I couldn’t believe CNN did this. After it was over, The Hot Little Number I Call Mrs. Harry and I stared at each other, jaws open, like we were watching Bigfoot pedal by on a unicycle.

  1. Even the media will turn on a democrat once they realize they’ve been played for a fool.
    If the democrat is going to lie to the public, they have to collude with the media, not try to fool the media.

  7. CNN has done their duty to report what is a very newsworthy fact. However, I believe you’ll now see the story get buried so far down in their website that it will not hit the consciousness of most Americans.

  11. The Ayers connection is very relevant. Obama can say what he likes, but he obviously felt perfectly comfortable working with Ayers over the years which speaks volumes.
    The most disturbing thing about Obama and his wife is that they seem quite comfortable in the company of American-hating people. And such haters seem to flock to them readily.
    It’s one thing for a person to suggest that their country could do this or that better. But that’s very different from hating your country.
    I think Obama and his wife view America simply as a vehicle that will enable them to get to a position of power. They don’t really have much love for their country. This is in the same vain as the Clintons, only I think much worse.
    When you consider how much the rest of the world is gloating at the prospect of America falling into ruin, it’s hardly the time to have a leader who is at best indifferent to such gloating.
    I think Obama is covering his real views well, and many ordinary Americans will be shocked when they see the true man if he gets into power.

    1) his friends,
    2) his politics (which he has been trying to hide)
    3) his penchant for attempting to strong-arm anyone how threatens him in a way that would have the media throwing words like “police state” and “fascist” around if it was bush
    4) his supporters don’t know a thing about him. He’s an idea, a promise – not a human being.
    People don’t elect dreams. They elect human beings. You’d think the leftards and “swing voters” (aka retards) would want to know ANYTHING about the man and his platform.
    The next time you hear some crank droning on about Obama, ask him/her/it what Obama’s platform is on ANY issue. They won’t have a clue. That isn’t healthy in a democracy.

  14. Personally, I have a difficult time listening to Cooper because of his poor diction. He swallows way too many ends of words.
    I feel like telling him that “Sarah” is a two syllable word – he pronounces it “Sir Palin”

    It would have been pretty hard for Alice Palmer to have introduced Obama at the Ayers residence when, as CNN learned, Palmer says that she “in no way” organized Obama’s coming out, but rather “was invited and attended briefly.” The Alice Palmer defense is a strange one anyway, considering she was an honest-to-goodness Communist who attended Soviet organized meetings behind the Iron Curtian as late as the 1980s. But, I guess when you enter public life on the shoulders of a famous terrorist, a card-carrying Red looks like a Girl Scout coming to your rescue.

  16. I turned on the tube and Ms. Walters was looking all horrified about the turn things are taking. First she blasted O’s people about Keating Five. Then she lashed at McCain for Ayers. Then they started bashing McCain. Don’t blame me, I never knew it was on but I know why I don’t watch TV.

  17. And then there’s the matter of the Annenburg Challenge, under Barak Obama’s chairmanship, granting mega-bucks to the Ayers’ personal projects (The Peace School, based on UN policies and agendas and the Children and Family Justice Centre where Bill Ayers’ wife Bernadette Dorn works).
    Money was also channelled to an African-American Studies project and to Jeremiah Wright’s church which Obama and his family attended for 20 years.
    ‘Definitely a trust issue here, seeing as Obama has done everything he can to distance himself from Bill Ayers with whom, as it turns out, he had quite a close and ongoing relationship while they served for years on the Annenberg Challenge Foundation.
    Anita Dunn, an Obama senior policy advisor, while interviewed by CNN, couldn’t stop her eyes from blinking–a sure-fire sign of lying through her teeth.
    Barak Obama is trying to come across as lily-white in this relationship and I’m afraid it’s not going to work.
    I’m just surprised that CNN was so forthcoming with the facts about the Obama/Ayers situtaion. As others have pointed out, the Clintons must have something to do with it.

  18. The Ayer’s think is relevant for one reason, and it is an important one. Obama LIED about it. “Just some guy in the neighborhood.”
    Obama lies as easily as he breathes. He LIED about McCain and regulation of the toxic twins Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac, saying that McCain opposed regulating them and he supported it, which any search of the record will show is the exact opposite of the truth.
    He lied that the bill he supported in the IL state legislature didn’t support sex ed for Kindergarteners. It explicitly did, and not to teach them about sexual predators either, but to teach them about spreading STDs.
    Obama has lied so much it is hard to keep track. If he gets elected, I think he will become universally hated.

