The media and many bloggers have been quick to highlight which Liberal Party bigwigs are supporting which Liberal leadership candidate. But what about bloggers?
As a service to the Liblog community and as a nudge to the campaigns to pay attention to ever growing (but admittedly still small) powers of the Liberal blogging community, Cerberus is going to try to keep track of these endorsements. I will have a permanent post in the right-hand column (how ironic) linking to the endorsement page eventually, but for now here is what I have gathered so far.

Rae is my #1 pick for sure.
People here in Ontario still remember Bob Rae, and not at all fondly. He will hand the Liberals an Ontario electoral wasteland.
I hope beyond all hope that he wins.
didn’t notice anyome getting the kiss of death from BCL.
In this situation, ask yourself this question:
Who would Robert McClelland support?
And hope to hell his choice wins.
Rae, Rae, Please for bleeding Jesus’ sake, Rae!!!!!
I suppose Rae stands a good chance of winning, but I wouldn’t vote Liberal even if Pierre Elliot Himself was resurrected from the grave and decided to run again. 🙁
Kate: Adam Daifallah has endorsed Kennedy.

This whole exercise is like selecting a new captain for the Titanic, after it hit the iceberg. With half the members of the Liberal Party of Canada running for the leadership, how will the remainder vote? If each voted for a different candidate, as it now stands, you would have a ten way tie, so will someone more brilliant than I tell me what tie breaking procedure would be used. But you want me to pick a candidate I would like to see win? Well, let me see, eeny, meeny, miney, Mo! But he is not a candidate you say? That’s today, what about tomorrow? Would he have to revoke his Chinese citizenship if he has perchance taken that move? Until then, I,ll vote for Scott Brison as his hypocrisy seems to most closely approach the the most dearly held values of the Liberal Party of Canada..

So …
Im going away on vacation till May 14th, but when I come back , I will publish a complete list of MPs whos supporting who and which way the riding might go based on organisers there. I will be happy to take confidential leads from all camps. I already have a good list of who is supporting who and working on getting some information on what is going on at the riding level with organisers.
Adios. …

Vijay,
You dont have any information any random Liberal with the ability to listen to what is happening already has, so stop pretending like you are some important insider with all the secret info.
Your a twat. You spent weaks back in the winter saying Kennedy was not going to run, pimping joke sites like the Draft Diamond one etc etc. You might want to sign some people up yourself if you even want to be a delegate.

Actually, I think Ken Dryden would make a better choice than Bob Rae. Rae, being an Oxford scholar, has some pretensions towards being a skilled debater. Dryden does not enjoy that detail.

CBC has stepped over the line with their interview of Ken Dryden (scum lieberal) on the hockey game tonite
the fawning interview of the ‘statesman ‘ was way over the line…
the bloody show is about hockey NOT Drydens quest to further screw up canada
another reason to get rid of ‘the state organ’ +

I think Gerard Kennedy even though he got off to a rough start according to media will come up the middle. All of the contenders have so much baggage that members of the Liberal party will choose the lest offensive candidate.
By the way I heard John McCallum may be running. Wouldn’t that me a treat. Most of the candidates may have baggage but McCallum is a fool.
Come on, Theres only one choice. Its Belinda on a write in for a favourite son!

Rae or Kennedy would bankrupt the country immediately, at least Canada might survive if one of those other losers won – but it wouldn’t last long with a bankrupt federal government.
Yeah I saw Ken Dryden on HNIC tonight — I would have thought Ron Maclean was above that. I am only watching TSN now.
If the media really wanted to do the nation and its future a big favor, it would dredge out one of its old Reform party terms ….”SCARY”…the bunch of utoians ans statist thugs on the platform as wannabe PMs is truely a scary bunch of elites.
Aside from the fact Powercor has the deck stacked with 2 corporate kleptocrats ( Rae and Iggy) I heard one of the long shots state he wanted to make Canada into the forst “international” country. ( ?!?!?!)
That has all the deconstructionist, cultural ans sovereignty degenerating implications that core Liberal moonbattery has embraced.
The best thing for these frankensteins of the scary party is to spoend a decade or better in the wilderness in search of genuine Canadians and their values.

Rae is in the race as the second Powercor candidate…the sole purpose of which is to draw votes off the other candidates then take tose to his Powercor running mate Iggy on the second ballot.
Ignatieff is the coronated Liberal pontifex (at least till the Trudeau brat is ready for prime time political marketing)and the wide spread of also-ran candidates is just a formality to give some semblance of percieved democract to the Liberal leadership selection process for the rubes who get their info from the liberal tainted media. The decision to install Ignatieff as interim opposition leader was hashed out in a contigency planning session in TO before Martin even called an election.
Its a mistake to delude yourelf into the belief that Liberals do organizational moves in the open democratic process….their party runs behind closed doors by patron oligarchs just as their governments do.
Dryden might be a good candidate if it wasn’t so painful to listen to him speak. Have you heard this guy, he sounds like Grampa Simpson trying to make a point. Most Canadians would change the channel before he finished his thought. His french ain’t too good either, I wounder how bad it must be for a Francophone to listen to the guy?
Here in Ontario I’m rooting for Bobby Rae. It might be the one way to finally get Ontarians to give up their love affair with the Lieberal party and vote Conservative. Maybe.
Duke, tone done your comments. That wasn’t necessary.
I think most of them are Smiling Jack wanabee clones.
Fact is… The Titanic has sunk, or didn’t you notice?
I knew Belinda was not looking ahead when she jumped at the seat Martin offered her to extend his stay at the helm, only to go drown later.
The liberal ship has floundered badly and is totally rudderless. It will take so long to regain any real shape that any winner picking at this stage will be long forgotten. TG
Kennedy has a hidden agenda.
He wants to ban personal shopping for groceries and force everybody to get their food allotments through government run food banks. That way they can control not only what you eat, but also how much.(goodbye obesity, goodbye malnutrition, hello C.U.P.E – entitled employees!)
Of course, restaurants will still be allowed – for those that can afford them. (the Liberals will still need somewhere to spend your tax dollars on their entitlements) The mafia are already establishing food service related entities so as to supplement their current public works related income streams.
You read it here first.

If they were half-way intelligent and put their prejudice aside, the Liberals would vote Ignatieff.
Pigs don’t fly. It’ll be Bob Rae, in order to grow their base at the expense of the NDP.
Conservative majority for years.
Makes sense that he was on HNIC, was was a great player in his time. If I was a righty and Dryden wins, I’d be very afraid. Comparing Dryden to Harper would be scary for the Conservatives. No skeletons in Drydens closet, he’s a Canadian sports hero (Canada 72) and a very nice, intelligent guy. Remember Harper trying to catch that football?
Many cdn voters were born after 1972, and reached voting age about 1990. 34 yrs ago is ancient history to them and many know nothing about it. Those voters probably have young kids under age 6 that want the 1200.00. What a choice, 1200. dollars, or memories of a long ago game, and the possibility of a government run day care, guess what they will choose. Regardless, none of these in the race will be PM for many years, if ever.
