While the Axis Of Babble wraps the Canadian Forces mission in Afghanistan in flags;
Iran has purchased ground-to-ground missiles from North Korea with a range of 2,500 kilometers, the head of the Israel Defense Forces Intelligence Branch, Major General Amos Yadlin, said yesterday.
While Iran already possessed missiles capable of reaching Israel, the new weapons pose a threat for countries in Europe and parts of the Middle East that have now come into Iranian range.
[…]
The missiles are known in the West as BM-25s, operate on liquid fuel and are single-stage. The BM-25 was originally manufactured in the Soviet Union, where the first generation, adapted for use by Soviet submarines and able to carry a nuclear warhead, was known as the SSN6.
Cliff May at the Corner.
“Iran has now purchased North Korean missiles capable of hitting Europe. Our European allies, the UN, Russia, China, cant even agree to bock deliveries of these?”
(As I mentioned elsewhere, NRO’s the Corner is a daily must-visit for anyone interested in day to day developments in US politics.)

Great. Now the mayrter-obsessed, jihadist Iran has Nuke capable missiles. And they insist that they-re only enriching uranium for peaceful purposes. uh, huh.
This is so exciting and so stupid at the same time.
I just defies any kind of logic whatsoever.
One can only hope the Iran fires a couple of nuclear armed missile warning shots into say … France and maybe a couple of other commie enclaves in Europe so that the rest of us might take them a tad more seriously and consider doing something about it.
Meanwhile, this is, without a doubt some of the best entertainment on the planet.
And to CTV and CBC … seen any good coffin scenes you can close up for us today? … you disgusting pack of gouls …
Gawd, not France, please…it gets exhausting watching them surender…
…surrender…
Duke,you think this is entertainment?
I hope the first missile they launch lands on YOUR family…..you ignorant fucking asshole!
France would just fire back with missiles of their own, equipped with enlarged under-cooked duck liver in the warheads.
Ain’t gonna happen. France will have already bought them off with a Gaullic mix of surrender and appeasement.
Besides, why would Iran nuke France? With all the Muslims in France and with all the EUro-appeasers and Arab-fetishists, it’d be like bombing one of their own…
Awesome.. this makes the world a more exiting place to live in, and to watch the game of chess by Statists everywhere.
So long as the fifth column continues to screech “there is no problem” the Islamic world will mutter under its breath “our plan is working.”
I’m very afraid it will take an actual nuke to wake the fifth column from its sleep. Unfortunately, many thousands of people will be sacrificed on the altar of hedonistic socialism(what else is new?).
But looking on the bright side, war will have finally begun and should come to a swift resolution brought about by the US alone (along with Britain and Australia).
Don’t worry so much about China and Russia. They too are merely infidels and they will realize this when they are rudely awakened from their realpolitik slumber by a nuke and they will allow the US to do the dirty work they too ignored.
So when is the bus with the Christian Peacemakers leaving for Tehran? Lord knows it’s Bush’s fault when Israel tires of the threat on being wiped off the face of the earth and sends their regards.
Duke, Me thinks the proud infidel is of the french persuasion (not that there is anything really wrong with that). I object to nuking France also. I prefer Beaujolais Nouveau to Beaujolais Nuclear aqnd Chateauneuf du Pape to Chateauneuf du Boom.
Idea… perhaps we could send all the simple servants running the long gun registry to Iran to register their long missles. Their job in canada is limited at best.
Kate, there’s one you can get rid of, proud idiot/infidel
How far off was G.W. Bush with his “axis of evil” comment? There’s a fire here and the UN is putting it out with gas! THIS is “the beginning of the end”! What are we gonna DO about it? Weapons like this in the hands of lunatics just ISN’T a good thing!
Almost off topic but not quite: I just looked up the Axis of Babble and I am surprised to see that the Canadian Parliamentary Press Gallery is not a cadre of reporters but an actual organization with executives, website and all. So it is not just some reporters angry at the government, it is an organized effort to thwart the government’s way of dealing with the MSM.
This explains a h*ll of a lot about the way things are covered. It is the media’s own version of “The Ministry of Truths”. It is truly sad when the MSM makes the news rather than report it.
WC,you want me banned but you’re OK with Duke clapping his hands with glee that he may get to witness a nuclear horror show?He even “HOPES” that Europe is nuked.
You are also an immature, ignorant asshole then.
BTW,I love your cries for censorship. There is already a clear lack of opposing views on this site.I guess you just come here for the comforting feeling partisan mutual masturbation gives you.
Proud;
I have NO idea of what you’re talking about or where you’re coming from! This is all news to me as I have NEVER spoken against ANY poster on this blog. If, however, this is your story and you’re sticking with it, then you SHOULD be gone! If, however, you go back and “check” your “facts”, then a humble appology will be considered!
Thank you.
Man, did “I” screw up!! It is “I” that needs to appologize to “Proud”. I noticed the initials WC and just jumped to a premature conclusion as that is my initials on another forum. I’m sorry for the misunderstanding. You two go ahead and have your little war, … no more interference from me.
