American Youth: Not Deserving Enough!

Now is the time at SDA when we juxtapose!
Time, Jan. 4, 2008The youth appeal of Barack Obama was evident in the big crowds he drew as he campaigned across Iowa. There were a lot of fresh faces in those audiences, and many of them left wearing one of his extremely cool t-shirts.
Kansas City Star, Aug.27, 2010The share of young people aged 16 to 24 who were employed this summer fell to 48.9 percent — the lowest rate on record since 1948.

  1. That unemployment is entirely Bush’s fault, the Congressional Republicans’ fault, the Evil Capitalists’ fault, Global Warming’s fault, racist Tea Partiers’ fault, not, Allah forbid!, the fault of His Obamaness.

  2. The gullibility of youth . . . not wasted on anyone but them.
So easily charmed by a cool talking, cool walking, all promises, sunshine & shinola speech.
They will grow up having to pay for Obozonomics, paying like indentured servants.
    Have fun kiddies.

  3. Not to worry, there is a fresh generation of ignorant children right behind them for the next demagogue to exploit.

  4. Little did we know that the screaming, shrieking, fainting Beatles fans would evolve into such an ignorant, irresponsible voting block

  5. All of the above. You could be just as easy be talking about Trudeau.
What is really scary for Canadians though, is that there is a Trudeau offspring waiting in the wings to pull the same thing again.

  6. Perhaps this explains the lefty’s desperate, panicked response to Sarah Palin. They feared a similar effect on males……based on their own shallow judgement…..they think everybody thinks/reacts like them.

When I was a kid in in the early 80’s, the recession the adults were experiencing was a full blown depression for us kids. We fought like maniacs for crappy jobs at McDonald’s and if I recall, about 37% of us didn’t have jobs at all. I thought THAT was bad; but Obutthole has them at over 50%?
I can’t laugh at that. Kids are stupid; they can’t be blamed for not being economically literate. It’s their Obamarrhoid parents that should be bearing the brunt of this, not the kids.

  8. “Economics? I thought yuz was talken like I had to improve the Ebonics! So leave me alone, I gotsta make this par”.

  9. And yet, the Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking Poll shows that dislike of the Obamatron has more or less flat-lined in the -15 to -20 range. One would think (I hate to use the word “Hope”) that with the rapidly growing number of negative reports on the antics of the Oprez, that overall support for him would be waning steadily. I have to guess that this is related to the incredible depth of American’s talent for forgiveness.

15 – 20 year old range, sounds like the teachers and proffs are working double duty on the mind molding these days.

  11. Socialism appeals to the young and those who have nothing and would like what you have, and want you to give it to them.
When the young begin to have things, they become conservatives.
It is a matter of time.

  12. I have never called myself a “Reagan Democrat,” I have always called myself a “Carter Republican.” I have a feeling that we are going to be looking at a new generation of “Obama Republicans” who “won’t be fooled again.”

  13. Eewwooo,
I didn’t want to work anyway, my parents will have to give me more money. But did you hear about Paris Hilton and the cocaine bust? I hope she doesn’t have to go to jail. They make you wear awful clothes in there.

  14. sylvanguy said “When the young begin to have things, they become conservatives”. Right, this reminds of a very successful local businessman who supported the NDP when he was young and starting off, later supported the Liberals and graduated to Conservative when his business became highly successful.

  15. Like Trudeau, Obama has the poison ivy touch.
Where he turns his gaze, the thing withers & dies.
What he touches, causes the spoor of failure to rot within.
In Obamas world, most of those youth should be on an abortionists floor. Overpopulation you know.

Try reading Kakola’s post again. You missed it completely.

Maybe that will change soon, kakola? ;^)

Rassmussen (check the spelling!) subtracts the number of people who “STRONGLY DISAPPROVE” of Obama from the number of people who “STRONGLY APPROVE”. If the number is positive, more people like him than dislike him. If the number is negative, more people dislike him than like him. What Kaka was saying is that this net number, which was positive when Obama was elected, has now bottomed out in the -15 to -20 range; it has absolutely nothing to do with age.
And, actually, today the number is -14, not because more people approve, but fewer people strongly disapprove of his performance. Could just be sampling error.
    Capiche?

    “Capiche?”
No not really. Unless I’m still mistaken, it reads to me that Obambas spiraling numbers have stagnated at the youth level, when they should still be dropping.
As youth unemployment rises, while further education and future job prospects fade there should be increased discourse among the youth but for some reason there is not. It has leveled off.

  20. K99:
So if the Rassmussen poll showed that Obama’s approval was in the -1 to -5 range, you’d assume this means preschoolers disapprove of him?
Why don’t you visit the Rassmussen site and read about the poll? Since it polls LIKELY VOTERS, all of whom have to be over 18, how you can read into the original comment that this has anything to do with 15 year olds is beyond me.

Sqatchy …. these are the grand children of those idiots.
