“Yes it’s started.”

Richard Fernandez;

One thing wolves do is circle the victim. “Wolves would usually approach from downwind. Both to scent the animal and probably to prevent their scent from being carried to their prey. Suspicious and cautious by nature, this will usually entail some circling and observation, but at a distance.”

  1. So Sarah Palin is on the attack….. Good on Sarah.
I wonder who is advising Sarah?
Could it be Patrick Muttart, the former advisor and confidant of Stephen Harper way back when?
Patrick married an American girl from Chicago and I suspect Patrick is honing his skills now in the USA.
    Go “get ’em Sarah” !!
    Good on Ya!

  2. So they have started circling. Well whoopie. To little to late. Holdren held to account? Nope. The Hildebeast held to account? Nope. Learner held to account? Nope. The muzzie-in-charge held to account? Nope. The Pepsi-gal held to account? Nope. Hinze – 57 held to account? Nope. The list is endless. I think it’s time us Canucks put up a fence on our southern border. You clowns have let a great country fail. Oh wait. You’re a republic. Same as Rome.
Those who do not learn from history, are doomed to repeat it.

  3. The Republicans are making themselves “more” irrelevant, The low ratings of Congress are because they won’t do what is right. I, along with many others, will not vote Republican in 2016 unless they prove they are willing to do something to save America.
Spinning your wheels doesn’t help when your stuck on Stupid.

  4. Beohner is a coward. A lawsuit within 2 years of the end of term of a lame duck will accomplish SFA but take the issue off the radar while they all get through their elections.
I still maintain Sarah was the best presidential choice they never made, and should have. Her time may come yet. Underestimated by far. The GOP, all RINO, all the time, is nowhere near capturing anything from the Dems. NONE of the current successor names can rally anyone. The party will be as fractured in 2016 as it is today.
They need a mountain lion like Sarah – overt, quick, decisive. One thing the Dems understand is fear – they create it, they themselves are live with it. A
Palin is needed to send them scurrying for cover lest they be swallowed up. The GOP needs a leader who will pursue the Obamas, Holders, the Pelosis, the Reids, the Lerners, right into a Federal pen. No mercy. The future of the US depends on it entirely.
In two terms, Obama may have destroyed the US forever.

  5. Comparing Boehner to a wolf is like comparing a kitten to a tiger, it is beyond absurd.

  6. “I think it’s time us Canucks put up a fence on our southern border.”
Not a chance. If our government hasn’t had the guts to stop the illegal traffic at Akwasasne over the last 25 years, it sure as hell isn’t gong to do anything to stop the flow from a “humanitarian crisis”.

  7. Boehner is suing Obama over Obama-care, does he think everyone is stupid. Obama-care has a DOA funding issue that is bleeding out, let the Democrats explain their own failures. It’s a non-issue unless Republics want to own it.

  8. Fernandez has it all wrong. Boehner is not a wolf but a tactician, a chess player. He wants to secure his own position. It’s too cushie and very much a wealth generator for himself. Regarding Obie, Fernandez thinks the prez cares about his ‘political life’. You can’t think of this president like his predecessors. He is accomplishing what he intended. He has accomplished far more than most if not all of those before him.

  9. Yes, Palin has distinct Reaganite qualities.
    A cheerful warrior.
Witty. “You don’t bring a lawsuit to a gun fight”.
A master of memorable truthful phrases: Death Panels.
    Unquestioned integrity.
    Underestimated.
    The common touch.
Boehner is doing standard bureaucratic CYA stuff here.
Running out the clock APPEARING to do something.
    Excellent article. Superb analogy.
Did you click on the Laugher in Chief pix link? Worth 2000 words!
I think Barry is mentally ill: a marxist narcissist whose narcissistic supply has been withdrawn.
(Why in hell did my iPad mini try to correct ill with I’ll – 4 times!).

  10. The founding fathers would have been building a party sized scaffold and gathered plenty of rope for the job of properly dispatching the treasonous mules and pachyderms which inhabit congress these days.

  11. There is something to the article. Different approaches. Impeachment wont fly at this stage. So palins comments are a little empty since they cannot be fulfilled at this stage. But obamas reaction to the lawsuit shows it has struck a nerve. Obama knows he’ll lose when it hits scotus. And he doesnt like the challenge.

  12. Obama can & will do more damage in his last two & a half years.
That is if he gives up the Presidency.
An America in retreat is tearing the planet apart.
His obsession with making the US just another Nation, than socialising it has brought us to the brink of wars just waiting to happen.

  13. “I think Barry is mentally ill: a marxist narcissist whose narcissistic supply has been withdrawn.”
I was thinking that yesterday, as I watched his nasty, snide side come to the fore. His face is elastic.

