Great Moments In Political Messaging

“Why would you hand the keys to the car back to the same guys whose policies drove the economy into the ditch and then walked away from the scene of the accident?
Polls have opened. And go here for Steyn’s take.
Updates: In a watershed moment for post-2009 Democrats, the first mention of “blame” that excludes the word “Bush”. And speaking of monkey wrenches, the media wing of the Democratic machine has its own problems.

  1. Right you are Smith, it’s that or dodge the debris in s..u..p..e..r s..l..o..w m..o

  2. Actually, i guess an umbrella is more suitable considering the debris will be falling down from the high road.

  3. The Coakley campaign, such as it is, must be one with the Globe. They sent out a press release stating they had reports of voting irregularities, in that there were ballots pre-selected from Brown.
The only problem? The press release was dated yesterday……..
Alla over at Hotair has it screenshotted and the page itself cached.

  4. The republic was hijacked a year ago. Hopefully our neighbours to the south have started the process of reclaiming it.
    Is Acorn involved?

The other thought that occurs is they might be a lot like the giant jelly fish Japanese fishermen find befouling their nets recently. The fishermen hack them up hoping to put an end to the scourge only to find it causes the pieces to multiply enormously.
btw i liked your matrix allusion as u know i would.

  6. Am I to understand that the policies walked away from the accident?
Or did they hobble away cursing their broken legs?

“I’d rather be in a truck with Scott Brown than a car with Ted Kennedy.”
    Brilliant!

  8. I wonder if Mark Steyn remembers that Martha Coakley (the Dem) was instrumental in the Mass. 80s child molestation prosecuting witch hunt that propelled her career and destroyed a lot of innocent lives.
The period she was involved in prosecuting daycare workers with nothing but testimony from under 5 children, gave rise to the term “false memory syndrome” – which is a nice way of saying social worker zealots and ambitious DAs putting fraudulent accusatory stories in children’s mouths then prosecuting on it – for fame and fortune.
Coakley is calculating cold self serving politically ambitious trash and a lot of Mass. voters know it.

“And you still think the West is morally superior to Soviet Union?
I don’t recall ever having said this to you but, ABSOLUTELY!
The US hasn’t murdered 30 million of its citizens through torture, police beatings starvation, politically-motivated liquidation and forced labor camps ….although I do think BO and his Chicago Marxists are certainly capable of it should a large backlash to his looting and unconstitutional legislating break out.
