Verily, it is said – there is nothing that the O-Child can’t do!

The Child was blessed in looks and intellect. Scion of a simple family, offspring of a miraculous union, grandson of a typical white person and an African peasant. And yea, as he grew, the Child walked in the path of righteousness, with only the occasional detour into the odd weed and a little blow.
When he was twelve years old, they found him in the temple in the City of Chicago, arguing the finer points of community organisation with the Prophet Jeremiah and the Elders. And the Elders were astonished at what they heard and said among themselves: “Verily, who is this Child that he opens our hearts and minds to the audacity of hope?”

  1. Let’s hope his supporters are able to see it’s satire; i think it reflects their beliefs.

  2. Personally I think he fits the Monty Python classic “The Life of Brian” mold better myself.
    I haven’t seen this much girlish behavior by journalists of all genders since the Beatles as a kid. Are most male Journalists like actors gay now?
    It looks like a sacred procession of reporters who have found there new Prophet, stepford like prostrating themselves before this Idol of “All that is Progressive”.
    Soon the O arm bands will appear spontaneously as the great leader musters his followers by his visions of tomorrows hope. Himself!

  8. Excellent satire, but He is The One! In fact, on June 3, 2008, The Messiah, The Most Merciful Lord Barack Obama prophesied on the occasion of His Glorious Victory over the earthly mortal, Hillary Clinton:

    Mary, he won’t. Obama and the media are mirror reflections of each other – both frivolous, both stupid, they both live off of scripts that are useless to them 24 hours later.
    How many Americans are out there to ward off this disaster I haven’t a clue. Leave it to the Republicans, it’s pure hubris, to have sealed and delivered prematurely a very inarticulate man, one that simply can’t play the media game with any real skill.

  11. I would like to be around for the live shot of him putting his arm around the Queen (of England). He’s groped nearly every other leader on his tour so far. Even at 80+, I expect Liz could twist it off and beat him over the head with it.
    Obama is ludicrously naive. The more astute politicos of the world would have him cleaning toilets in no time flat, thanking them for the opportunity. But then, isn’t that his motto, “one world, one toilet?”
    And what’s with the logo that everyone is wearing like brownshirts? Thinks he’s going to replace the Great Seal?

    I was forced to lick Macallan 15 year old off the monitor. Any of you ever had to do that?

    The fainting and screaming of pubescent females in that event scenario were plants designed to media-hype the coming (and later transformed to meme status) pop music fad. I thought everyone knew that.

    of the EU so no one has expected this forerunner born of a black man and white woman living in the U.S. But, we can see what is to come. And it is eerie.

  20. Solders view of the exalted:
    As you know I am not a very political person.
    I just wanted to pass along that Senator Obama came to Bagram Afghanistan
    for about an hour on his visit to “The War Zone”. I wanted to share with you
    what happened.
    He got off the plane and got into a bullet proof vehicle, got to the area to
    meet
    with the Major General (2 Star) who is the commander here at Bagram.
    As the Soldiers were lined up to shake his hand he blew them off and didn’t
    say a word as he went into the conference room to meet the General.
    As he finished, the vehicles took him to the ClamShell (pretty much a big
    top
    tent that military personnel can play basketball or work out in with
    weights)
    so he could take his publicity pictures playing basketball.
    He again shunned the opportunity to talk to Soldiers to thank them for their
    service. So really he was just here to make a showing for the American’s
    back home …….that he is their candidate for President.
    I think that if you are going to make an effort to come all the way over
    here
    you would thank those that are providing the freedom that they are providing
    for you.
    I swear we got more thanks from the NBA Basketball Players or the
    Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders than from one of the Senators, who wants to
    be the President of the United States . I just don’t understand how
    anyone would want him to be our Commander-and-Chief. It was almost
    that he was scared to be around those that provide the freedom for him
    and our great country. If this is blunt and to the point I am sorry
    but I wanted you all to know what kind of caliber of person he really
    is.
    What you see in the news is all fake.
