55 Replies to “Green Party Barbeque”

  1. What makes you think this picture is ‘greens’? All the greens I know would never wear camo or burn tires. Is there a point here?
This looks more like another first immigrants stunt.

  2. These simpletons are too dense to connect the pleasant temperature inside the structure for the after-party, and the transport to and fro, is all thanks to carbon fueled prosperity.
Paraphrasing some SDA’r; “Unless they are vegetarian nudists travelling on a home-made wooden bicycle, they are flaming hypocrites”

  3. Just curious where the myth that American Indians are living in harmony with their environment came from? A look at any Indian reserve will show quite the opposite. Also, the American Indians were responsible for the overhunting of many currently extinct species and, if unchecked with modern weaponry, would be responsible for the extinction of many more.
That single tire fire likely will release far more carcinogenic compounds into the atmosphere than a fracking operation would during its lifetime. Obviously not very deep thinkers this bunch.
What I suggest is to follow the money. Perhaps PMSH should take a page out of Obozo’s playbook and sic Revenue Canada on these individuals to find out what undeclared income they’ve obtained from the Tides foundation and other foreign groups illegally intervening in Canadian affairs. I’m sure there’s a lot of dirt to be dug up there.
Then, one can always use the terminally idle for ones own purposes. It appears that Buffet’s rail shipment of Bakkan oil occurs through a chunk of Canada. All it would take would be a bit of seed money, a large amount of beer, and a few truckloads of rubber tires for these same terminally idle to blockade the railroad protesting the oil shipments. Throw in the incompetence of the HRGT to do anything other than harass non-Indians, and one might have swift approval of the Keystone pipeline, especially after a firewater fueled oil train ignition at the hands of the terminally idle. In fact, given that Native Indians are able to travel freely across the border, PMSH should fund US demonstrations on railroad tracks frequented by Buffet’s trains. Unclear if US law enforcement has the same hands off approach to Native Indians claiming that the railroad track runs across a sacred burial ground which was just discovered as a deeply buried racial memory requiring a native elder 3 bottles of vodka to flush out.
Rather than view these individuals as a problem, view them as mercenaries for hire and all it takes is to outbid the Tides foundation for their services in order to cause massive mayhem south of the border.

  4. Big Oil doesn’t bother me, I lose no sleep over Big Pharma, but Big Stupid is starting to worry me a bit…

  5. Assuming that first immigrant protestors embrace the Green philosophy is a farfetched stretch of the imagination. Around here the usual suspects are a bunch of unemployed welfare bums who will show up and protest anything for $5. Nobody but the media pays them any notice.

  6. Sacred Casino grounds and Bingo Traditions are not enough, they have to take the moral high ground too…

  7. Ah yes, raise our fists in a traditional salute at the traditional sacred tire fire, belching out the great black smoke as a tribute to mother earth, wearing our traditional hoodies just before we retire to the traditional plastic tarp covered long house. Absent from this scene are the police enforcing the law.

  8. This is beyond impuissant. Its just so pathetic, you have to wonder if they all sniff gas.
As usual the Police are in hiding.
They all wear camouflage. I would be to. to hide the lame actions of weaklings, who make hypocracy look like a made up word.
One real shot at them would have then scuttling off like shaking wee rabbits.
When the white man is gone with his subsidies, they won’t have a pot to puke in.

  9. Revnant Dream, thanks for the link to the Grey Owl story. Visited Prince Albert national park in my youth and it struck me as one of the nicest areas of SK and a nice relief after seemingly endless vistas of flat grain fields.
Grey Owl wouldn’t have an easy time of it today given the DIA’s attention to minutiae of precisely how much Indian ancestry each of its charges has. Probably one of the only systems of apartheid still present in the developed world and far more complex than the S. African system that was so derided by the same individuals who consider Canadian apartheid to be “just”.

  10. A similar act to Bill C-377 (unpassed) should be enacted for Indian Bands — if they spend government money, it should be accountable.
The other way is to re-introduce the sunshine law with at max a 100k limit which of course should include all crown corporations but also all organizations that reply on federal funding such as Indian bands. Municipal governments under provincial sunshine laws are obligated to reveal such data so why shouldn’t an Indian band under a similar federal law?
    It’s called transparency.
Most people on the reserves would welcome that (except the people looting the kitty for their own personal benefit).

  11. Yep…the spoilt rotten children of the noble environmental natives, protesting progress by burning old tires while standing on asphalt with a corrugated highway sign in the background…perfect.

  12. as somebody of Ukrainian origin — many of the protesters in Kyiv Ukraine have been instructed to be non-violent — thus it has been proven by Ukrainian media that the instigators of violence last weekend was proven to be government instagators. They were photographed after the event behind government lines not beaten, not arrested, not detained. Pretty obvious.
So can the Native Canadian groups adopt similar policies? Burning/destruction of property does not win people — it may propp up their masculinaty, yep thugs.
These people need to grow up.

