The Emergency Meeting

The motorcades screech to a halt, lights flashing; burly bodyguards jump out and usher their charges into the conference hall. They have been summoned here from their palaces, their holiday villas, awakened from their beds, rushed here in their private jets. This is THE big meeting of the OIC, the Organization of the Islamic Conference. So are they finally going to resolve the Darfur conflict, the Brown-Muslim-on-Black-Muslim genocide that has already claimed an estimated 300,000 lives?

Not exactly.

  1. Evan “… by attacking the US Al Queda thought it could get the US to negotiate.”
If Al Qaeda is trying to negotiate they sure are keeping it quiet.
“but don’t try to tell me it was an even split between those that supported britain and those that supported germany”
Did they do opinion polls in 1938? I know there were enough of them to tie FDRs hands but as to actual percentages I wouldn’t presume to know.

  2. jose… a quote form the ABC translation from one of the latest Al Queda tapes:
“As Sheik Osama has told you repeatedly, your security is dependent on our security. You can’t have one without the other. If you ensure our security, you will have automatically insured you own.”
kinda sounds like negotiating to me…..
oh yah … “Before the betrayal at Pearl Harbor occurred, a poll was taken of the U.S. citizen’s opinion about Roosevelt taking them into the
war. Ninety-four percent were against the United States getting involved.”
not sure of the validity of the claim but here is where i found it:

i will look for a more reliable source though…
i just googled “american opinion before entering world war 2” and that was one of the first hits i got….

  3. One more thing jose, since you got my irish up. Unless you know the history of that country I don’t feel you have a right to look down on your friend. This thing did not start 20yrs ago it started way back when… If you want to see the devastation that was Ireland after Cromwell you should visit that country. The people left the ruins for all to see. Ulster did not starve during the famine. That’s why I am here.. No the people in Ulster had plenty of food beacause it was part of England and still is. It was those outside Ulster that were starved into submission. This is why most of America is populated with Irish descent. Ireland lost one million of it’s population at that time. By the way – the atrocities ended when the British gave 3/4 of the Island back to it’s original people. It is now called the Irish Republic. It is thriving to the point that they are asking all descendants to return and bring their skills with them. Comparing the Irish rebellion to what is going on today with the Muslims does not make sense unless you argue just for the sake of hearing yourself. Course the way I see it is your a lefty and most things that they argue about are nonsensical.

  4. Lots of talk about sending rabid pigs but I think a better idea would be to gather all the liquid pig manure in the country and use water bombers to drench every mosque and all the protesters. This would make all muslims unclean and unable to enter paradise, and thus save all those virgins. I wonder how many of the protesters actually saw the cartoon, or could even read them. I am sure dutch papers are not on the newstands in many muslim countries. No one has told me where all the danish flags come from, who made them or who sold them. Time to ban the export of a countries flag.

  5. maryT – love your sense of humour. I just bet the Imans bought up the flags and distributed them when they brought those cartoons out of Denmark. This whole fiasco is a set up to enrage the Muslims. I can see the day when Israel has enough and lets a nuke fly. We might get caught up in this war but it will begin in the ME and end there.

  6. jypsy ontario:…two great books for Jose to read:
The Princes of Ireland (The Dublin Saga)..Edward Rutherfurd…
For The Cause Of Liberty (A Thousand Years Of Ireland’s Heroes)…Terry Golway…
I’m sure you must be aware of and have read them.
    Cheers
