From a noble member “of an oppressed minority asserting their civil rights*“;
Flash! (Bureau of Alcohol, Tabacco and Firearms) agents, US Border Control vehicle, eye in the sky, encircling and victimizing the Indigenous people. It suddenly occurs to us that US President George Bush might be testing his killing machine in Canada before he does it on his own people. He wants to make sure his network of spies, deportations and killings work out somewhere else first. We Indigenous people are the only ones publicly standing up to this. Everyone else has been scared into silence. It looks like he’s got the cooperation of his puppet, Canadian Prime Minister, Stephen Harper. People like us are dangerous to anyone with these kinds of designs. It might be too late for Canada. Bush’s plan seems to already be in motion.
Reporting from the Marxist-Leninist Daily;
To Ontario Premier Dalton “Mike Harris/Ipperwash Copycat” McGuinty:
Your clowns are really putting on a show, aren’t they? Friday June 9th was a bad day for the “Keystone Cops” of the Ontario Provincial Police OPP and the U.S. Border Patrol. All our suspicions have been confirmed. Ontario’s representatives are sell outs to the Americans and they’ve been dealing with us in bad faith. So what else is new? Dalty, your henchmen were caught red handed. They were trying to cook up a storm and got caught in their own tornado. What goes around comes around.
These are the people Dalton McGuinty has set out to appease. What the hell. It’s not his money.

as long as they just get to drink their own bathwater and not screw it up for the rest of us they are probably as harmless a global warming/climate change
Fred, the problem is, they are not harmless.
Not to put on a conservative equivalent of a left-wing tin foil hat…but if you do enough reading about the connections between these extreme leftist groups, it is justifiably alarming.
There’s a lot of ugly dots that connect out there.
Not only the connections but the generally shared agenda. They’re totally, implacably hostile to traditional Western Civilization and our social and legal mores. There’s a convoluted, inter-connected skein of malevolence towards Western Civilization and the values and structures that built and buttress our civilization.
This is akin to Rome, 400 AD…and the barbarians are at the gates.
“BOSS!! THE PLANE, THE PLANE!!!”
Was Horn a writer for the old series “Fantasy Island”? She certainly spins a great yarn.
This women is in dire need of serious psychological counseling in conjunction with very heavy medication. She’s dillisional.
Fred,
As long as these Marxist/Anarchist pansies (funny how the two ideologies are essentially polar opposites but they’re all in bed together anyway) “Revolution” consists of smashing the windows of a McDonalds or running around in the buff to prove their point (we get the point, you’re a bunch of morons), I think they’ll be pretty harmless to us, though an annoyance to the people whose lives they disrupt. (As an aside, I thought they were “for the little people”. How does smashing the windows of a McDonalds help those who are employed there? (Who are likely to be earning a lower income while working at a fast food restaurant?))
They’re not exactly convincing the bulk of the population their cause is the right one when they go out and disrupt other peoples lives while making such complete fools of themselves.
Talk about delusions of grandeur–they are angry that Harper would not negotiate with terrorists so now they see boogeyman Bush attacking them! What next? Interesting that they are ‘only defending themselves’–against seniors and cameramen–what would they do if someone said boo to them? This bunch should have been rounded up and jailed the first day–this is what impotent politicians get us–we are all held hostage–the worst is yet to come.
Funny how these frothing at the mouth socialist robots always target demographics that can be easily radicalized, while at the same time remaining blissfully ignorant of the big picture. ie. college students, union workers, environmentalists, and in this case, disenchanted natives.
Ah the promise of a brave new world where society’s detriments are exulted to the status of kings, what a nice dream it must be for the naive.
It sure is fun to read conservatives. You guys talk as if you actually know what you are talking about.
There are far more conservative robots than socialist robots. In fact, it is a requirement of conservatives that they be in lockstep. Socialists are independent thinkers. That is why when Harper says he is going to create daycare or not cut and run or almost anything else. The conservatives eat it up. The socialists know better. They know that Harper could care less about daycare and only put in a limp wristed daycare policy to get votes. He just use the old tried and true vote buying strategy. Buy the voter with his own money. Wow, thats original.
We will leave Afghanistan and the Taliban will come back(again). That is just common sense. But the conservatives eat it up. Naivete trumps brains every time. Too bad.
Sorry, we couldn’t hear you… too busy marching in lockstep… Maybe one day we’ll all grow up to be “Socialist Independant Thinkers” like Steve D! Then we could debate things like “Bush Lied People Died!” and “Bush Lied People Died!” or maybe even topics like “Bush Lied People Died!”. Then if we get tired of that we could talk about “Harper = Bush = Hitler” or “Who could drink more vodka? Lenin or Stalin?” or something like that!
(Haha, just teasin ya! :P)
PS. Way to try and change the topic Mr. Roboto
Delusional hate filled people who are allowed to break the law with impunity, in Ontario. What a mess. Especially since they have abandoned any sort of rational thought.
The authors are thugs with little intelligence obviously – exactly the kind of people who end up as leaders once the rule of law has been abandoned. Just like the third world. In Ontario.
They are delusional because they have been allowed to develop these positions in a vacuum..They truly believe they are seperate and apart from us because we let them indulge in this dangerous fantasy..this will only get worse..they push and push, till we finally break and lash back ,and we’re the bad guys..poor,poor disillusioned natives, stuck in a world they think they control..the only power they really wield is the power that is granted by fools who are swinmming in dangerous waters..a myopic vision to be sure from the liberal gov’t..
I am always amazed at how childish and delusional the left is these days. Invent facts, plug into GWB hate matrix, reinforce with like minded leftist (throw in some fart-catching sense of leftist intellectual superiority for a real good laugh). No wonder these morons are unelectable anywhere (except Saskatchewan and Ontario). So far removed from participating in an intelligent debate it will take the moonbats years to regain any credibility with sentient voters. Hence their constant playing to the moonbat gallery, they have no hope or interest in crafting a reasonable, intelligent platform, its all “they’re scary/ after my womb/ oil/ plug in latest unreasonable fear here”.
Losers, one and all – especially corpulent Zerb.

