Best Canadian Blog

Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

This explains some things:
“Designer Miguel Caballero first developed his line in his native Colombia, where wealthy clients needed protection from Medellin drug cartel hit men, but didn’t like the bulky look of bulletproof vests.”
I dunno..
“Don’t try to buy a Caballero if you have a criminal record. Ben Greer of Caballero’s U.S. distributor, eagleproware.com, told the Daily News, “We don’t want to sell to the wrong type of individual.”
This could re-open the whole Biggie/Tupac debate…
Why would anyone need a ballistic vest in NY?
I thought guns were banned there.
I,m predicting a booming buisness in the near future.
The Cloths along with a gun accesories.
You can forget about these latest fashions out here in The Left Coast. They are banned along with those secret compartments we all have in our Hummers.
And the result: no gang violence out here. Oops; I lied, didn’t I?
Gunney, they’re only banned for us peasants and serfs. Those stalwart guardians of the peace who were noticably absent during the recent Vancouver riots are fully-equipped and armed to the teeth. No doubt to protect themselves against potential gun-play by persecuted motorists, cyclists and jaywalkers and the criminal element lurking in the local Timmy’s outlets. If I was a downtown Vancouver tax-payer I’d want my money back.
G-99, I think that brilliant B.C. law should be challenged in Court as a Charter challenge relating to safety and security of the person.
Why in any sane person’s mind the ordinary citizen should NOT be allowed passive protection is way beyond me understanding.
Guess I’m just not as smart as them politicians.
Was listening to talk show host Roy Green. Apparently Justice has made a giant leap forward. Our Imminent Suprimos have decided that we peasants may not have to retreat from an assailant in our own homes. Contrary to our supposed right to life and security, prior to this decision, joe citizen and taxpayer had to retreat until he was either another statistic or a hospital case (from an attacker or home invader).
Our elite forces however, can pound away on the ol’ 40 cal if any plausible threat is within 21 feet (7m).

All the lefty stars/ polititions wearing these cloths should be arrested for defending themselves like the rest of us are.
It hurts the criminals financial opportunities after all.
