I’ve dealt with too many Muslims to think that they’re just a bunch of crazy rag heads. Nearly all want the same things we do. In Canada Muslims inform on the nutcases in their groups. They are more interested in buying a small business then throwing a bomb.
Way back, it was understood that Catholics and Protestants couldn’t coexist. During WW II we tried to hate Germans and Japanese. Now that seems silly.
Hopefully some day we won’t care that the brown people go to a different church and just treat terrorists as terrorists.
Unbelievable. I understand that pre- WW II isolationism will not work anymore but it harkens to a simpler time in USA affairs. It speaks to the appeal that Reagan’s Star Wars campaign had for most Americans. It makes me sympathize with Israeli’s who have built their Dome missile defense shield.
ME countries have demonstrated a consistent inability to govern themselves without tyranny and violence. Their common bond is Islam who people can come to their own conclusions. These countries, although not unique, have the victim attitude down pretty well. If it is not international Zionism then it is the USA and the UK who are at fault for their situation.
Since the Arab League has now endorsed military action against Syria I hope the USA tells them that their member states led the ground forces and if necessary that Euroland back them up. Turkey and the Sauds can led off and the Italians, French, and Germans can play backup.
I read somewhere that an Egyptian newspaper believes that Obama is Muslim Brotherhood. I don’t see any evidence to the contrary.

Prove it. A better explanation for CSIS catching Jihadis in Canada is PRISM, XKeyscore, and Tempora Internet surveillance programs run by the NSA and which the Canadian government, among others, is a part of.
I have done business with a number of muslim suppliers and customers over the years. The following applies to all but one of them. That one was a fun and interesting guy. He had to escape his father in Iran who wanted to kill him for dishonouring him by wanting to leave the family business and starting his own business.
All of the rest, if one dug a little below the surface, were unfortunately resentful or suspicious of white people. One saw racism/prejudice everywhere and could hardly believe that in the past white people had experienced prejudice or suspicious from others. Unfortunately the others I dealt with were down right suspicious or even hostile. I wouldn’t even want to get into a conversation about Israel’s right to exist. The guy mentioned above blamed ALL problems in the muslim world on Israel’s existence even if the trouble was muslim on muslim in Pakistan.
Yeah well, a moderate muslim is the one holding yer feet while t’other cuts yer head off.

It is become more and more obvious that the US president is a strong sympathiser with Islamic extremism (not with all groups, however). In fact he proposes going to war on their behalf in Syria. He is asking for a broad mandate, which will quite likely be extended to Egypt, where his sympathies for the Moslem Brotherhood are clear and open. And it is not just a matter of air strikes: as of last evening the US media were speaking openly of involvement of ground forces.
Not all muzzie savages are brown people. But they are all savages and guys like you will never convince me to think otherwise. Read their damn play book then get back to me and explain how peaceful and loving they are. I assume you’re a progressive male. You sound like one. And islam is not a religion by the way, it’s a death cult with plans to dominate the world, though I doubt you’d understand that.

I think this speech means exactly what all his other speeches mean: nothing. He’s reading the screen, baby. Just another public service announcement. The guy probably makes forty of these at one go, video greeting cards.
You want to know what he’s really about, you’ve got to look at what he does. So far, that’s been breaking things. He’s broken the economy and the health care industry, this week he’s trying to break the armed forces. Next week he’ll be flooding Texas with Mexicans.

Anyone who watches this video and/or has noted that the stranger in the whitehouse bows to any non Christian cult leader but sends back a bust of Winston Churchill, and fails to connect the dots, has pasta for brains, IMO. Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of an Hamas leader and a former Hamas youth operative, says in his book “Son of Hamas” that there is no such thing as a moderate Muslim, only one who does not do his duty to the infidel.
He worked for a special branch in Israeli intelligence for a few years until he began to loose his nerve and now lives in the US with protection. His father disowned him.

I’ve always likened muslims to Catholics in that there are many catholic-by-proxy or catholic-by-birth people. They don’t really understand the tenets of their faith (or in islam’s case, sect) and don’t care if they follow them or not. They simply identify as catholics.
If a muslim was actually practising islam, there would be no ‘radical’ or ‘moderate’ labels. There would simply be terrorists bombing, torturing, and killing for the sake of islam and they would call themselves muslims.
The problem with John Brennan converting to islam is that either he knows EXACTLY what he’s getting into, which should immediately make him ineligible for his job (or for US citizenship for that matter), or worse, he isn’t smart enough to understand what islam’s all about and therefore (again) should be ineligible for his job.

aI live in a relatively small town and recently I’ve noted several women following their men, fully clothed in the niqab, just their eyes showing. I’d be willing to bet that when they sat before Canada’s immigration officer in their land of origin they weren’t dressed that way. Such people are here to establish a beachhead for their caliphate – they are not interested in simply attending “a different church”.
I have no problem with Sikhs wearing traditional garb, nor Muslim women wearing a veil. I don’t even care if a Muslim shows up at my door proselytizing their faith a la’ the JW’s. But many of them here today are here to change Canada, not to change and adapt TO Canada as other immigrants have for decades past.
And yeah, some of their kids will wear Nikes to college, but some of them will be wearing them as they return to M.Eastern jihadi camps too.

There was a NDP MLA from Ontario who is/was a practicing Muslim who made the same statement that there are no moderate Muslims. It is all about timeline. The end goal is world dominance by Islam and Sharia law for all. All non believers can be sacrificed at the appropriate time.

Culturally we have opposing values when it comes to equality and freedom, that will NEVER change within the Muslim and Arabic cultures, whether they remain in traditional Islamic countries or “Multicultural” western ones.
