  1. Gee, come on folks. Who couldn’t see the humour in that. I mean what is funnier than dead children under the rubble of their school…Ha ha ha,,,,I’m still laughing it hurts.
Sheesh, and they wonder why we think they are stupider than a bag of hammers. And they are running the US (mind you into the ditch) now….oh, boy !!!

  2. I used to think leftards were a few fries short of a happy meal. Now I know for sure that the only thing they get out of a happy meal is the toy.

  3. Oklahoma is largely conservative. So I guess she was saying that they got what they deserved.
At the moment yesterday when she had tweeted this, the children that had drowned in the school basement hadn’t been recovered and their parents had been moved away to a nearby church to be told the news as those children were recovered.
I suspect she was trying to be “edgy” and get her name in there, knowing this would be the big news story of the day.
She has since apologized for this, and I’m not interested in her idiocy.
Yesterday was the first time I’ve heard of “The Daily Show” or this person.

  4. That was pretty heart warming to see that Women, as she seen that her dog survive.Especially when she had lost everything.
My heart goes out to those who lost folks. To those left in the ruins of their lives.
as for the left we have come to understand all to well their ideas of Tolerance or compassion.

  5. Maybe I shouldn’t bother trying to understand liberal ‘logic’ as it is a futile endeavor; but can someone decipher her 2nd tweet:
“If Its not OK to YOU for me to combine news stories to point out hypocrisy AND Im not making fun of victims u shld Unfollow.”
The IRS has admitted it targeted conservative groups so what hypocrisy is she talking about?

  6. If she’d said that AIDS was God’s way of punishing homosexuals she’d be pulled apart in public. What she actually said ought to get her the same treatment. But it won’t.

  7. I guess that means the dog was a Democrat.
Given the chance, all conservatives would be eliminated, with prejudice, by the left.
They are murderous and have a pent up demand. The right may have to show them once again why it’s unwise for the lazy to pick on the ambitious. History is not their strong suit.

  8. The elderly Lady actually had to request the videographers to “Help Me, Help me” before there was any assistance. Probably someone walking down the devastated street heard her plea.
    The microphone and cameras still held firmly. Gosh I forgot! The prime objective; do not interfere with the alien people who live in the old “Okie” homeland. The coastal peoples must not show compassion or interfere with their lifestyle. Cheers;

  9. So Oklahoma was God taking out conservatives. Then what was New Orleans and Katrina all about?

  10. And Sandy – must have been a misfire, the only somewhat conservative in New York / New Jersey is Chris Christie and he’s more popular than ever.

  11. Oh Man that’s funny.
Wow that’s a real side spliiter; watched Lettermen last night and he has another comedy gold vignette called “Bonehead of the Day” or something extremely funny like that. Anyways Dave calls some Republican senator nobody from Mississippi or something “bonehead” for not passing anti second amendment legislation, which as you know is also comedy genius.
Great eh, they’re so funny it’s unbelievable.
Oh man let me get my breathe back.

  12. Sorry, are you, woman? Is that for mocking divine justice, or just that nobody laughed?
Be sure of this, woman—the kingdom of God is very near, and rest assured, among the delights the righteous will enjoy in heaven will be the sight of the wicked getting their just deserts down below. Trust me, your tears and screams and futile pleading for mercy while every demon in hell uses you as his plaything will be the laugh hit of every corner of paradise. If by God’s grace any of the children of Moore make it to heaven, they’ll be laughing the loudest.
When the Lord truly does become angry enough with you and your ilk to drive you from His sight—and you’ve just brought that day a little bit nearer—the trials of Job will be nothing compared to what He has in store for you.
…there came also another [servant of Job,] and said, Thy sons and thy daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother’s house: And, behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young men, and they are dead; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, and said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.
So what’s the joke? Bad things happen to good people? If you think that’s news to people who fear the Lord go read your Bible again, if you ever cracked one open in the first place. When bad things happen to them through no fault of their own, it’s an opportunity to thank God for his mercy, as Job did.
Such misfortunes are the exception. By far the largest share of man’s misery is the making of his own sin and folly. The sodomites, just for example, brought the AIDS plague on themselves through their sin. Instead of taking it as their cue to repent and turn away from sodomy, the sodomites have, with precious few exceptions, spent the last 35 years trying to avoid accepting the consequences of their actions, and forcing us to pay for it in their place.
Let’s hear you laugh at them for a change. They deserve it a lot more.

