Ricin

A University of Texas student found a substance that has tested positive for ricin, a potentially deadly poison, in a roll of quarters she was using to do laundry in her dormitory, officials said.
The student and her roommate were being treated for potential exposure to the poison, although neither has exhibited symptoms, said Dr. Theresa Spalding of UT Student Health Services..

  1. Ricin on campus……and the three arrests in Toledo this week.
Ricin hidden in a quarter roll. Now why would you go and do that?
AQ still lives here in the shadows. Are there a few of them, hundreds, or thousands? And, of course, the hard left in their stupidity wants the Patriot Act abolished.
Is immigration still giving Muslims student visas? It’s no secret that the Clinton holdovers have been thwarting Bush for years.
AQ has a history of slow planning and staying below the radar. They waited 8 years to revist the WTC with a bigger and better plan.
We live in very dangerous times.

  2. Ricin Found in U of Texas Dorm, Origin a Mystery:

A University of Texas student found a substance that was ultimately identified as ricin, a potentially deadly poison, in a roll of quarters she was using to do laundry in her dormitory.

  3. Ya either AQ or some lefty pranksters…or more likely some NSA spooks playing dirty tricks to losen up public opinion before an Iranian bombing mission.
Right now I see America so paranoid that some one could pull the plug on constitutional civil liberties and no one would notice….gotta get those AQ foamers….at the same time, Bush leaves the Mexican border open to over a million illegal immigrants a year…what the hell is happening down there?

  4. Oh, dear … look at Glenn Reynolds’ last post on the subject … it looks like a false alarm.
How disappointing. Guess you folks’ll need something else over which to get your paranoid panties in a knot.

  5. Wonderdog — you are a sad … oops, don’t feed the trolls, don’t feed the trolls. You know there were five — count ’em — 5 replies. Let me see, one was YOURS, one was a rather humorous retort from Jose. One was just a comment from WL Mckenzie redux (a rather humorous one as well) which leaves exactly 2 conspiracy theory comments out there. Save your jabs for a better time, because in this time and context, they sure are wasted. When Kate posts something, that has 80-100 comments that might be off base, jump in with your zinger. I might even laugh before I delete it.
