  1. It’s obviously Obama’s plan to hide his true Syrian strategy behind a morass of dekes, obfuscations, and double reverses so that Assad has no clue what to expect next. I certainly don’t.
No wonder they gave Obama a Nobel Prize. Man’s a genius.

  2. ONE OF MANY BULLSHIT MOMENTS: Right after the military strike, the U.S. intends “to redouble its efforts” to help the people of Syria.
    Come on.

  3. From transcript of speech:
The majority of the Syrian people, and the Syrian opposition we work with, just want to live in peace, with dignity and freedom. And the day after any military action, we would redouble our efforts to achieve a political solution that strengthens those who reject the forces of tyranny and extremism.
    Uh huh.

  4. And he will use the latest advanced technology: the AIM Moral Missile, that detects whether a target is an innocent peace-loving civilian or a blood-drenched jihadist, before blowing his head off.

  5. Did you ever think there would be a President that would make you wish Jimmy “the peanut farmer” Carter was back in the White House?
Well, I just watched this “president” use his teleprompter to give a speech on why we need to attack but then tells us why there won’t be an attack, why Congress needs to OK the “very limited strike” but will not vote on the resolution.
Wow! Could you believe your ears? This guy doesn’t know what he is doing. Not one thing.
Barry, the community organizer who makes me want peanuts.

  6. Krishian Armanpour (or whatever) and two other heads carrying Obama’s speech water on Andersen 360 tonight. Utterly repulsive.

  7. Cristiane Amanpour has been an apologist for the Obama regime from the get-go before he was first elected in 2008.

  8. Blazing Catfur has a suggestion up at his place right now:
    http://blazingcatfur.blogspot.ca/2013/09/make-09112013-dont-blog-about-obama-day.html#disqus_thread
Suggests we all refrain from mentioning Barry or his frigging speech all day tomorrow, because its 9/11. Some things deserve to be respected, and the best way to respect 9/11 AND the first anniversary of the Benghazi attack this year is by ignoring the hell out of Barry.
Besides, its not like that speech was worth commenting on. I didn’t even see it and it still bored me.

  9. Charles Krauthammer said on FoxNews that Obama was incompetent. He was being polite I believe. It has been mentioned a number of times on this blog that Obama was making Carter look good. Now confirmed by the events of the last few weeks.
Putin the cat playing with a mouse.

  10. Obama mentioned in his speech that the US military does not do pinprick actions.
Greg Gutfeld on tonight’s special edition of The Five, wondered what Obama meant.
“I always thought a pinprick was a guy who cheated in bowling.”
    And the laughter continues.

  11. Amazing OBumbles could even talk.
He has his foot in his mouth, Kerry’s foot in his mouth and Putin’s foot up his arse end.

  12. It is still 11:38 – 9/10/ so here goes.

    Odolaters Teleprompter Speech:
‘the day after any military action, we would redouble our efforts to achieve a political solution that strengthens those who reject the forces of tyranny and extremism,
Syrians uniting with us will receive free cell phones and food stamps.’
I promise not to mention O-lies name for the next 24 hours out of respect for the brave Americans dead 9/11.

  13. Oh God, has it come to that?
Obama will not quit until the Middle East is in shambles and the US resembles Detroit.
What the hell is everyone waiting for? Impeach the b—–d.
As for September 11th, well- Obama DID have Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens killed on that day so…

  14. And just to note, she’s married to James Rubin, a political Democrat, having served in the Clinton admin back in the ’90s as chief State Dept. spokesperson — Clinton, of course, the last Democrat to serve in the White House and someone for whom Obama has a great admiration. No need for disclosure, though. Low info news consumers of CNN wouldn’t be interest in such blatant conflicts of interest.

  15. “Obama’s plan to hide his true Syrian strategy…”
Obama’s strategy is to accuse the Syrian government of using nerve gas, then threaten to commit a unilateral Act of War in order to purge the TV/radio/newspaper mediums of the several major historic scandals his administration is involved in.
    It worked beautifully.

  16. He was doing the Saudis’ work to support their Sunni sharia army. Glad he’s been foiled in the attempt.
Rhetorically, I would ask if he has learnt nothing from Algeria, Libya and Egypt but then I have to say, such a record of “failure” can only be understood if he actually wanted it this way.

  17. To paraphrase Sarah Palin: “He’s going to bomb Syria because Assad bombed Syria”.
Hopefully his Presidency will ruin the reputation of Harvard University.

  18. Well his speech was not the speech I hoped to hear. Of course the speech I wanted to hear would have been quite short. In fact it would only be two words long.
The speech I wanted to hear verbatim “I QUIT”!
Just for dramatic effect it would have been nice to see the FBI firmly attach hand cuffs the second ‘quit’ left his mouth. Well a fellow can dream can’t he?

  19. IMO Obama has not even come close to Jimmy Carter, yet. Many think the Cuban missile crisis was as close as we have come to WW III. That situation had two
WW II vets at the helm and they knew what it meant to go to war. Carter was so obviously out of his depth that I thought the Russians might take a shot. There must have been generals who thought so at the Kremlin. Thank God that Reagan rode to the rescue.
