  1. Good evening ladies and gentlemen, welcome to SDA Late Nite Radio.
    Tonight, in honour of Rockyt’s and EBD’s comments in “The Answer is Yes” discussion, a couple listener emails we have received here in the studio, and the delightful on-going cheerleading of listener Maggie, who seems to really appreciate our faux-pomposity here in the studio, we have, here in the studio, prepared for you a special selection, off of the original vinyl, from the inimitable Mr. Nestor Pistor‘s famous Metro on Broadway album, which would have been performed, unless we’re very much mistaken, in the early ’70s.
    This track is 12 minutes long, 9 megabytes big, and is probably not safe for work, unless like me you are fortunate enough to work only amongst a small group of friends, otherwise you should probably listen to this in a closet at home with the lights turned off, and play something safe at work, like rap. Oh, and also, this is guy beer-drinkin’ humour, so even though it’s pretty good guy beer-drinkin’ humour, if you don’t grok that shtick: skip it.

  9. Some days the conclusion of a scientist, or group of scientists, can leave one stunned and speechless. The reporting of said conclusion by the likes of “Times On Line” can leave on dumbfounded.
    Global warming will now cause an increase in volcanism. It was only a matter of time.
    But, does anyone want to guess what an uplift of 25 meters (82 feet) per year of the surface of Iceland would have been doing to the world’s network of seismographs. Also, just how tall would that mountain be by now, after 25 meters of uplift per year for the last 118 years?

    I stopped going to mosques in my home town after 9/11 — as many other Muslims did in their quiet manner without seeking public attention — and severed relations with “official” Islam and its spokesmen who are the most egregious practitioners of bigotry with their hate-filled language that fuels violence.
    The cost for me was liberating as I distanced myself from folks who preach a war-mongering ideology masquerading as a religion.
    Obama’s pastor is a mere sophomore when it comes to the Friday tirades of Islamist imams denouncing and damning America, Israel, Christians, Jews, Hindus, and Muslims who reject their lies and venom.

    Over the past few days Prime Minister Harper has demonstrated once again that he has emerged on the world stage as a World Class Leader, I too am very proud of our PM. He makes me proud too call Canada my Home, This PM deserves a majority.

  19. Vandals have once again spray-painted the war memorial in Ottawa.Do we not have laws against this minor form of treason that have stiffer penalties than vandalism? On a daily basis I hear 9/11 truthers portray our allies and soldiers as evil,and the enemy Islam as misunderstood victims of these evil regimes. Some go out of their way to convince others of the evil west. 60 years ago these problem children would be dealt with quietly and quickly. Have we lost our gonads to the PC/HRC collective crowd?

    And he has repeated – again – this time to a Montreal audience one of his most ludicrous scary warning ( saw it on the news )which is the entire pole could melt within 5 years.
    5 years???
    It would take at least 5000 years to melt all the ice on the poles, I have read some scientists estimate it could take as much as 10,000 years to melt it all completely.
    Should not Al Gore be in a padded room somewhere?
