There is no such thing as “climate science”.
I have been put under such an enormous group pressure in recent days from all over the world that has become virtually unbearable to me. If this is going to continue I will be unable to conduct my normal work and will even start to worry about my health and safety. I see therefore no other way out therefore than resigning from GWPF. I had not expecting such an enormous world-wide pressure put at me from a community that I have been close to all my active life. Colleagues are withdrawing their support, other colleagues are withdrawing from joint authorship etc. I see no limit and end to what will happen.
It is a situation that reminds me about the time of McCarthy. I would never have expecting anything similar in such an original peaceful community as meteorology. Apparently it has been transformed in recent years. Under these situation I will be unable to contribute positively to the work of GWPF and consequently therefore I believe it is the best for me to reverse my decision to join its Board at the earliest possible time.

This is truly horrible, proof of the existence of a cabal wanting to silence dissent, and I wish the guy had the balls to call his attackers out in public.
This is known as ‘climate cleansing’ for ‘ideological purity’.
Naturally, all those who don’t believe that CO2 is ‘gassing the planet’ must be eliminated from the ‘Klimate Konsensus Kommunity’.

When the CAGW orthodoxy has corrupted virtually all of academia, most professions, businesses and other inherent rent-seekers, mainstream churches, media, entertainment, and even conservative progressives who feel compelled to pay lip service, becoming an apostate is a big deal. When he was on the other side did he wonder why the skeptics were called deniers by his colleagues? Did he think that was justified? Did he participate? Did the lock-step exclusivity of the single variable (CO2) culprit without any measurable correlation to climate not arouse his curiosity? Did the “coincidence” of anti-CO2 orthodoxy and the “cure” of state control of all access to energy trigger any suspicions on political motives rather than the apparent pseudo-scientific zombie-herd effect?
Perhaps the “surprise” of being treated as a rat similarly to how the mob treats informants is the best analogy and for the same reason. You threatened the continuation of their ill-gotten loot, what did you expect?

With all the cons making this much money from carbon credits to fantastical views of Weather, supposedly from man made climate change. From bird blenders that don’t work to forcing people in an oil glut to pay mad prices for an abundance of power. Alberta lone without Saskatchewan has enough oil at present rates of use, to last at least 1000 years. Let alone the finds in the last few years World wide.
The world climate has changed many times, long before mankind arrived. What utter arrogance these would be little godlings of pseudo-science, pretending they can forecast weather into the future centuries. When even with satellites we can’t do more than 2 days at a time. Even than we get it wrong.

Their is a bigger lesson to be learned from all this. To make an employee say “how high” when you ask them to jump is as simple as being the only employer in town. As an added bonus, the employees are self policing, allowing no descent in the ranks so as to endanger their lifestyles or the lifestyles of the employer. It really is that simple.
I think a lot of people who are surprised by this behavior from the Klimate Korps really don’t understand how much money is tied up in this scam.
I mean, just think of how many windmills got put up in Ontario on the strength of Global warming. Just one (1) of those frickin’ things costs several million dollars. If the government is forced to admit there IS no global warming, some very important people are going to be EATING the cost of these machines and their removal as well.
That’s one province in one pissant little country in North America. Imagine Europe, where they have $2.50 a liter gas (that’s $10/gallon for us dinosaurs out there) to save the planet from global warming.
So yeah, I’d not be a bit surprised if some fuddy duddy old professor dude got leaned on. In fact, I’m not going to be surprised if something might happen to the guy some day soon.

The bogus climate crisis was a perfect vehicle for global bolshevists and utopian statists to come together on – pushing a global eco-crisis allows for “emergency” measures to combat the phantom menace – like arbitrary central control of land use and resources, mandated restriction in personal mobility,dependence on water/food/energy rationing systems, energy dependence – all the lovely little mechanisms which require central control an oppressive governance, and of course a compliant cultural stazi to repress dissent – but isn’t that what modern progressive Bolshevism is all about – dragging us into utopia through large oppressive martinet governance.
We can laugh at the outragiouness of the symptoms of looming enforced collectivism or freedom lovers can start an organic movement to resist this tyranny – make our politicians utterly afraid to enact any of the dystopian agendas of this global menace – or we will end up being hunted down like criminals for our dissenting opinion in the not too distant future.
