Many are looking at this video and stating it is a great testament to teamwork and community. While it clearly represents those things, it can be blurred into liberal-social ideals. I think this video is a testament of a people who do not rely on government. They do not receive social security numbers, government handouts, “Obama phones,” and other “benefits” coveted by most in America. They are not a vaccinated, fluoridated, chlorinated, medicated, pasteurized people. They think for themselves and do not accept the status quo just because it is the status quo. They do not have an obesity epidemic either. I am glad to have Amish as neighbors and friends.
