Well I hope Neil Young will remember an Alberta man don’t need him around anyhow,
I didn’t know Neil Young went to Hiroshima.
As far as the oil sands go, Neil has more than enough money to fly a private jet to Saudi and buy his fuel direct from them. Then a quick stop over in Angola or Sierra Leone for some diamonds and maybe finish up in China for the world’s last Panda liver dinner.
Didn’t some guy named Neil Young make some fine music back in the Sixties? Who is this loser moron Bozo using his name?
Neil Young’s electric car breaks down, Left ‘Helpless’ on California Highway.
Young was on his way to an environmentalist festival in Canada, according to the Sierra Sun, driving his custom-made hybrid electric 1959 Lincoln Continental.
“The car is touted as the world’s first full-sized luxury series hybrid electric car powered by biomass, according to the LincVolt website,” the Sun reported.
Why would anyone pay any attention to this goof?
Neil Young has always been a bit far out, not surprised he’s become a full blown crack pot.
He should check in with windbag Al Gore, find out how he conserves energy with his opulent homes and world travel.
I wonder how he measured the background radiation at Fort Mac to make the comparison to Hiroshima, unless he is recognizing that within one year, Hiroshima was growing again.
Oh well – what can you expect from a fellow whose panties are so tight that his voice makes Tiny Tim sound like a baritone in comparison.
Follow the money. Neil is just pimping his own products: yet another electric car for stars and mayors to own (and subsequently watch burn).

You mean this! Neil Young – the one taking on the fossil fuel industry by tooling around the continent in his ethanol guzzling 5500 pound 1959 Lincoln Continental ??
This guy ??

“I hope Neil Young will remember” LOL. That’s the laugh of the day for me!
Ha good one!
I heckled David Suzuki this morning as he jaywalked his way across Wellington to go to CBC HQ.
The little guy dresses like Caine from Kung Foo for the chicks, I’m sure.
So an oil spill is a man-made disaster and must be dealt with instantly but the oil sands are a natural disaster and to be left alone.
Has anyone tested the ground water near the oil sands and more importantly what’s Yoko’s take on all this?
1. Hiroshima and the land affected by oil sands production made / will make a full recovery – clearly NY has never been on a tour of either place.
2. This is the same Neil Young who has a fondness for old American cars and drives them pretty regularly. I guess he’s not aware that they pollute at a rate equal to one or two thousand times that of a modern emissions compliant car.
He is a hypocrite via his ignorance.
Neil Old is against blue collar jobs.
Yeah Neil’s been ‘waging heavy peace’ for a long time now. He’s makes little sense.
He’s just another wacked out musician who has spent his whole life writing and playing 3 chord songs looking for a word that rhymes with orange. He has been commercially successful and I acknowledge that but why anyone would think that his opinion is valid on any topic other than music?
Remember when Dylan and Lennon were considered some sort of god who ‘really spoke to you?’ Hell they didn’t know what their songs meant, or were supposed to mean…..because they had no meaning. Just like their opinions.
Personally I’d take the temporary disruption of land from fossil fuel extraction over the permanent ugliness of urban blight. Resource companies are required to reclaim and restore native flora which then allows the local fauna to repopulate the area.In 10-20 years there will be little evidence of human activity.
And gawd awful music…that crap will outlast them all (except Detroit).
Just ’cause a guy walks on the moon doesn’t mean he knows anything about the environment or stuff. Sheesh.
Its better to burn out than to fade away?
Id say he has done both and his best years are well behind him..
I would like to dedicate Old Man to Neil, from all those hard working Canadians in Alberta..

Biomass? What’s Neil do then, crap in the tank? Exlax, sport. Never run outta fuel. Geez. Eat More!
yah, Neil sings, and Pamala Anderson has tits!!
I actually had to google his name cuz I don’t know this wing-nut from a post!!!!!! I get sick and tired of these clowns being able to talk about things they know very little about……much like the Hollywood goofs. And then when they are caught out…..they fold like a cheap suit. Why even give this guys ink……
“Sweet home Ala….berta where the skys are so blue…”
Time has a way of *always* eventually sorting the losers from the rest.
I’ve had it with Neil Young. ‘Never liked his tinny voice anyway. ‘Fat Cat who dresses like a hobo: That’s really tacky and a finger in the eyes of those who dress like hobos because they have no job, no money.
I’m sick to death of the rich and famous who can afford “green” energy and who **it on the rest of us by lobbying for an end to oil and gas energy. They’ll never experience no job or welfare. What pigs.
“Just ’cause a guy walks on the moon doesn’t mean he knows anything about the environment or stuff. Sheesh.”
Is that tongue in cheek, rat, or are you confusing Neil Armstrong with Neil Young?
Last year when Neil Armstrong died, NBC announced that Neil Young had died.

I’ll assume that’s what the rat meant because I was going to post the same thing.
Neil Young Just another “progressive” Zombie.
No wonder the movies, & show is so popular.
They are just one mass of stupid with a semi life.
Neil wrote a song right after the 911 attacks, based on the passenger in the jet who attacked the hijackers. This is the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania. “Let’s Roll”.
Wonder how shakey feels about terrorist oil now? Why don’t these “heroes” stand up in the middle of Fort Mac expressing their holier than thou thoughts? That would be courageous. And its a good bet, a lot of those blue collar workers there are, or were, Neil fans………….
And yeah, he should have followed his own advice, and Burned out, because his fading away is a disturbing site. Decades of drug use have a taken a toll on the old hippie.
So this has been has lost his marbles too.
The only atomic bomb that I remember going off in Alberta was named Alison. We haven’t seen the full extent of the damage that has been caused yet.
Maybe him and Nenshi can get the Pembina poofters to do background vocals and record an anti Keystone anti TARRRRsands LP, you know the kind made on vinyl wrapped in plastic, the worst singer in captivity that Neil Young, that bad dope has caught up with old Neil, he wrote some decent music once but his vocal delivery sounded like cats humping on a hot tin roof. go to hell Neil.
Now now, we can’t let senility detract from the moral presumptions of the pop elite.
That is the insulated 1%ers are our moral conscience – they really know what’s best because they’re above all the wantonness of the soiled masses – like earning a living or heating a family home in the winter or affording fuel to get to work – they have none of these corrupting factors impacting their righteousness.
The message is pure even if the vessel is flawed by age dementia
Oh well, at least he provided the Bellamy Brothers with some inspiration.

Hiroshima death toll = 150,000
Neil Young’s IQ = 50
