Good evening ladies and gentlemen, welcome to SDA Late Nite
Radio. Tonight, for your delectation, here are Stéphane Grappelli
and Yehudi Menuhin performing Tango Tzigane Jalousie ¤
(3:54), by the Danish composer Jacob Thune Hansen Gade.
Your Reader Tips are, as always, welcome in the comments.

I was always a huge Stephane Grappelli fan and about 30 years ago him and Yehudi Menuhin were doing their first North American show together. It was a pretty big deal and they held closed rehearsals with the symphony most of the afternoon. My connections allowed me to sit in the 8th row dead center and watch the rehearsals. It was very very cool. Sitting in an empty concert hall with 2 of the greatest violinists in the world performing to only me. Not to mention being able to have informal chats with them during the whole process.

“Far offstage, a shrill chorus of climate-change deniers keeps up its noise, but no government in the world takes note of them, to their furious consternation.” Jeffrey Simpson
That “noise” you hear Jeff, is the sound of two Canadians thouroughly and officially breaking the IPCC’s hockey stick (the centre piece of the UN’s global warming hoax).
And Anthony Watts documenting how James Hansen and gang move the weather stations near heat sources, BBQs and vehicle radiators and exhaust fans.
It is the sound of Albert Gore deleting lies from his web site – such as, there will be more hurricanes and CO2 leads temperature and the Mediaevil Warm Period never existed and ..
It is the sound of the BBC finally questioning the whole scam.
It is the sound of the gavel in Britain where a court ruling instructs school children to be told before hand that Gores film is political propaganda because it contains 35 glaring errors.
I could go on, but I think you get the picture. Time to get out of your little MSM cubicle.
Oh, and are you happy your Premier is taking Your province down the tubes !? The “green” tubes.

You are recognized as a senate member of this prestigious blog nominated for the Nobel prize
in Literature, I am sure. I am a newcomer and a “dai bogshe” kind of guy, so, I kind of overlook fine points of conversing in print. I had my disinterested wife read your comments on some topic(she used to a secretary). Her only comment was “you have to double space after period. Clean it up please.

I always preferred Grappelli’s work with other types of strings, Grisman, in particular, later, during his revival. Just the same, I wouldn’t part with my “Hot Club” 78’s for anything. Click on my name below for the live snippet of this gypsy triptych from that album. I can’t find a good full set, yet.

Sorry! I guess double spacing is not a consideration in Blog conversations.
Who should my wife call to fix this?
“Canadian connection to planned Mohammed cartoon magazine terrorist attack” — So next it will be cries from the Liberals about why we are not bringing poor Hussain Rana back to Canada for a fair trial.
My husband made a funny graphic for the upcoming November 6th pro-niqab protest in Toronto. If you’re interested, you should be able to see it by clicking on my nic.
A 13 year old boy, Evan Frustaglio, died his week of the H1N1 flu. It was a fast and severe attack. Evan was an otherwise healthy young lad with no serious health history. The death was stunning to all.
Another Ontario youth, an adolescent woman, died of the same thing last week before.
Now….. all you speudo doctors who want to sow fear in the hearts of the masses about the dangers of the vaccine, what say you now?
I may be a complete idiot but I’m thinking that Evan’s parents would be the first to tell you to get your kids innoculated.
Pay no attention to the fear mongerers and on this issue there are several who blog here.
Just now on CTV news: To Lloyd Robertson, interviewing Robert Fife, it is reported that Peter Donolo is hired to head staff.
To which Lloyd Robertson, like a good liberal, openly congratulates Donolo for the new job.
Melinda. I remember when Grappelli started his collaboration with Grisman. King of the Gypsies sound track I think. I had some of their other projects together as well. My favourite stuff has to be with Django though. I think I have everything they did together. I started to get worn down by Grisman, Rice, etc after a while. I think they started getting to clever for their own good. I prefer it when they get back to playing bluegrass again.
Donolo just made it ‘official’. He never left the pack, just worked from he sidelines.
It might be fun to juxtapose this:

What they don’t understand is the Premier is voted in by popular vote no matter what party they belong too. All you pay is 5 bucks for a party card. Hence the reason we don’t change parties until they become irredeemably corrupt.
When a premier forgets who voted them in & goes with their Party instead of the People, they get the boot. than we start with a new Party.