Just off the top of my head: If you had told me in my 80s leftist days that the Mayor of Toronto would refer to “Toronto’s queer community” — not “gay” or “homosexual” — in a public declaration, as he did here yesterday, I would have rolled my eyes.
So Horn believes that Hitler was a pioneer that went too far does she?
Tell me Ms Horn how far do you think this social welfare state pioneer would have went if he had won WWII.
He believed that the German people were the master race. He would have eliminated all the Semites (that includes the Arabs too BTW) He considered the eastern European people subhuman, so bye bye all those Soviet Socialists. In North America our First Nations people would have been the First ones gone.
The world today would look pretty white, not that us white non Germans would have it cozy. Someone would have to be slaves to the Master Race.
Ahhh… the irony…
All this I read on this post, on the heels of the past few days, when the left invaded my blog and bombarded me incessantly as if it was I who was delusional just because I posted the latest news out of Iran and reminded readers that Iran is a grave threat to the Free World… which the left denies, at least those members thereof who crapped on me…
The left never ceases to astonish me! What delusion!
Very good post and very expositive, btw. Keep the moonbattery news coming!
“Socialist independent thinker”? After that, nothing else in the post was worth reading…
Look up the definition of “oxymoron”. There can be no such thing as a “socialist independent thinker” – “socialism” and “independent” are mutually exclusive. The entire rationale of socialism is interdependence for the common good. Like the Borg.
“It sure is fun to read conservatives. You guys talk as if you actually know what you are talking about.”

Stalin should not have let this one out of the gulag. U.S Meth, Russian Vodka, and British Columbian pot, are a deadly, mind altering combination. This proves it.
I don’t know about you Kate, but I’m thoroughly enjoying this round of high stakes “injun poker” with the great white welfare father.
High stakes strip poker is no contest to a provincial emperor who has no cloths and is too scared to show up at the table.