Obama had a campaign web site that was supposed to provide the “truth” to combat “swift boating” and their response to this early on was based on the “just some guy in the neighborhood” line which was a lie, so the way they combat “swift boating” which is telling some truth that the Democrats don’t want people to hear, is to unabashedly lie.
    I too wonder if the media is going to feel a little dirty after this. I don’t think they are all hard core committed political operatives who know that “politics ain’t beanbag” and lying and covering up are all part of the game. I wonder if some of them will come around. Remember Andrea Mitchell earnestly trying to understand Obama’s position on Iraq, when it made no sense to anyone?

  21. The Weathermen Underground was a violent, radical, communist movement with the stated goal of overthrowing the government of the United States of America.
    Marx said that eventually capitalism would run its course and disappear. However, he went on to say that for those who could not wait for this eventuality, communism could be pushed through by violent revolution.
    The Weathermen Underground was an outgrowth of Student for a Democratic Society. It was the violent wing that was committed to pushing the communist agenda via violent revolution.
    The Weather Underground only had a few members who know the locations of violent communist cell group so if one got shut down the others could continue their reign of terror.
    Bill Ayers and Bernadette Dorhn were paid up members whose objective was the violent overthrow of the US government.
    CNN made it sound as if the Weathermen were only protesting the war in Vietnam. This is to vastly understate their purpose. This all grew out of the radical student body politics of the 1960s, and their objective was nothing less thant the installation of a communist regime into the US.
    While Senator McCain, and I, and many others, some of whom post on this site were in Vietnam fighting against communist movements, Bill Ayers was Bernadette Dorhn, and the Weathermen Underground were at home trying to overthrow the nation.
    Hussein Obama is a direct intellectual heir to these people.

    Unlike, say, Todd Palin, who was a member of the Alaska Independence Party, where Sarah Palin addressed their convention, THIS YEAR.
    The founder of the AIP was a man named Joe Vogler. Here’s what he had to say in a 1991 interview, only a few years before Palin attended its convention: “The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government.”
    He also said this: “And I won’t be buried under their damn flag. I’ll be buried in Dawson. And when Alaska is an independent nation they can bring my bones home.”
    Vogler has also said: “I’m an Alaskan, not an American. I’ve got no use for America or her damned institutions.”

    1) Has Volger blown anything up? Bill Ayers did.
    2) If Obama didn’t know that Bill Ayers was a terrorist, he must be pretty stupid.
    Either he did know Ayers was a terrorist and it didn’t matter to him or he thought it was OK–either way, he LIED–OR he actually didn’t know Ayers was a terrorist which means that he didn’t do his homework–which makes him dangerous in the position of POTUS.
    There are a lot of things about Barak Obama that are in the shadows, because that’s where he wants them to be. It’s good to see that the McCain-Palin ticket is bringing them front and centre.

    Now that everybody knows the first thing was a lie, Obama says that he “never knew Ayers was a terrorist.” Now why would it matter whether Obama knew that “some guy who lived in the neighborhood” was a terrorist?
    Did Ayers not consult Obama about his campaign launch party? Did he just send him an invitation like any other invited guest? Obama is a LIAR manny, and no amount of astroturf mud is going to change that.
    Why don’t you go back to saying that McCain was lying about Obama’s support for sex ed for five year olds? Oh, you can’t, because Obama LIED about that too.
    Why don’t you give some references for Obama’s claim that he supported more stringent regulation of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac? While “Bush McCain” opposed him at ever turn? Uh, you can’t because the truth is the exact opposite of what Obama the LIAR said.

    This lame guilt by association tactic by Palin/McCain is but a measure of their desperation.
    But a question. If Palin is so wonderful and suited for the job, why is she afraid to do any one to one media besides Fixed News puff pieces?

  30. Michelle Obama says “for the first time I am proud of my country” and the right wing rides that for all it’s worth. They accuse her of not loving her country.
    The evidence that Manny brings on Palin and Volger and you guys dismiss it!!.
    What is the rational for not having the exact same reaction as Michelle’s single statement?
    The double standard is so obvious I dont know why you even bother Manny.
