  1. The uninformed will still continue to be UNINFORMED. Even if they need more misleading information to stay UNINFORMED.

  2. Ironically, Mexican illegals have been -leaving- California the last few years because there are no jobs anymore. EPA declared the Delta smelt endangered and killed off the farms in the Imperial Valley.
That’s why your produce comes from Peru and Chile these days.

  3. Guess the battle of the Alamo was a complete waste of time. Mexico won anyway. All it needed was Obama to open the door.

  4. If we make an effort to buy Chilean and Peruvian produce will that draw illegal immigrants to those countries from Mexico?

  5. I dunno, seems natural to have a person predisposed to break the law be called to the bar (or the bench) in a kakistocracy – similarly in a kleptocracy those with a predispositon to theft are likely to gravitate to banking.

  6. As somebody who attended law school in California, I’d say that that’s just about par for the course for both California and the legal occupation (not the legal “profession”; actually “legal racket” may be more accurate).

  7. Well, I’m going to risk a bit of abuse here, but the decision isn’t quite so crazy as it looks. The guy came into the USA as a child, brought by his parents, so he didn’t actually deliberately break the law himself. The issue is not whether a criminal shoud be allowed to practice law. It’s whether somebody who grew up in the USA and has never lived anywhere else should have to leave the country and apply for admission before he can work in the field for which he’s otherwise qualified, simply because his parents were criminals. To my own mind the answer is a clear, “Hell, yes!”, but in any event that’s the issue.

  8. I heard this guy interviewed on our own beloved CBC Radio one yesterday morning about 6:45AM.
He was very glad to be allowed to practice law in California. As the interview was winding up,the host asked.”oh,what type of law are you going to specialize in”?
He replied,”oh, civil cases and personal injury”. The interviewer, sounding disappointed, said,”thank you”. End of show.
This is what California really needs, more personal injury suit lawyers. Now just watch this once great engine of the American economy ramp up!

  9. “Illegal alien gets law license in California”.
Obama got his law license finally. Good for him.