Archeological Dig in Caledonia

Tuesday, June 20, 2006
Six Nations protesters are conducting an archeological survey at the site of a housing development in Caledonia.
The protectors say they are looking for thousands of bodies believed to be on the site.
They are disputing claims that the protesters are digging a bunker.
A spokeswoman for Ontario’s Aboriginal Affairs minister says a second archeological survey was agreed upon during negotiations with Six Nations representatives last month.
A survey done for the developers found fragments of aboriginal artifacts, but no evidence of a burial ground. …- cfra.com

So, “bodies on the site” must mean that the Injuns have discovered their land claim really doesn’t hold water, so they’re hoping it holds bones instead. Get it designated a cemetary, ought to do it. Why do you settle for such simplistic ideas of socialism? Too lazy to investigate?
Think. What does capitalism insist from the worker? Tireless dedication to and diligence to a time clock, low-wage(as long as they can get away with it) existence. The individual is deeply buried within a company heirarchy. If he is not replaced by younger, cheaper people, and can survive ever more work heaped on for little or no real increases in pay he will emerge at retirement burnt out and wondering how he will pay his bills.
Socialism sees the worker as a unique individual who should have his needs taken into account when designing the workplace, the workweek and the worklife. The individual is shown respect unlike capitalism which uses people as they use machinary as interchangeable clogs in the machinery of business.
Horn is out of her gord.
What a flake.
McSquinty just admitted that the coal fired hydro plants will not be closed as he “promised” during his campaigned,(huge shocker) and now he buys the sacred subdivision for the Indian terrorists with our money.
This might be the sword in the neck of the liberal party in Canada.
I hope those noble gun-running, booze and cigarette smuggling, grow-op operating, democracy hating, cheque cashers, keep on protecting us from George Bush.

Steve d, in capitalism each can rise to the apex of his own abilities and ambitions. It’s called FREEDOM, you should get some.
Steve D: you’re up to your eyeballs in “isms”, my friend. We’ve been talking about conservatism vs socialism (well, you were, anyway) – how did capitalism get into this? Capitalism is a business model, not a social ideology, and one practiced by both conservatives and socialists (but the socialists are not very good at it – lousy math skills). I stand by what I wrote: “socialist independent thinker” is an oxymoron. Get together with a bunch of your buds and see if you can come to a consensus about that…
Skip: “Capitalism is a business model, not a social ideology”
Er, but it is! Capitalism needs certain things – free markets, private property, rule of law – to thrive, and those make up a social ideology. Intellectually, capitalism is underpinned by personal liberty. Ayn Rand said it better than I can (and no, I’m not some acolyte worshipping at her grave, but I do think she got some very important things very nearly right).
No, its not. It is a business model, pure and simple. Those things you’ve listed may fulfil an academic’s idea of capitalism, but in fact, none of them are needed for capitalism to function. Some of those ideals don’t exist – a free market, for example. A free market is an academic postulate, like frictionless surfaces. Unless of course, you define a free market as a market free to be influenced. [winking icon]
What does this have to do with Indians?