Coyote,thanks for “unconfusing me”.
LOL
Enjoy your day.
North Korea’s Nodong program will only accelerate, without some type of foreign intervention…

They are going to keep this S**t up until somebody gets killed. They will aim for Israel first and foremost, no mistake. They won’t send a warning shot over the bow for anybody.
These people are killers. This is not fun to watch, it is the build up to the next world war and this one is too terrible to contemplate.
I hope Israel conducts a first strike. They have every right the way Iran has been talking , especially of late. They have put the world on notice they intend to wipe Israel off the map and we’re next.
Anybody who doubts this simply is ignorant of history.
I sure hope those of you on this comment thread enjoy the merriment and mirth. Frankly, I don’t find it a bit funny. This is MY family they are talking about and YOURS as well.
United 93 is opening tomorrow night. Go watch it and put yourself in the place of those brave heroes on that plane!
Put yourself in the place of those who are dying everyday in Israel because of some fanatic suicide bomber. In Iran , where there are those who starve for freedom.
This is playing out exactly the way WWll did. The West ignored, placated, whined and wrung hands until it was too damn late. And see where that got us. Freedom, but at a very heavy price.
IF we had put the Hitlers, Mussolini’s IN their place when we had the chance we would have saved millions of lives.
THIS time it might be OUR lives on the line.
For certain it is our way of life that is in jeapordy.
I am sick and tired of the childish game playing by the media in the West and the self-serving politicking of the Democrats and Far Left in the US and the Libs and Nippers in Canada.
Wake up. You will never regain power if you keep this up. There will be NO power to regain. You will be taking YOUR orders from Iran or your local Iman!! And if you holler, OFF with your HEAD!
That is what we are going to live with if we don’t get on the same page with George Bush, Stephen Harper, Howard, Blair. THEY are our leaders who know what we face and fight for us every day. We need to support that effort with everything we have in us to give.
Sniggering about how ‘funny’ this all is ignores the seriousness of the threat and a luxury we simply cannot afford.
I don’t think Iran will be shooting warning missiles over Israel’s bow… like North Korea did over Japan’s bow a few years ago…. then to say, “just testing”
The Iranian’s have turned the notch up in this war over Israel’s future with the aquisition of missiles capable of 2500 kilometres. How far up? I don’t want to see Israel nuked, to find out.
As for France, remember where Iran’s Ayatollah Khomenini spent 1978-1979 in exile during the Shah’s reign? Paris of course….
And don’t forget where Arafat always took refuge and where his money was sent.
France is not and never has been a friend. Their Vichy government collaborated with the Nazi’s and helped them put people in concentration camps. They have always been appeasers and dirty dog back stabbers… just look at how deVillpan behaved at the UN in the run up to the Iraq war.
We saved their sorry asses in WWll and their are plenty of allied graves on their soil to prove it.
This time France will not have the luxury of waffling.. they will have the jihadists foot on their neck soon enough, with or without war.
Peaceful electricity generating missiles – gee whiz those fascist islamic savages are smart!
Unbelievers can now see the wonderful things fascism is capable of achieving once they have imprisoned and tortured people who do not submit to them.
Infidel your foul language, not your over dramatic comments about Duke.
With all the Muslims in France and with all the EUro-appeasers and Arab-fetishists, it’d be like bombing one of their own…
Never stopped an Islamist before.
Soft power. That’s the answer. Just have the Euros call Lloyd Axworthy and I’m sure he will be glad to explain how it works.
I’m with Duke.
I imagine it will take more than the present 30 or 40 a day death rate, before the left comprehends the threat level.
Most won’t ever, so some major attack is probably in the cards.
I truly hope not.
Saying that:
Here’s hoping (like the poetic justice involved in the Toronto City Councillor, being attacked by his own noble homeless person yesterday)
a bit of the same, a lah, (see what I did there) France meets the iminent Islammist’s next move?
Oil for Food, and France also sold arms to Iraq, before and during Desert Storm, while agreeing on paper to an embargo.
I wonder when people are going to wake up to reconsider their mourning for an Iraq still under control of the Baathists….
Of course, they’d cut out their tongues before they’d admit the astronomical strategic advantage of having those American bases and troops a heartbeat away from Tehran…
No Kate, prior to the invasion, Iraq itself was a hedge against Iran’s aspirations to regional hegemony. That’s why Bush 1 et. al. left Sadam in ower with much of his army intact. That’s also why the West didn’t blink when Shias in southeast Iraq accepted Bush’s invitation to rebel and the Baathists slaughtered hundreds (possibly thousands) of them.
Now the Shias have enough power and influence to make their informal alliance with their Iranian co-religionists a real threat both within and outside of Iraq.
By the way, there are heavy duty American bases in both Saudi and Kuwait but, now that the s**t has hit the fan, they are moving their Saudi contingent to friendlier locales.
