Former President George W. Bush and his wife, Laura, visited wounded soldiers and their families near the site of the worst mass shooting on an Army post in the United States.
The Bushes made their private visit to Fort Hood’s Darnall Army Medical Center on Friday night. Bush spokesman David Sherzer said in an e-mail that the couple thanked Fort Hood’s military leaders and hospital staff for the “amazing care they are providing.”
… And Barack announces to the nation the tragedy by first using the term “shout out” then confusing the medal of honor and medal of freedom. I hope Barack wins a medal of honor so he knows the difference.

The events of 9-11 unified the nation and in only a few years the blaming and seething hatred from the left poisoned the well driving a wedge through the heart of the country at the exact time when Americans should have been coming together to rediscover what really makes America Great.
Sacrifice and hard work is what made America and Americans great, not the sacrifice of freedoms we see today. Since World War II the politics and the partisan blame game have castrated patriotism turning it into a notion that Love of Country is guaged only by if the World loves America.
The left have turned the work ethic into the entitlement demand, turned freedoms into catalysts for regulation and fostered the insane notion that capitalism needs a road map.
Americans want the Government to cheer for them and give them a level field on which to compete, not run the race for them or to pick them up when they fall. Failures and setbacks used to be called character lessons, now they are simply a reason to utter the phrase “we cannot ever let this happen again” and usher in some new larger Government intervention.
On the one hand, we have class. On the other, boorishness and cold remove. I suspect the good people here know who is guilty of the latter.

The one shooting incidident in the crowded mall in Salt Lake City, was interdicted by an armed licenced CC…because the mall was NOT a “gun free zone”.
OBOZO clearly illustrated what a shallow, empty individual he is by in effect minimalizing the event.