The social model conservatism has been combined with capitalism. In fact, capitalism uses conservatism as its mouthpiece in North America. So while conservatism is a political philosophy it is not free. It is bought and paid for by capitalists.
A good example of this is Harper. He was the head of the National Citizens Coalition, a right wing pro business, capitalist funded front organization. It supposedly has 40,000 little guys paying dues but the agenda is so blatantly pro-business that it is a joke. Their man, Harper decided to be the head of the conservative party. So what we have is a Prime Minister bought and paid for by the business elite. Nice eh?
“So while conservatism is a political philosophy it is not free. It is bought and paid for by capitalists.”
Quick everybody — run for it! I think he’s on to us!
That’s some pretty brilliant detective work, there. So what was your first clue, Matlock?
“ A good example of this is Harper. He was the head of the National Citizens Coalition, a right wing pro business, capitalist funded front organization. Hmm, so according to your Oliver Stone-esque theory, this could only mean one thing — the Conservative Party of Canada are not actually Shining Path Maoists!
DAMN! (slaps forehead)
Stevie, now you’re just getting downright bizarre.
Lets play a little game: Tell me what’s wrong with this sentence:
“So while liberalism is a political philosophy it is not free. It is bought and paid for by capitalists.”
I’ll give you a hint: “nothing”
Speak to me of the Misadventures of Paul Martin in the Business World. Is he a liberal? Capitalist? Hypocrite?
Steve D
Your comparison vis a vis socialism and capitalism would be more acurate as such:
Under a capitalist system one man exploits another.
Under socialism it’s the other way around.
vieux loup
close
under capitalism one man exploits thousands
under socialism its the other way around
That’s what leadership is all about. Its selfless as opposed to selfish.
Seldom do I respond to steve d., as his “ideas” are so laughable as to not be worth the energy it takes to type a reply. But, please, steve, what do you mean by “So what we have is a Prime Minister [Stephen Harper] bought and paid for by the business elite.”??????
I always knew your world was upside down and disconnected from reality and this comment, among many, proves it. The Conservatives had far more grass roots contributors to its election campaign than the Liberals, which is probably why the CPC is in the black and the LPC is in the red, despite the LPC’s corruption and the LPC’s being propped up by corporate donations–legitimate and under-the-table ones.
Wake up, steve d., open your eyes, smell the coffee, and stop spouting the left/lib/socialist dogma your Masters require of you. Freedom is on the other side; you just don’t know it, yet.
Here, to make my point and for you to chew on, steve d., are quotes from an article by Linda Diebel, “Liberal troops in a foul mood,” in the devotedly LPC Toronto Star today:
It’s only a few months into the Liberal leadership race, and the troops on the ground are exhausted. On that, most everyone in the party agrees.
Volunteers across the country…are angry, frustrated…
“This isn’t an unusual problem for the Liberals. They always tune out the grassroots until they are out of power and need them,” said Ottawa consultant Jamie Deacey, who co-chaired Paul Martin’s leadership campaign in 2002/03.
…the Liberal grassroots are alienated…
Martha Hall Findlay, a Toronto lawyer and candidate for the Liberal leadership: “the one thing that was most surprising was how angry Liberals are…The level of anger is palpable….Frankly, most Liberals across this country have felt let down, have felt ignored, haven’t even been thanked, let alone have had anyone stand up to say, `sorry’ to them.”
That sourness…appears to be the party’s dirty little secret. Ask Liberals about bad morale and stories pour out about sponsorship, the ugly succession battle between Martin and Jean Chrétien and frustration over feeling shut out by the national office in two elections…[including] volunteers who couldn’t get promotional material from headquarters…
“The discontent is real. There is immense frustration at the grassroots…There’s been an accumulation of frustration at the grassroots who have no sense of being part of the party,” [said one insider].
[From another LPC insider]: “You’d have to be an idiot not to sense the sour mood at the grassroots and be worried about it.” In his view, it’s unrealistic to expect the same volunteers who were abused to turn around and knock on doors, raise money and schlep voters to the polls in the next federal election.
At the recent leadership debates in Winnipeg and Moncton, N.B., it didn’t appear that input from the grassroots was a priority.
“Harper has the advantage because his troops have been energized.”
new kid on the block
I think it would be instructive for many conservative supporters to have their man in power for a few years. It would give the government time to sow their seeds and perhaps begin to harvest them. I guarantee it would look a lot like the Liberals. The only appreciable difference will be that socially things will get a little more crude and angry and the rich would get richer a little more quickly. I have seen it in Ontario and fully expect the same in Canada as a whole. Provincial governments will try to ameliorate this effect with varying degrees of success.
In the end, what happens to the economy in the USA will have more effect than anything else. I fear a major downturn there and we will suffer as a consequence.
Excuse me, steve d. Hasn’t it been under the LPC that the rich have got richer–by thieving and thuggery–and the poor have got poorer? EI and welfare are not the answer to poverty, nor is letting criminals off the hook because of the l/Liberal mentality that “they’re depraved on account of they’re deprived”?
What you fail to take into consideration is that PMSH is not a multi-millionaire like Chretien and Martin (both with powerful connections to Paul Desmarais and Power Corps) and that the CPC wants to CLEAN UP the corruption.
I think you are wrong that in a few years the government will “look a lot like the Liberals.”

Dozens of Caledonia, Ont., residents carried placards criticizing Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty and spoke emotionally of the fear and uncertainty they’ve lived with since Six Nations protesters occupied a housing development on Feb. 28.
“There’s no law in Caledonia, it’s completely lawless,” said Larry Gibson, who was so overcome that he broke down in tears.
“(The police) are not doing anything to protect us.”
The occupation has sparked numerous confrontations between aboriginal and non-aboriginal residents and allegations that provincial police have stood idly by as people are threatened and assaulted. …