  13. Only a liberal could make fun of an unimaginable tragedy such as this. But the part of the civerage where the lady reunited with her dog…well that was heart-wrenching…I consider myself a pretty tough guy but I sure teared up at that moment.

  14. If you think the Boston Marathon bombers didn’t believe their God sent them but think a twister was sent to Oklahoma by your God you might be a liberal.

  15. I’m gonna cut this lady some slack, and put this under the “too soon” file.
If you consider that she was analogizing the tornado to the IRS, the joke is quite funny. Perhaps if Kathy Shaidle told the joke there would not be this misunderstanding(whining) from the Right; instead, the misunderstanding would have been on the Left, and the loons would be crying “bloody murder”.
The bottom line… we all lose in this political climate change.

  16. Found these comments glancing at her twitter:

If your twitter bio is written in all caps, you misquote the bible at least once a day.

She’s in damage control mode now though. Remember Michael Moore said something similar about 9/11.

  17. If Kathy Shaidle told a joke like that I’m betting she wouldn’t be snivelling for forgiveness while denying she meant anything bad on twitter. As if everyone is going to Lizzzz Whatsit for emergency relief donation ideas.

  18. I concur(that Kathy would stand by her comment); my point is, the satire was very Shaidle-like, which in context is funny.
She (the co-creator) is a comedian who’s paid to make wise-cracks like that. Her mistake, as you pointed-out, is apologizing for doing her job. THAT is likely the cost of being a liberal as you never know when to apologize.
Here is the problem (in this case) as I see it: the gal from the Daily Show committed a “random act of satirical journalism” and quite funnily pointed an accusing finger at the Obama Administration and the IRS. 1) this pisses off the Left, as it alludes to the Emperor having no clothing. 2) it pisses-off the Right, because they are too quick to shoot-off about “liberals… it’s not fair…blah blah blah” and therefore are too obtuse to see the random act of satirical journalism supporting our overall liberal bias argument.
As I said… my critic of the comment is it’s likely “too soon”, which is not really a criticism, as I tune into a segment on “The Burn” by comedian Jeff Ross for a segment called “Too Soon”. Highly recommended.
In a nutshell, there is a bunch of faux outrage coming from the Right regarding this story. JMO

  19. It looks like a lot of people have misunderstood the point behind this insensitive tweet.
What she was really trying to say is that it’s as ridiculous to accuse the IRS of targeting conservatives as it would be to blame God for targeting conservative Oklahoma with the tornado.
Not only tasteless but stupid: the IRS had already admitted to targeting conservatives and “apologized” for it. And it suddenly hit me that she sees Obama as some kind of god.
Oh, and she sees also sees those conservative targetings as some kind of totally random bad luck, like a string of bad weather events.
Also, Obama was disingenuous for saying IF when it was already an established fact.
Twitter is a disastrous social development. All those people trying to be Kathy-Kate edgy/witty but coming off as half-witted twits.

  20. OMG this woman is a clown. I mean, not the way she tries to be. Unintentionally.

    Occupy to the rescue, huzzah!
Me No Dhimmi, you’re dead right about the IRS thing. What a stupid…
I do get what you’re saying, Indy. My feeling about humour is that you can be as tasteless as you like providing you’re funny. I’ve scraped stuff off my shoe that was more talented than this woman.

  21. Beyond sorry???
The skank more than likely aborted her way to the top.
    She’s entitled I know.
Somehow that classroom of fetuses would still be missed, however….
