Global warming now turns fish into fish sticks before we’ve had a chance to bread or batter them.
Get me some tartar sauce.
I like the first comment on this in comments section:
“But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron” – 1 Timothy 4:1-2

I guess the “Good Book” hits this new religion on the head as described from above verse. A new religion built on lies and hypocrisy. The higher up in the “priesthood” of the new religion, the more their lifestyle shows the opposite of what they teach their followers. Examples: Al Gore and Dr. Fruit-fly.
I guess we found all that “missing heat” that was hiding in the oceans.

Gee. Every five to seven years. That almost sounds like a natural cycle that’s not influenced by man but we all know that can’t be right.
That about sums it up, and does so perfectly.
Back in the 1990’s Kevin Cosner was in this stupid movie WATERWORLD about the earth in the future totaly flooded becuase of Global Warming/climate change Cosner plays this goofy amphibious freako Mariner who swims dolphin style and makes himself look like a total baffoon the movie was one of the most expensive flops ever made
The emergence of conainerized movement of food grains is hurting the bulk carrier trade and this loss of market share is increasing rapidly, a container of grain is much easier to transport to end user. The bulk carrier fleet will be permanently reduced in capacity.
The Halifax Grain Elevator receives and delivers grain and feed products destined for local and global markets.
New to the port is “containerized bulk cargo.” The Grain Elevator has been adapted to handle containerized product with investments made into a “tip and load” facility. Today, the elevator handles pulse products, such as soybeans grown in Atlantic Canada, shipped halifax-grain-elevatorby container now to Asian countries via Halifax.
Ditto for Vancouver and soon PR.
sorry, wrong thread
How do we stop the global warming from cooling the oceans? Much more global warming and we will have an ice age.
Scar, the last 5 million years are quite definitive. The ice WILL return. Canada will cease to be because most of it will be under 1km thick of ice, and the east and west coast clusters of people will go their own ways. We still haven’t sorted out exactly why the ice retreated this time (though there’s lots of theories and correlating information, there’s no certainty about the cause). The time will come, in hundreds of years, when the question of whether to use nuclear weaponry to re-open an ocean circulation route through central america (that’s what happened about 5 million years ago and cooled us off into our cyclic ice ages ever since – closing of the isthmus).
You would have to consult with the geo-scientists who planned to stave off global cooling by covering the Arctic with soot, and planned to stop global warming by covering the Sahara desert with a white thermal blanket.
To warm up the oceans, they would probably recommend the installation of giant sized electric heating rods, like the ones people used to heat wash tubs of water in the days before indoor plumbing.
Placed around the globe with great scientific care, in no time they would have the problem cleared up.
Cost? About the same as the thermal blanket, but probably more than scattering the soot.
maybe governments could enact a carbon tax to help pay for it.
Meanwhile, how are you coping with the Climate Grieving Process?
