    He would make a good president, but I think the sophisticrats in DC probably see him as too folksy … too real and not nearly wealthy enough to understand the finer points of life.

The only good thing comming out of the wiki-diki is the dirty slimy dealing regarding this communist Obongo’s arm twisting others to sign onto the globull warming SCAM. Elected people should start to become honest, it might be hard but it will pay off in the long run. If just one Taxpayer Parasite currently meeting in Cancun had the decency to stand up in the middle of the meetings and declare, like old Samarache, I Do Declare This Garbage to be The Greatest SCAM Ever, but thanks for the free Tequila.     All that demonstrates is that to Governor Mike, Canada is a back water and when the ‘state’ comedian (I believe his main revenue source is the tax-payer) shows up with a scam, he was treated with respect. Why should Mike bother to verify his idiotic Igloo reference anyway.

    Only in this modern area of political correctness can you become president of the USA and not have to produce your full birth certificate, as if the job were just a position at a hot dog stand.

  13. And I should add that when I applied for my first job after university I had to produce certified copies of every last one of my university transcripts.
    I never realized the job I was applying for carried more importance than being the president of the USA!

  15. I don’t know if Obama was born in Hawaii or not, but the fact that he continues to deny access to his complete birth certificate has to raise questions in even the most liberal -er- progressive-minded.
    I find it troubling that the constitution of the US proscribes that the president be born in the USA and subsequently lawmakers fail to insist upon proof.
    I was unaware that his university transcripts were not made public. Rather compounds the error, wot?

    I like MHuck(I’m an atheist) but I don’t think he’s electable. Perhaps I like him because by your categorizing we are both “simpletons” and bird of a feather and such. I suppose D.Cherry probably would like MH also using this logic.
    Seriously though, what I like about MH compared to say M.Romney is that MH’s views and position’s are derived from his values(IMO). His POV is always very concise and MH can always easily articulate and support his POV.MH is a man of convictions. Whereas MR on the other-hand (IMO) is constantly applying political calculus to all of his POVs. He doesn’t know his POV until he’s seen the polls so to speak.
    Now like I said, MH isn’t my likely choice for the GOP nominee because of my political calculus, but, I am looking for the aforementioned qualities(conviction) in a candidate and am dissuaded by those I’ve attributed to MRomney.

  24. @John, didn’t approve of the release of the Pan-Am bomber when it happened, still don’t like Assange and Wikileaks because he is only releasing his version of the “truth” that casts western democracies, particularily the USA in the least favourable light. Nothing leaked by him on the # of deaths of political disidents in China, Venezula, Korea, Iran is there? Wonder why? Because those countries control their version of the “truth” tighter than democratic countries. So the truth from me to you John, is push off, you aren’t baiting me any farther.

  26. I have never admired Huckabee for his theological insights or his intellectual prowess. (A week or so ago Allan Dershowitz cleaned Mike’s clock, ate his lunch and drove off in Mike’s car all without breaking a sweat on Huckabee’s show.) That being said Huckabee was the governor of Arkansas, he is an ordained minister, he hosts his own TV show and he did come up with a good joke. Oh and by the way joking about Oblamebush’s absent birth certificate does not make you a birther. It simply means you are point out the obvious as both Oblamebush’s birth certificate and college transcripts are missing from the public record.

    Not baiting you guy. You understand how this whole democracy thing works right? We try to debate each other. I’m merely pointing out that there is information for everyone in these leaks that should make everyone angry… well unless you are one of the people in power who would prefer to keep the public in the dark.
    This is not his version of the truth in any way. It’s information without context maybe, but all that means is that we take the next step to ask WTF?
    As for the US being cast in a bad light… that’s there own fault for doing all this skeevy sh!t. And the other nations you mentioned… just because there haven’t been leaks yet doesn’t mean that wikileaks won’t leak them. We might have seen far more come out if the global powers didn’t suddenly all cooperate to pull it down.