  13. Worth remembering that this is all about an exploration project that is no further along than the seismic survey. There’s no fracking going on at all.
For those of a historical bent (like, oh, any more than six weeks ago) do you recall the green-grief over the Hagersville tire fire back in the 90s? Bravo for life’s little ironies…

  14. It should be obvious that they’re protesting for the sake of protesting, any excuse will do. They’re not green, they’re brown.

  15. Yes they are native, and they personaly don’t give a rats ass about the environment, but the greenies are happy to use them for their cause, so they are completely complicit in this act of environmental terrorism.

  16. Two weeks ago the cars were still attached.
Unlike the shrub trimming felony in the thread above the RCMP were too lame to lay charges

  17. Radicalized wards of the state display their Bolshevik mentality – yes of course radical demands and violent demonstration and the threat of violence will get you anything in this effete decaying social structure.
In my father’s day locals would band together confront and march these mongrels into the local constabulary where they would do time for vandalism, breaching the peace and public mischief. If they made the mistake of violently resisting citizen arrest they would make it to the constabulary in somewhat shop-worn condition.
Now, due to state/police/MSM indoctrination there isn’t the guts in the community to confront a social menace – even the police are to timourous to act. As a society allowing public menace is nor being “polite” or tolerant – we are submissive and simpering.

  18. It’s a traditional smoke signal directed to mother Gaia meaning, “F— You! And keep the welfare payments coming.”

  19. Loki;
So much of the mystic surrounding what was prior to Whites arriving is simply based on untruths.
The universality that native groups use as a standard did not exist. In my particular area the Kootenays lived in fear of Blackfoot raids which occurred regularly. They embraced the arrival of HBCo traders as it gave them access to firearms. They embraced American settlement to the south of them as well and for the same reasons. They wanted a ally against the Blackfoot. Even in the case of the Blackfoot and Crow their territory was invaded by Sioux from the east.
From an environmental perspective the simple issue of feeding the people was a huge issue. Starvation was a regular issue. The environment controlled the people as what it provided was not universal. Some tribes simply succeeded better than others. White settlement took natives from the stone age to relative security in decades rather than centuries. The biggest native issue IMHO is the establishment of reservation collectives that stunted most individual development and ensured dependence. Native leadership and the whites who run Indian Affairs live off that dependence and will fight to maintain it.

  20. … or second or third wave immigrants. Population of north and then south America happened in successive waves and the so-called “natives” are anything but.
But I digress, this is Tides and Sierra Club US dollars at work.

  21. Wouldn’t it be most unfortunate were a highways sand truck with a county blade and wing deployed to come along at that moment?

  22. You guys all have it wrong.
They are just heating the ground and taking the frost out of it so they can go back to the conventional ways of hand-digging for the oil/natural gas. Don’t want any of that excessive polluting heavy equipment to open up the ground!
They will get their cheques from Al Gore and David Suzuki for a job well done.

  23. So what ever happened to that sneaky looking fat white woman that was stealing all that tax money from the Indians last summer?
She and her white husband disappeared from the MSM radar pretty fast didn’t they.

  24. The raised fist is the trademark of Marxists. That shouldn’t surprise anyone. What a bunch of lunatics.

  25. America g the negroes and Canada got these here indians, but we both got the stupid bastards who let white-guilt allow those groups to run wild over the citizenry. When oh when will we see a backlash against these groups of throw-backs and you can toss in all the lefties who think we can move back to the forest and live on bear droppings and sativa.
Does anyone know of anyone who has owned or abused in any way …. a member of those two groups? Does anyone not know that most of the housing, food, clothing, transportation, medical care and rifles and cars/trucks all come from the white man who gives them FOR FREE to these indians. Pretty much the same south of the border … ingrates doesn’t begin to cover these scum-bags. So why are we paying for their lives. WHY? Do they not have hands and feet … can they not work and pay their own way. Maybe help their own useless asses.
They can all frack off and die and leave the gathering of energy and prosperity to the adults so they can continue to get their free stuff. etc … but they don’t even connect those dots …. too stupid to understand how things work. Like Obama.
    Okay I feel better now.

  26. Are we sure this just isn’t the touring company of that beloved old Broadway musical, Burn Your Wagon?

  27. The beloved Chief you are referring to,Saint Theresa Spence, was recently in the news when she thanked the Mayor of Kapuskasing for taking about 30 of her Band members in when there was some type of emergency with their housing, don’t remember exactly what.
I had thought, with all the extra money coming into that Band, all their problems would be over, but I guess Chief Theresa was too busy solving world peace or some such to look after her own citizens.

  28. don morris >
Thanks D. Morris, I thought it was Rosanne Barr up from Hollyweird doing some stupid activist thing. My wife argued no, she’s just some fat Liberal white lady ripping off millions of dollars and getting away with it as usual because she say’s she represents little brown people.
Looks like I lost the argument.

  29. Oh most unfortunate indeed, a water cannon would be more advisable I would think. It would have a sobering effect as well.

  30. You, Al from Ottawa, and Loki nail it. There is a money trail behind this and similar groups. It is high time for the government of Canada to do something about who is funding and radicalizing these groups of 1st settlers.
