  1. Bizarre. I had always considered Cherniak to be a sincere partisan twit. Not so much malicious as dangerously stupid. I may be wrong…

  2. Looks like the Warmelliak Triumvirate need to practice their craft some if they intend to be any good as provocateurs!
Remember now …. These guys are ALL Lawyers!!

  3. Bizarre. I had always considered Cherniak to be a sincere partisan twit. Not so much malicious as dangerously stupid. I may be wrong…

  4. Well, not only that, but according to my Facebook page, it doesn’t use military time anyways. When I look at my friends pages (all 2 of them, I’m a prolific Facebook user), times are listed as, ie.. 4:15pm or 10:11am.
PS to Cherniak.. I’m a lurker and I’m sure there’s perhaps thousands more like me who don’t comment much, who are LOAO at you and Kinsella. You two suck at basic research and in your zeal to nail Conservatives, end up getting pwned and looking like total morons. Good for a laugh though!

  5. Now you folks will come around to the liberal way of thinking or we’ll re-fabricate your life for you, libel you into it OR even better, we will pass harsher thought crimes laws just as soon as we can get rid of Mr. Bean and have a new election. (And we’ll call those pre-thought crimes by the way). If that doesn’t work, we’ll investigate what your mama taught you. So there, don’t frig with us. We’ll hunt you down just like we hunt Nazis.

  6. What a shame that they can’t even get the small and trivial mudslinging right. They are truly pathetic. Makes me all warm and cozy (being a Tory) inside.

  7. Jason Cherniak will probably come up with some ”new evidence” pretty soon. Jason, darling, drop it and save your reputation:-)

  8. That is funny to me because in another thread yesterday I was saying that many right wing blog’s purpose is exposing the left for what they are,
while many left wing blog’s purpose is distorting, “heavy editing” stories and plain lying to smear the right…
The left tells me I’m right pretty much everyday!

  9. I find it illuminating that the vast majority of “progressive” blogs don’t allow comments or require registration, whilst the opposite is true of conservative blogs.

  10. here is jasons recent post. interesting.
I received the graphic from the person whose harddrive is currently being recovered after what seemed to be a Trojan virus attack. He writes:
“I found the post on a recovered doc on my desktop. When I started pulling
the posts on Wed night I changed the time stamp from “an hour ago” to the
current time for my own reference. I must have hit “9” instead of “0”.”
I know Marcus, so I believe him. However, I will understand if others withhold their judgement until more certain evidence is, hopefully, recovered from the harddrive.
    Sent from my wireless Blackberry
why would he change the time stamp(marcus)on a post that had the original? on a graphic no less.

That, more than anything else, tells the tale.

  12. You don’t “change the date” on a graphic like that. The explanation is crap. It is “evidence” that came from a “crashed” and “recovered” computer, in other words compromised, and is no longer available online. Even Jason should see he has no evidence and should pull the posts. It’s plain libelous.

  13. “I found the post on a recovered doc on my desktop. When I started pulling
the posts on Wed night I changed the time stamp from “an hour ago” to the
current time for my own reference. I must have hit “9” instead of “0”.”

Someone needs to tell Jason and his friend “Marcus” that to change the image of a timestamp contained within a graphic requires photoshop (or something similar), some skill and time. The freakin’ graphic was altered!

  14. hey . . cut the lad some slack. He advertises himself as a “New Media Consultant”
Any evidence he doesn’t know a keyboard from an image file could ruin his business.
Then he would have to revert to Law, where he would likely starve to death from incompetence

  15. Oh my goodness. So Jason lending his credibility, I know Marcus, really doesnt count for much. The man who couldnt get any apparent smears against Peter Kent right….he tried twice and got them both wrong……
    What a doofus.

  16. For all the time the liberals put into scum bum smearing, they should be out there fundraising. Perhaps Jason could set up a lemonade stand. They can’t go into an election, because they have no money. They stole from us and each other, they are broke. It wouldn’t matter what Harper does or doesn’t do, the liberals can’t afford an election.
Psssssssssst….. Jason now that you are known as just another corrupt sneaky liberal, you could start making up election signs for Dion. They have red bristol board and crayola markers on sale at Walmart this week.

  17. I see Cherniak has published a 4-point explanation.
    I especially like the following…

any suggestion that I did this on purpose or committed libel would, itself, be liable if untrue, which it is.

But wait! If accusing him of libel is libel, wouldn’t Cherniak accusing others of libel for accusing him of libel also be libel?
    I’m so confused.

  18. Liable suits all around!
(You would think a lawyer would spell libel correctly…assuming that rabbit’s posting is a cut and paste from his site. He must be flustered.)

  19. I did indeed cut and paste, but I think Cherniak was using “liable” as in “held legally responsible”. At least we should be charitable and assume so. Jason has had a tough-enough day as it is.
But I don’t know why anyone would want to defame his good name anyway. Not when Jason himself is doing such a capable job.

  20. How on earth could someone think that something cut and pasted into a Word document (with most formatting strangely intact) could possibly be evidence the way a screen capture is? I mean, sure you can photoshop a jpg or bmp, but that takes some malice and a little skill – thus a screencap is at least prima facie evidence, unless manipulation can be proven (or at least credibly alleged) but a cut and paste, where the paster admits that at least one element (the date) was changed? That does not even pass the laugh test. I doubt that Cher-Wack-Job was aware of the manipulation at first – he’s not smart enough to figure it out – but I cannot believe that he believes that half-assed explanation.

