… forces CHRC senior Investigator and internet spy, Dean Steacy to return to the witness stand to answer questions under oath on his internet spying operations against Marc Lemire and the popular conservative website – FreeDominion.
Ezra Levant comments – “If I’m reading this order correctly, March 25th may become known as Black Tuesday at the Canadian Human Rights Commission.”

Woo, progress! I like it!
This will help Ezra’s and FD’s case immensely…it will also provide the needed justification to cave section 13.
See, Liberal Fascism is very, very real.
Police and CSIS agents are even being outed as Liberal Fascists, committing these frauds and other violations with our money to oppress us and take away our right to free speech.
Clearly, the state apparatus must be cleaned up, with the Far Lefties given the boot. We can’t have these fascists using our money to violate our Charter rights in the name of radical progressivism.
It reminds me of the activities of the KGB, the East German gestapo and the Chinese Communists with respect to bullying whomever doesn’t fully acquiesce to their ideals.
Like I’ve said before …. there isn’t anything progressive about these socialist bastards or their leftarded supporters!
I’m hoping that there is a good amount of bloodletting when Warman testifies. This is a very good day for Canada and free speaking Canadians.
Canadian Sentinel, you are 100% right on. Leftards always say its the Conservatives going to take away their freedom and make ’em go to church every Sunday, but that’s because they want to stay in The Movement. Being a member of the Revolutionary Herd is more fun than actually finding out what’s going on.
My advise to Lefties, if you want to see real authoritarian oppression in this country, take up shooting as a hobby. Not even pistols, just air rifles. Try and take your kid out to plink pop cans in the woods. It’ll curl your hair, kiddies.
I am glad that fionally people with the means and financial resources to do so are standing up to punks like warman and steacy.
“…it will permit Lemire to enter as exhibits correspondence between the Canadian Jewish Congress and the CHRC, in which the CJC discussed methods by which Internet companies could block access to Internet websites — that is, to censor them — without even bothering to go through the process of a CHRC hearing.”
Collusion, amongst other charges. I wonder if there’s Liberal party involvement that will be uncovered as well.
Chesterton on the Cult of Progress:
“As enunciated today, “progress” is simply a comparative of which we have not settled the superlative.”
We will have to see if the “censorship” allegations are new, The CJC was involved in a publicly known prior effort to introduce legislation via the CRTC to allow ISP’s to “voluntarily” block content at their “discretion”. The CRTC turned them down – thankfully, something about the law, transperency, public consultation etc got in the way;). The relationship between the CHRC and the CJC and its friends seems a might too cozy for comfort though.
I am inpired and encouraged. Good job to Lemire. Well Done.
Against the vigorous chest-beating of the Canadian Human Rights Commission, “Attorney General of Canada” Excuse me, Isn’t he supposed to be Harpers man. Harper who once proclaimed free speech a great Canadian value. Wow and I voted for them, but not again. In fact this just proves that there isn’t one of these bastards worth voting for.
Unquestionably a topic not only of vital interest, but national importance to ALL Canadians. So why is this not recognized as ‘the’ perfect venue by the CBC, our national broadcaster into which we taxpayers pour over $1B per year? Why is the CBC not there to provide Canadians with live minute by minute coverage? If such coverage is not permitted, then acting in the taxpaying public’s best interest the CBC should be seeking (and legitimately using tax dollars for lawyers acting on behalf all Canadians for a change instead of the usual special interest groups) court approval to be there to do so.
I have to confess to a touch of The Tory Disease, where one doesn’t know how to act in the unlikely event that one wins a political battle.
What is the protocol for celebrating the reversal of the nanny state? It’s never happened before, at least in my lifetime. Regardless, I’m seriously stoked to see a growing swarm of public opinion mobilize against restrictions of free speech that have oppressed the white man (and it is, statistically, the white man) for decades in Canada.
Err…yay?
Pissedoff: perhaps not a good idea—not to vote for the federal Conservatives.
If the Tories are not coming through here—it seems they aren’t—there are many political reasons why not. (That doesn’t please me, but I understand the many constraints on a minority government, especially one as “despised and rejected” by both the majority opposition and the MSM.)
Remember, the perfect is the enemy of the good: the Conservatives are far from perfect—though, I firmly believe they’ll be much better with a majority—but they’re a whole lot better than the alternative.
Pissedoff, feel free to be pissed off with the Conservatives on this, but, please, also be reasonable.
I agree with lookout’s lookout on the PC’s missing voice on free speech.
The issue is too easy a target to present the struggling Liberals with – no matter Keith Martin and M446 came first, all that will make the press is the twisted version that Harper is messing with human rights. It’s not a political win in a minority.
Doesn’t make it right, I wish they would act, but they are playing a big picture game and I can live with that. I do believe the free speech S13 issues will be addressed by a successful PC party after an election, majority or minority.
Correct…
Mr. Harper has been playing a big picture game since Day One. Hence all the analogies about chess and checkers.
Two posters here have mentioned “liberal fascism”…remember that term..ot os accurate and has its roots in the old “progressivist” movement.
The first thing to remember that the practitionors of liberal fascism are NOT liberal…more here:

Regarding Police or CHRC officers posting (fake) hate messages, Ezra asks, “And, really, is there any moral difference between the two, other than the police claim they don’t really mean it?”. If the whole point of supressing hate speech is the possibility that it may incite violence or distress in another individual other than the poster, there is absolutely no difference, moral or otherwise.
“Police and CSIS agents are even being outed as Liberal Fascists..” I could give an excellent example of that but too long.
It’s possible the hercs are intimately connected to der apparatchiks.
In the letter by Margot Blight, it was revealed that Dean Steacy had indeed signed up the “jadewarr” account which was used to try to setup and entrap Marc Lemire.
“Jadewarr” – Hmmm…don’t suppose he’s connected to that Jadegold moron?
