Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Gotta give them credit for booting the lawyers…. I’m waiting for the day, we have a serial killer who targets lawyers…I’ll cheer them on.
Is there a postal address so we can send them some better guns? I don’t have anything like what the U.S. government supplied the drug gangs, but I could perhaps help narrow the gap.
It is too bad that it has come to this in these little villages, but the way some of the police are carrying on here, we may not be too far from the same! The breakdown of law and order in this country, along with the apathy of the courts is frightening, not to mention the racial preferences now being seen in sentencing.
We may need to do something similar here. The RCMP have pretty much given up enforcing the criminal code preferring to spend their time on non-crimes or victimless crime. They consider social order among otherwise honest people as being more important than thefts or assaults.
Drunk driving, illegal parking, or speeding have no victim in 99.999 % of cases but immense resources are spent simply keeping people in the queue.
The Liberal Left has targeted law abiding citizens for police harassment and disarmament any which way they can while flooding our streets with foreign gangs, drugs, early released violent offenders, and sexual predators.
They know full well that law abiding gun owners pose no threat to society, they know full well that concerned law abiding gun owners stand in the way of tyranny – that is a big problem for the Left.
It’s time that good people started paying more attention.
The RCMP have become almost useless in enforcing the law.
About two weeks ago, my handicapped Son was out walking late at night,he does this just to keep in shape. He was accosted by a man carrying a bayonet and the guy threatened to kill him if he ever vandalized his property again. My Son said he had nothing to do with any vandalism and regularly walks that route at night.
The guy wouldn’t be dissuaded and started waving the bayonet in my Son’s face. My Son ran, called the RCMP,two cars showed up at our house. They questioned my Son,we showed them where the guy lived on Google maps. The cop gave my Son a business card and said they’d “let us know”. We never heard from them.
Two nights ago, my Son was walking at night, different route nowhere near the bayonet guy’s house. All of a sudden,a car pulled up, it was bayonet guy. He started screaming threats of death at my Son,who promptly ran home, the guy trying to follow in his car, attempted once to hit him with the car.
My Son cut through a yard and lost the pursuer. Again, my Son called the cops the next day and told them the bayonet guy (my Son gave them the case number) had threatened him again.
My Son asked what had happened when the first incident occurred, and the cop said that they hadn’t wanted to disturb the guy late at night,so they had NEVER spoken to him!
The cop said, okay,we’ll handle this, but we still haven’t heard from them if they’ve even spoken to the guy. We believe he’s a bit of a paranoid, and he thinks anyone he sees out walking at night is vandalizing his property. The police need to speak to the guy to determine if he’s mentally ill and a danger, but to date they haven’t even spoken to him.
Mt Son is NOT a tattooed, pierced drug-using skinhead. He has never broken a law beyond jaywalking in his entire life. He is very ordinary in appearance and quite well spoken. But, he can no longer go for his walks at night in our quiet residential neighbourhood for fear that this bayonet wielding lunatic will attack him.
“Maintiens le droit”,it says on the side of the RCMP cars that came to our house.I’m beginning to believe it’s just another cute saying ,like McDonald’s “I’m lovin’ it”, with no real meaning.
Welcome to our future, the Canadian just-us system and our neutered police have been pushing us to that end for years no.
When seconds count, the cops are minutes or hours away.
The court gives the criminal more respect than the victim.
We are not far from the mexican model, when the Hells Angels have better ethics than our police and lawyers, the justice system is dead.
Small wonder the police chiefs are still striving to disarm honest citizens.
They’re not your friends, they don’t want to help you, and if you bug them too much they’ll find something to charge you with. I’m sorry to hear about your son’s misadventures. In your position I’d either move, escort your son on his walks, or talk to the local newspaper. But avoiding any confrontation is the safest bet, because the police will treat you no differently, perhaps even worse, than the crazy bayonet-wielding guy when push comes to shove.
About 10 years ago I happened upon an overturned car in the ditch. The driver was alive, but he wouldn’t leave the car. Eventually the RCMP and ambulance showed up. Would you believe that none of them would come down into the ditch to help? There were 4-6 cops and 2 ambulance guys. They stood around up on the road for about a half hour until I managed to drag the guy out. I’ve had other negative encounters with the RCMP, but that one taught me the most about their culture.
“Maintiens le droit” It’s just in French because if it was in English, everyone would injure themselves laughing.
We still call the cops knowing nothing will happen. I took a video into the police station late at night because the cop was on night shift. You never see one on the street but there were a dozen in the police station honing their paperwork skills. I honestly don’t know why Alberta renewed the contract with the less than useless Mounties.
We tell the idiots the name of the guy robbing us in the video and they never even talked to him. If there were no cops he would be recovering from fractures sustain from incidental contact with an aluminum baseball bat.

That really sucks!
There’s nothing like dealing with a demented knife welding Liberal that isn’t mentally fit to legal to carry a gun.
I do know what I would do, but you on the other hand may want to collect your son and together go talk to the guy yourself. Possibly with a retained lawyer standing by your shoulder at his door.
They are busy in our Alberta town.
A while back, RCMP hauled this guy away,in handcuffs for the THIRD time in a year. Got evicted later.