  21. I wonder what Dion’s wife will think, now that her favorite blogger Jason the facebook forger, got caught with his pants down.

  22. Cherniak, I know you’re reading this; you can’t help not knowing what the other side is doing.
You’re complete lack of fact checking, whether it is insidious or utter incompetence, is telling – you’re oozing desperation for a Party that is circling the toilet bowl. You call yourself a lawyer? You are an unmitigated JOKE.
Go ahead and cry libel all you want; its not going to work. The days of Liberal and left wing threats of frivilous litigation are over, as Ezra Levant is proving. You’re a pathetic Liberal hack that has been caught red handed and exposed for what you really are. Don’t be too surprised if the lawyer(s) of the person you smeared contact you – very soon.

  23. Looks like Jason won’t be getting invited to any mo’ liberal parties. Not that being corrupt, devious, and a downright liar is not a qualifer to be an insider of the liberal party, they just don’t like it much when one of their hummer boys is dumb enough to get caught.
Maybe Kinsella and Jason can form their own political party. They can call it something like the National Socialist party of Canada. Something catchy like that that. They can bootlegg on the side, photographing toilets, make a calendar. Sell it to make money for their party.

  24. Going through my rolodex here, it would appear that the parliamentary e-mail address formula is not as Cherniak suggests:
“7) The odd thing about the email is that Parliamentary email accounts are always in the format Lastfive+initial [at] parl.gc.ca. For example, I would be chernj@parl.gc.ca. How, then, did Mr. Erikson obtain this email address, which is now inactive?”
For instance, if one wanted to reach the honourable member for Kitchener-Waterloo (L), he could be reached at: telegdi.a@parl.gc.ca.
Mark Warawa, Langley, BC (C) could be reached at: warawa.m@parl.etc.
Then there’s the hermaphrodites such as Garth Turner, who can be reached at: garth@garth.ca (’cause he’s not self-absorbed at all, is he?)
    But another valiant attempt, Jason!
P.S. Jason’s e-mail is jason.cherniak@gmail.com, in case you feel like dropping him a line.

  25. As I said a few days ago *and was rebuked on this site) “why do we even care about J.C. He gets an average of 5 -10 comments per day”. Again, who cares?

  26. We shouln’t be too hard on young Jason..after all his experience in the basics of life is…well naive
And besides…he is the gift that keeps on giving.
‘scuse me while I bust my gut laughing again !!

  27. I do apologize for any confusion and take full responsibility. I hope the seriousness of the substance will not be overshadowed by a misunderstanding about the nature of the evidence.
You Liberals wouldn’t know what responsibility was if it smacked you in your Liberal faces. “Evidence”? Obviously you have no idea what that concept means, else this whole fiasco would not have fallen into your lap, bringing that “evidence” into question.
And just so you know Mr. Cherniak, there is no “confusion” on our parts – we all know exactly what happened here.

  28. Maybe Kinswilsuya set Jason up. Jason is getting the ten liberals left in Canada, to post on his blog. Mabye Kinswilsuya, wanted to get rid of the competition. It is the liberal way, they seem to like to eat each other.

  29. So a Liberal blogger was caught with his pants down because he posted something, presumably to puff himself up while making his foes look bad, without performing any research, fact checking or apparently even looking at the image that he was basing his claims on…
Tell me that doesn’t sound familiar
I smell Schnauzer… And what the hell is that “giggling” sound?

  30. Seen at the bottom of his page – ‘Jason takes no responsibility for the truth or accuracy of any comments.’
“I do apologize for any confusion and take full responsibility.”
Spoken like a true Liberal – out of both sides of his mouth. 😉

  31. That was the first thing I thought too, but I didn’t think any of them would be dumb enough to fall for it again.
    …it is a liberal, and Jason…hahahahahahahahahahahaahahhahahaahhaha

  32. ‘Jason takes no responsibility for the truth or accuracy of any comments.’
Apparently not even when HE utters them.

  33. Hey, I read Warren Kinsella so you don’t have to. Check this out
“Here’s one of Warren’s truisms, then: legitimacy is not found in numbers. Rightness does not equate with popularity. You can be entirely, utterly alone, as Jesus Christ was in the end – as the other prophets were, like Mohamed and Moses, at key moments in their lives – and still be irrevocably right.”
Even if you could get past the pathetic martyr complex, doesn’t it look like he’s realizing that NOBODY is supporting him in his crusade against free speech. The list of those going against him is getting longer and longer.
Of course, he won’t comment on Cherniak’s foul-up…

  34. Jason probably scoffed that statement off the foreward page of the liberal party policy book.

  35. Right on Kai.
So which is it Cherniak, do you take responsibility or not? What Liberal version is it going to be today, hmm?

  36. Jason was:
“2 years in the mail room, 2 years as a summer student, then 1 year articling.” From Facebook.
Yep,I really would want to hire this lawyer and new media consultant. What a complete joke this pathetic man is.

  37. Jason, you should remove all your defamatory comments and apologize. I would have more respect for you.
You simply cannot and should not behave like this. How can you talk about ethical behaviour after all this?
