   It reminds of the actor Harry Morgan, the guy who played
   Col. Potter on the TV series MASH. All of the liberal
   actors in Hollywood knew for years that he was a serial
   wife beater, but never said a word.
   I think the world would be shocked at the number of closet
   bigots / racists / sexists / homophobes there are among the
   glitterati. But then the media is only interested
   when they are conservatives or Republicans.

    I have pondered this, recently in fact and have concluded that if I had the opportunity to do it again, with current knowledge,….I would definitely do things a lot different….probably not better….but different.
    I suspect Cher perceived her “black” choreographer was creating an all black company…probably was….
    But Cher is white and the choreographer is black, because, in theory, only whites can racist… so here we all are.
