Everything I know about our planet, I lurned* from a science magazine;
“…solar physicists aren’t like weather forecasters; They can’t predict the future.”
Hey, you can’t change what you can’t predict!
(*And timely, too.)

Every sensible person knows that the sun has absolutely nothing to do with the climate here on earth, unless:
1) you’re a leftie
2) you’re a hypocrite [case 1) covered by default]
3) you can somehow spin it that it actually supports your hypothesis, and hence conclusion that TAX is good for the environment!
Isn’t it amazing how tax solves everything!!!
Frenchie77 was that sarcasm?
Maybe it was too early in the morning to read your comments.
too early, my GOD Man, your posting is at 9:53. Do you work for the CHRC??
Sarcasm, yes, almost always. Logic usually means nothing to a leftie whereas a little sarcasm might, just might, get the point home!

It seems unfortunate that CO2 emissions do not cause global warming, if they did, we could use some big increases here on the ‘wet coast’. The first ten days of June were just reported as the coldest on record since 1937. Not so coincidental the sunspot activity is at a low.
Lewis
Suzuki, Gore et al will go down in history with their views on global warming, as giant frauds. Unfortunately a whole generation of our youth have been brainwashed by them.
“In the past, they observed that the sun once went 50 years without producing sunspots. That period, from approximately 1650 to 1700, occurred during the middle of a little ice age on Earth that lasted from as early as the mid-15th century to as late as the mid-19th century.”
Funny that the terminal moraine (farthest extent) of the glaciers out west occurred almost exactly “mid-19th century” and they’ve been receding ever since. But never you mind! Melting glaciers are the fault of those early pioneers out west driving their hummers and suburbans to the pistol range before driving to the BBQ to drink their Budweiser and eat buffalo steaks. You know it because fruit fly guy said so!
In the mean time, I await for the soothsayers to devine the readings of the Gods from the free-range chicken entrails.
They can predict the future, eh ?
Did the Warmongers’ climate model computers predict this world wide cooling of the last 18 months ? No.
Did they predict the sun going quiet ? No.
Can they put 2 and 2 together ? no.
Did the Warmongers think there would be a backlash against their fanatically induced high energy costs that we now see ? No.
Do the Warmongers realize we fear cooling more than warming ? NO.
Did the warmongers think we all would obediently drink the Gore/Suzuki cool-aide ? Yes. (Because the media was promoting the hoax)
Are the Warmongers shocked at how suddendly the John Crosses of the world went into hiding ? (Will soon follow)
Greenpeace, eh ? More like Greenwar – against humanity.
It’s the Sun, Son.
Just say no to solar warming or cooling or whatever denial.
And weatherforcasters can predict the future??? Bwahahahahaha. They can’t get it right from morning to afternoon. Weathermen and politicos. The only jobs in the world were you can lie and be wrong 95% of the time, and still keep your job!
Kate you denialist — you know the reason the sun hasn’t had spots lately is due to global warming.
Just thinken,
True Story in ~1975
In a Saskatchewan City the local weather Forecaster for the CTV affiliate, I will call AL. T*** hosted a Children’s show @ 4:00 pm and also did the weather at 11. The CBC weather forecaster (previously at CTV, I will call Bill. A) mentioned at an informal “tea” party that his forecasts “never” matched Al’s, although both came from the same national data.
A subsequence investigation found that AL. frequently left the Station and had a late lunch at the King George Hotel (Across Street) He was frequently late getting back to the Station and didn’t have time to produce a proper weather report. He just went into the file cabinet (old reports) & found something that looked close enough, to a slightly hurried (burp) reporter. I think he was fired “for leaving the station”
The fact that not one person in Saskatchewan complained or noticed that the Weather for ~ 3 years was faked, should be considered before worrying about Global Warming. Normal people don’t make critical decisions based on weather reports and even NASA didn’t know when the Challenger seals Froze.

Sorry for the punctuation errors ,,,, I was editing to prevent liability.
ask any 5 year old “Sally what warms the Earth?” Ask any warmmonger what warms the Earth and you don’t wanna know the answer.
Exactly. I drove the wrong car twice last week because there was a 70% chance of thunderstorms that never appeared – they came this week. Plus, I wasted a beautiful day last week because the morning weathercast called for 90 degrees with 30 – 35 MPH winds. The actual temperature was 70 degrees with winds at 10 – 15 MPH. That is a big, frackin’ difference in my book. I’ll buy off on “climate change” on the day I can depend on the weathercast.
KATE: I’m glad you brought that up!! The CBC, and other main media sources never go there!
The global warming and many other theorists relay on the old addage that if you flip a coin and call out the outcome, you’re going to hit it right 50% of the time, well–almost 50% of the time. Most scientists, physicists and researchers work for the government and/or on government funded work, so that way, they get to justify more grants, as long as they stay above the 50% mark.
Let’s say I’m a government funded long range forecaster. In a dry climate like Saskatchewan, if I make a statement that next month, between July 15-20, it isn’t going to rain on the Delisle county fair, I’ll most likely be 60% right, although it’s just a guess. And if it rains, well what the heck, the CBC will find an excuse to justify my error!
