  1. As an ex foster parent I found it much easier to work with the social workers after NDP was thrown out here in BC. Under the NDP the foster kids were like the male muslims, their word was worth 4 (females)foster parents. Look what happened to the Klassens in Saskatchewan.

  2. Remember in the Saskatchewan Provincial election the UNIONS said they are the moral and more responsible handlers of liquer sales, better stewards of the sale of liquer than private enterprise? How come the Union never stepped up and accepted ‘their’ responsibility for their part (selling booze) to that father whose kids died in a winter storm?

  3. it’s like i was told a hundred years ago….”funny thing about socialists…they all live in the biggest house they can afford”.

Or can scam and get subsidized off the taxpayer. Remember Taliban Jack and Chow-chow’s low housing cost???
But I guess maybe Torontards where just happy there were two less bums off the streets?

  5. It is ‘reins’ not ‘reigns’ – Kings/Queens reign (Past Participle), government public servants ‘hold the reins’ (plural for the noun rein – meaning leather straps attached to the horses bit which is attached to a bridle, reins are HELD in the hand of the driver)of power if they are in the driver’s seat – we don’t have horses anymore but that is where the term ‘holding the reins of government/power originated. The driver of a team (of horses/mules etc.) holds the REINS; thus the power. Control over the team – IF the driver knows how to drive! Sheesh!

  6. When I lived in Regina between 77 and 82 I recall that there was an SGEU strike….
The government saved so much money during the months they were out there was ZERO reason to settle.
SGEU proving that the public service is not worth the paper their pay stubs are printed on.

  7. Surprise. A public service union using the weakest in society as pawns for their own political gain.
    Nothing new here.

  8. Oh, Jema 54 – thanks so much for that. I may now be able to sleep. Now I need for you to clear up another one of those word issues for me – what is the difference between “prostate and prostrate”? Man, I always get those wrong and I know that there are alot of people (persons??) just like me who would love to have someone go into minute detail about the difference between the two. Can’t wait for your reply.
