Give me your tired, your poor, your fanatical…

Another day in the multicultural West:

Hollywood star Gerard Butler increased his security team at the Toronto Film Festival over the weekend after receiving death threats. The ‘300’ star has been promoting his role in controversial movie ‘Machine Gun Preacher,’ a true-life story based on a Hells Angel who rescues orphans in Muslim-dominant Sudan after converting to Christianity.

Not sure why that should be deemed controversial. Oh well.

Butler was forced to hire more bodyguards when he took to the red carpet at the Canadian festival after reportedly receiving a string of threatening messages…

    More security? Colour me shocked!

  2. I have three children that were orphaned by machete wielding fighters, they are christian, they are alive because they could climb trees very well and keep their mouths shut. Two are suffering from PTSS. Shocker that this sort of behaviour still exists after all these four years…..

  3. Again: just ask Theo van Gogh. Except, oops – they already got him.
By the way: EBD, awesome forum topics and moderation. Robert, ditto.

  4. Canada isn’t looking so good lately…this story, plus the Jew bashing and that horrible story of the mom getting no jail time for strangling her newborn…there’s lots that we have to work on people…we can’t ignore this stuff anymore. The left has their filthy hands on everything that’s wrong in this country. Sigh.

  5. Easily the; most interesting story to come out of this event, but it didn’t show up in the usual idiotic babbling that takes over the media around here every fall.

  6. Like his ‘character’ Leonidas who stood firm to invaders declaring ‘This is Sparta’ it is time for people to do likewise and declare this is Canada at any sign of dhimmitude.

  7. Mr. Butler must be wondering why the Canadian media has not reported on his troubles.
Someone should explain to him that if 9/11 happened in Canada, our media would have reported it as ” a bizarre day of random hijackings “.

  8. Just a promotion gimmick to advertise for his movie. You know if you try to make a scene these people will react to it they are primitive remember that , it is like a tiger if you run away when you see it it’s first natural instinct is to chase after you and pounce on you and rip you to shreds , however if you walk normally away i would think your chances are better….DO NOT QUOTE ME ON THAT LOL. I find a big ol shot gun will do the trick in any case.

  9. Gee I wonder who it could be that’s threatening Mr Butler? You sure can’t tell from the article, which just says it’s “some people”.

  10. Not sure why that should be deemed controversial
Its about Christians. Thats controversial enough these days. One saving orphans from Muslims would bring out the PC beast in the secular culture that has covinced itself to commit cultural suicide.

  11. Toronto the Good!!!! What happened???
Funny thing, if the story was about a Muslim convert who rescued orphans from the christians, it would be a CBC docudrama and a TV series.

  12. Ha! Maybe he should have hired some of his old buds in the HA to provide security, the way they did at Woodstock. Believe me the “hippies” at TIFF would mind their P’s and Q’s.
Plus I think it would be fun to watch an HA snap the neck of a skinny cowardly Sudanese Muslim terrorist, child rapist and woman beater. With his bare hands.