Alberta’s Wildrose is growing like a weed
It’s just short of incredible that Alberta Premier Ed Stelmach won’t simply sail through an upcoming leadership review. After all, only 18 months ago he won 72 out of 83 seats for the Alberta Progressive Conservatives thus ensuring another four years for the 37-year-old dynasty.

Globe, last Saturday.
Hydro-Quebec may take over New Brunswick Power, which is responsible for 40% of its province’s debt.
The problem is that any power generated in Newfoundland, Nova Scotia or P.E.I. would have to go through either Quebec or New Brunswick, which would mean through Hydro-Quebec.
The Liberal premier of New Brunswick promised to keep the utility in public hands during the last election campaign. I’d bet he didn’t say this meant the Quebec public, however.
In a free market, this problem would not arise because there would not be a monopoly on power transmission through one province or another.
The story also says, “Quebec would get greater access to the New Brunswick market and the transmission corridor to major U.S. markets – a significant benefit given Hydro-Quebec’s expansion plans and the slump in electricity demand in North America”.
A private company would probably have more sense than to embark on an expansion plan during a slump in demand.
Toronto Star, Monday.
Kim Justin-Il hopes a new book about his dad, Pierre Trudeau, will help to remind Canadians that politics can be about “big values and big visions”.
Not to mention the concomitant Big Government and Big Debt. The last thing a rational person should do is to entrust 50% of his income to elitist wannabes who talk in vague, windy phrases like the above (Ken Dryden, for example).
Kim Justin-Il: “If there’s anything I carry forward from my father it’s a focus on strength of values, strength of principles …”
Let us know when you figure out what those values and principles are, because the rest of the country sure as hell has no idea.

Ontario premier Dalton McGuinty will begin making good on the signature education policy of his second term (all-day kindergarten for 4-and-5-year-olds) by backtracking on the signature education policy of his first term (smaller class sizes for lower grades).
However, some or all of the classes will have both a teacher and an early childhood educator, making each class cost over $100,000.
Ontario’s deficit is over $24 billion this year …

Most of Indonesia still lives up to its reputation for a moderate, easygoing brand of Islam, and Islamist parties suffered heavy losses in this year’s national elections. There are about two million kids between the ages of ten to fourteen living in Canada. Since he died on Monday, you posted on Thursday, perhaps you are privy to the results of the autopsy? Oh by the way did you know he was asthmatic? His father denies it but there is no denying the puffers he was prescibed. What else will the H1N1 fearmongers try to coverup?
By the way, why wouldn’t you perform an autopsy on the body of an otherwise healthy young man?
“The coroner’s office told Mr. Frustaglio that an autopsy will not be conducted on his son’s body.”

Thanks for the clip, Vito.
Reminds of the time I was going with a friend to have lunch at a downtown restaurant. When we got there, I saw that they had posted their menu in the window. So I couldn’t resist. I said to my friend: “Knock! Knock!”
He bit: “Who’s there?”
“Yehudi Menuhin.”
“Yehudi Menuhin who?”
And I pointed to the menu in the window and shouted with delight: “Yehudi Menuhin the window!”
“So next it will be cries from the Liberals about why we are not bringing poor Hussain Rana back to Canada for a fair trial.”
I’m confused, is that “sarc on” or “sarc off”?
Forget it:(
haha – An auyopsy is held to determine the cause of death. The lad died from complications arising out of the H1N1 flu virus. This they know for sure. Perhaps you’d like to call the coroner’s office and advise him or her as to why he should conduct an autopsy anyway. Maybe there is a good reas0n they haven’t thought of.
And at the same time maybe you could enlighten the rest of us.
The medical officer stated that Evan suffered from mild asthma. The father says it isn’t so. My vote goes with the father. Or maybe you’re saying the father is a liar. Just what are you saying, haha?

Genuine Progress Index Atlantic Report is a “Political Advocacy Group” produced by Dr Ronald Coleman (History & UN speech writer), Janet Rhymes (BEd, MA) Oxfam Public Engagement, Advocacy and Champaign Team. They are not Economists or Health Experts The report is Junk .

The idea that anyone would commission (pay) this group to write/judge that group’s own Anti-Tobacco agenda, with bogus economic analysis by unqualified authors, becomes hilarious until you realize that the Health Organization “Canadian Cancer Society” has used money donated for Health research to fund a Political Advocacy Group.
