‘Visiting a military base by a foreign inspector would mean the occupation of our land,’ Salami said. Even discussing the subject is tantamount to “national humiliation,” he added.”
OTOH off with their sanctions: (Iran) “said the deal requires that sanctions be removed immediately, and have accused Washington of lying about its contents.”
