  1. I am calling this now- after a month in the White House, the voters will see how inept and corrupt Obama is. Tax Day will kill them. He won’t last one hundred days (he’ll try to hang on, though). Voters will rue the day they fell for his lies.

  2. Ok, now that lefty heart are about to be broken when the big-O turns out to be just another slick lawyer-politician, can we at least put Bush Derangement Syndrome behind us?
Oh, and I would bet that even in the face of the corrupt Chicago machine, 14 states of ACORN voter fraud indictment, an atrociously biased and lying press that you will not hear 4 years of “stolen election” garbage. McCain lost. Just like Kerry and Gore. We’ll take it much better than you leftards.
As for Obama, I’d be scared about the protectionism and socialism if I wasn’t aware of the nature of politicians. They lie to get elected. Obama will be no scarier than Clinton or Bush Sr or Wilson. The only reason Obama looks different is because he follows Bush jr. In fact, Obama NEEDED Bush. Obama is no one without Bush to contrast himself with.
In short, conservatives need not fear an Obama presidency. Nothing will change. The downside for leftards, is that nothing will change…
I look forward to less hysteria (there is always hysteria when the leftards don’t get their way.) I look forward to less excuses for failure by poor blacks (they’ll be like poor whites soon – their failures can be their own.)
Congrats on your win Obama. You certainly have your work cut out for you. Usually it’s a conservative eating the mess made by leftards. This time, you get to clean up W’s mess. I’m sure the media, etc will be kinder to you than they were to the conservatives like Harris, Reagan, Thatcher, Mulroney, etc.

  3. With the chaos of defeat comes golden opportunities for future victory.
Time for conservatives in America to realize the “long march through the institutions” can work for both sides, so can civil disobedience (ok, not hard core, but certainly a protest or two couldn’t hurt???). They’re now a bit more free than they have been in a very long time, and they now have gotten a good reckoning of their opponent’s style — time and good cover to take advantage of it.
I’m not happy with who won our presidency, but the lack of a filibuster proof congress greatly assuages my fears, so did the closeness of the popular vote (both for presidency and in the state and local elections, the Dems did not get their wishes by a long shot) — the SCOTUS nominations, the far left policies, the muzzling of dissent, the in the tank media…all of it will not be the steamroller the libs wished for.
And Obama, if he is self interested (which I believe he is) will end up betraying a lot of his most fanatic supporters with a hard turn towards center. Whatever else, he doesn’t dare hope to drive sudden and drastic change into American society, and if he doesn’t produce the moon and the stars in the next two years (which I would seriously doubt as it is so unrealistic an expectation), then I highly doubt the next two will give him a chance.

  4. Personaly the more Conservative Americans that move here the better. That goes for Europians, Africans, Chinese,East Indians, South Americans as well. You just have to dispise being owned by government or other men. That & a love of real freedom with liberty.

  5. “One very serious issue is the $650M Obama raised … where did it all come from , and who is owing ?”
According to a Fox News report, $88 million of Obam’a $650 billion campaign money – 13.5% – came from MoveOn.org, the George Soros financed website.
They’ll be pushing hard to have Barak move(on) to the far left and will be sorely pi*^ed if he does not give them the expected return on their investment.