  14. Boehner isn’t a wolf or any other alpha predator, rather a jackal or vulture. He is so in fear of his own ass he won’t do anything to stick his neck out.
Suing the President is a joke,Obama will be long gone before they ever get the case to Court.
America is on the verge of collapsing into a second rate Nation, no longer exceptional, just another France, and there doesn’t appear to be any leadership from any of the institutions of government.
Maybe Palin wasn’t such a bad idea.

  15. Unlike the rest of the GOP, Palin has a set of political cohones, and while impeachment may be a bit over the top, it’s clear she’s the only Republican capable of taking the entire POTUS administration to task over their many blunders consuming Americans’ blood and treasure.
She should run for president. WT heck – yes the media would have a cow – so what, they hate the GOP anyway and would back Stalin if he ran for the Democrats, let alone Hillary.
Palin could win if going forward she tones it down a bit, more like her VPOTUS pig & lipstick speech, AND the GOP dropped it’s fatally righteous social conservatism, like our Harper did. They won’t, so they lose.
    Alas.

  16. The problem isn’t Obama, Boehner nor is the solution Palin. The problem is Americans and the way they vote. They have become so divorced from the reality of creating wealth that they vote for empty suits like Obama whose line about the planet healing and oceans receding would have been laughed out of the country if not off the earth in a more realistic time.

  17. “..The problem is Americans and the way they vote…”
Thanks muchly for that, Joe. Every narcissistic, power-hungry, lying turd that holds office is nothing but a symptom of the real problem: a brainless, shallow, selfish electorate.

  18. On a related topic, the Potus’ abandonment of US sovereignty on the Southern border, rather than deport the little moppets pouring over the border unaccompanied by parents, they should be considered abandoned and put up for adoption. So much for anchor babies!

  19. With a wolf pack comes a natural remedy–Irish wolfhound. Superb doggie, indeed.

  20. Precisely.
Obama is what he is, and there has never been much doubt as to what that is. I read quite a bit about him and Michelle in
2008, and my only surprise has been that he was even worse than expected. His complete uselessness as US head of
government has never been in doubt.
The US has had many hucksters, flimflam artists, and would-be demagogue since its inception, and never fell for one so
completely before – not hook, line, and sinker. US politics have often been coarse and crude but I really think that the
treatment of Sarah Palin is unprecedented.
Well, the Americans have received what they voted for. May they enjoy it.

  21. Jon Voight spoke out on ‘Huckabee’ tonight and really laid it out there. He was tearing up at one point. The USA has so many GOOD people who see clearly what Obama is doing and how corrupt the Democratic Party has become. Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi are beyond redemption. In my view, they have succumbed to the dark side. Adelson, Buffett and Gates are not far behind.

  22. “America is on the verge of collapsing into a second rate Nation, no longer exceptional, just another France America is on the verge of collapsing into a second rate Nation, no longer exceptional, just another France …”
Why are you letting England off the hook?

  23. The wolves aren’t all Republicans. Maureen Dowd in the Noo Yawk Slimes today:
“Despite a tough role as the go-between in the highly public and embarrassing marital contretemps of her parents, Chelsea stayed classy. So it’s strange to see her acting out in a sense now, joining her parents in cashing in to help feed the rapacious, gaping maw of Clinton Inc.”
“The rapacious, gaping maw of Clinton Inc.” Holy. Fracking. Cr@p. This is coming from MoDo, media cheerleader-in-chief to the Clintons since Billy won the nomination waaaaay back in the 20th Century.
Truly, there is blood on the snow. And it ain’t all Barry’s.

  24. In the U. S. the President rewards lawlessness. In Canada we have the Supreme Court to do that, in its InSite ruling.

  25. Presstitutes gotta do that occasionally for their street cred. Sorta like how the CBC rolls out the token conservative viewpoint once in a while.

  26. To the extent that you see any appearance of MSM criticism of Obama or the Clintons, it’s just that: appearance. Now with Obama in his last term (as far as we yet know, anyway) the goal of the praetorian media is to protect the cause of liberalism itself. The ideology must be given cover. Any embarrassments, shortcomings, and failures must be laid at the feet of particular personalities. It can never be leftism itself to blame. So with Obama now safe from having to run another campaign, there is no real damage to be done by leveling some criticism against him.
It’s just the same old apologist song and dance they trotted out in their efforts to explain away the horrors of 20th Century communism. It couldn’t possibly be an inherently twisted ideology all the way back to the pen of Karl Marx. No, no, no, it had to be “corrupt” personalities who simply got it wrong either from incompetence or selfishness. But fear not comrades! This next crop of faculty lounge Marxists will get it right, the op-ed page of the NY Times assures us!
