The same thing happened last week, but this time it’s not in Chicago:
Voting machines that switch Republican votes to Democrats are being reported in Maryland.
“When I first selected my candidate on the electronic machine, it would not put the ‘x’ on the candidate I chose — a Republican — but it would put the ‘x’ on the Democrat candidate above it,” reported Donna Hamilton.
“This happened multiple times with multiple selections. Every time my choice flipped from Republican to Democrat. Sometimes it required four or five tries to get the ‘x’ to stay on my real selection,” the Frederick, Md., resident said Thursday.
Queen Anne County Sheriff Gary Hofmann said he encountered the problem, too.

Maybe just send in the Dept of Corrections…you know voter FRAUD.

Can you take your camera phone into the booth?
I’m sure it’s nothing.
Now, let us have no more talk about this bizarre cover-up.
It has been increasingly obvious for years that the voting machines were being used to perpetrate fraud. How else do you get entire districts not casting a single vote for a Republican? Will anything be done about it? NO.
The left is becoming more blatant in using fraud to win elections.
We can have no confidence that the vote results that will be announced have any relationship with the votes actually cast. In Western civilization, governmental legitimacy comes from consent of the governed. Consent is determined and validated by honest elections.
If there are no honest elections, then the government so installed is not legitimate and there is no obligation to obey it in anything other than due to coercive force. If force is the determinant of what is legal, we now know what the rules are. Goose=>Gander.
In any contest between principled ideology and amoral leftism, do not expect rules to matter to the left side. Modern leftism is simply criminality in prog drag. We must begin to take this for granted and deal with genetic leftist perfidy accordingly.
The recent municipal elections were a microcosm of how the new leftist-MSM tag team collude to entrap the voting Eloi. If this perversion of the democratic correction option is not repaired, those who value principle must seek a battleground of our choosing in which to confront the left’s natural criminal reflex.
I’m thinking that those voter machines we borrowed from Mike Mann over at Penn State.
I’ll bet if those machines which do not hold original votes were to end up smashed on the floor by some mysterious accident, then the voters would have to go back to casting paper ballots and then the electorate could have true election results.
Has a voting machine ever showed ‘Republican’ when a vote was cast for a Democrat?
Funny these ‘calibration’ issues always go one way.
Didn’t this happen on a Simpson’s episode….?
paper ballots only with the counts being done by people from both parties and verified by another third party.
Exactly. As long as there’s lots of observers from both parties at every step, and as long as you frisk the volunteers who are doing the counting for pencils, there’s close to zero chance for fraud.
Voters marking the ballots in pencil + (multiple) counters writing down the results in pen = no fraud, and physical evidence of every voter’s ballot.
Democrats have yet to reject a method of voter fraud they did like a lot.
Fraud and intimidation worked to elect a president why would you think the Dems wouldn’t use the same techniques for this election.
as I have posted a number of times before, the democrates will win this election with a landslide. when your main financial supporter owns the company that supplies the voting machines what do you expect.
Just to add a personal note to this topic: I applied at the beginning of August for an absentee ballot in the small midwestern city where I still have a valid voter registration. My application was never acknowledged. On a visit to the city in late September, I visited the County Board of Elections to inquire about the application.
The staff informed me that they had received my application, that everything was in order, and that I was “on the list”, specifically #204, to receive an absentee ballot. I was told further that the ballots weren’t quite ready but would be sent out “soon”.
As of today, 28 October, no ballot had yet arrived. I invested in a long-distance call to inquire. When I explained the matter to the person who took the call, she admitted that mine was not the first absentee ballot that had gone missing (and I overhead another worker in the background say that they couldn’t account for “a lot of them”.
The Board of Elections staff member took my e-mail address and promised to send me a PDF ballot, which I would have to print off, fill out, and return by post. The election is next Tuesday, but I was assured that as long as the ballot was postmarked by November 3rd, it would be counted.
After I hung up, it occurred to me that the same thing had taken place during the 2012 election that returned President Obama. I had to call the Board of Elections that year as well and pay a hefty postage fee to return the ballot. I can’t rule out utter incompetence — after all, most of the workers are Democratic patronage appointments — but I did once register as a Republican.
