  1. Oh, Lord! one of the images made me want to rip my eyeballs and run screaming from the room.

  2. Somebody tell me the name of that music. Every time I hear that piece, I think I need to go find it. Good road music. Great for visualizing the tires on the Liberal bus sudddenly deflating, their sidewalls disintegrating, the bus careening down the roadside embankment, while Paul Martin saws frantically at the unresponsive steering wheel, all the while screaming “Damn you, Stephen Harper! Damn you!”. Then, the camera cuts to Chretien himself, dressed in mechanics coveralls, whistling as he places a nice, shiny tire valve wrench into the top tray of his toolbox, right next to the monogrammed golf balls. Okay, maybe it’s time I just hit the sack. Yeah, that’s a good idea….

  3. Carmina Burana by Carl Orff.
Cross posted to Stephen Taylor, doubly verified by Google, and no, the alcohol still hasn’t worn off, so don’t quote me on the spelling.
BTW, had some Lib and dipper friends over tonight for an evening of good food, good conversation and great booze. Is it too early to gloat? Am I a bad host for snickering pretty much the whole night??

  4. Bill Greenwood: It MIGHT be ‘Dies Irae’, Requiem in D Minor: III. Mozart
Sounds similar, but I’m not sure…..it’s a start if you’re looking.

  5. Nuking the kitties and puppies of Canada for the vast socon conspiracy….the paranoid left succumbs fully to their own demons….of course they swear they’re YOUR demons but who’s to quibble with a fanatic leftoid in the throwes of a paranoid delusion?
Enjoy your mental meltdown Lefty, see ya at the polls….the apocalypse approaches….remember the more shrill and hysterical your messaging the deeper you dig yourself into political irrelevancy….ask the US left what the wilderness feels like.

  6. Was that an attack ad or a glimpse of the interior of the liberal war room?
Mushroom clouds and clowns, sounds about right.

  7. Beryl Wajsman was one of the persons “barred” from membership in the Liberal Party by AdScam Martin following the release of the Gomery Report.Wajsman was not even a member at the time.>>>
    Up with freedom and democracy.
    Down with AdScam Martin’s socialism.>>

I was born in the former Soviet Union. Among my earliest memories was the sight of police and soldiers in long heavy brown coats, chests covered by criss-crossed bullet holsters standing at what seemed every street corner, holding formidable rifles. Another memory was of an old, gnarled woman bent over a small desk at the end of our apartment hallway making notes on who came and went and when. When we moved to Poland, I remember my mother always telling me to be quiet when we went to the park. “People,” she said, “might be listening.”
As I grew, and studied, and read, the explanations became clear. The statocratic tyrants of eastern Europe said that the policemen, the watchers and the listeners were all for our own good. All for the greater good. It would make us better citizens to surrender our natural birthrights of free speech, free assembly, free association and free choice for the greater benefit of society.
That “society”, it turned out was not the people writ large, but the petty little world of state social engineers who “knew what was best for us”. What they knew was how to imprison us in suffocating oversight the better to control us for the “leaders”, who were the living embodiment of our “values”. Some leaders. Some values.
My parents made the decision to leave the tyranny of the mindless. We waited almost two years for the proper papers to come to Canada. No que jumping. No refugee claims. Well-educated, between the two of them they had a modest grasp of French and English and spent those years improving it. After some time in Paris we flew into Montreal in the summer of 1959. They felt very much at home. To them Montreal was a “European” city and they loved it. Seeing this, I asked, in the innocent way children do, why we went through the bother of moving. Their answer is instructive to all Canadians who will go vote on January 23rd. “To be free”, they said. “To be free.”
Not just to be free from fear. But to be free to choose. To make their own decisions about how to live, where to work, and what to strive for. Free even to make mistakes. But most of all, free from the great all-seeing eye of the state and the suffocating dictates it sent out in the name of the “collective good”.
Things were not easy in the first years. But I never saw either of them resort to any agencies of government for aid. That was what they ran away from. The object lesson in life they taught me was that for everything you take from the state, you give up a piece of yourself. And bit by bit you are no longer free. Bit by bit you mouth the platitudes of big brother in return for the crumbs he offers to “care” for you from cradle to grave.>>

  8. Naw, as far as the music goes I think you guys are far off. Let’s look at the facts.
Classical music is royalty free. Meaning, you don’t have to pay the copyright holder to use it in a commercial. You don’t need to get permission to use it either.
Given the past record of behaviour by the Liberals I would have to make a different assumption. I would say they either stole it or paid more than it was worth for it. Then again, given their level of intelligence / competence, there is a good chance some fraudster convinced them to pay $4.8 billion to the rights of piece of royalty free classical music.
Although they seem to have a preoccupation or obsession with anything anti-American. Maybe the song you heard is “You don’t bring me flowers” by Barbara Streisand.

  9. You know what? I actually was prepared to believe it was the real thing… that the Liberals had finally, in one last stupid, desperate move, with such and ad, transformed itself into the American Democratic Party, what with all their claims of doom and laughable lies…
It wouldn’t have surprised me, really. They’ve always appealed to the most dense leftist mice in the federation.
That’s what’s become of the so-called “Natural Governing Party”. Perhaps it’s time to put that now-laughable moniker six feet under along with the Paul Martin regime.

  10. The music–what I want to know is did the Liberals download this music off the ‘Net or did they pay for it? Sam Bulte and her copyright laws should be on this like snot on the pavement. If the Libs downloaded this illegally Bulte’s new found American friends are not going to be happy. But then, in typical Liberal fashion–they would be above the law, wouldn’t they?

  11. The Globe & Mail has not only an active campaign promoting the Liberal Party, but also its journalists are officers of GULAG of unemployment, poverty, slavery and humiliation of scientists and academic immigrants in Canada.
Who can claim Adolf Hitler had no journalists?
Who can claim Adolf Hitler had no componists and singers?
Who can claim Adolf Hitler had no philosophers?
Who can claim Adolf Hitler had no filmmakers?
The Globe And Mail’s journalists are those journalists, who support the deportation of innconent people into the torture’s chmabers of poverty, slavery, exploitation and the gradual deaths.
As a scientist with a PhD degree in the biomedical sciences from School of Medicine in Germany; with the recognition of all certificates in Canada; after more than 2 years and thounsands applications for employment to all centres, to MPs, to Senators, to Ministers, to Privey Council Office, to Human Resources and Skills Development, to Public Service Commission, and to Prime Minister’s Office, I have been ignored.
Prime Minister Paul Martin and his Liberals are practicing a kind of methodology which is based on the bioterrorism.
If the waste of the lives and the destruction of the professional careers are not clear cut evidence of bioterrorism, what else are its signs?
Paul Martin and his Liberals will be punished for their terrorism and shooting into the brains of scientists and academic immigrants in Canada.
Over 15 per cent child poverty rate (in Finland and Europe around 3 per cent; over 46 per cent illitracy among population; over $48 billions cuts in employment insurance; expansion of slums in all major cities; cutting over 22 per cent in social welfare for poor and jobless; detrioration of health care; depndency of most immigrants, refugees and native people to the boiling of water for drinking; scandals, corruptions; lawlessness; patronage appointments; unregistered lobyists; transfer of taxpapyers’ money to Ad companies, who have connections with the Liberals and many other problems are showing those Values for Paul Martin and his Liberals.
My life has been ruined; my professional caree has been ruined.
The government is ignoring my voice and violates my rights.
Do we have any accountable government in Canada?
Paul Martin must be punished, but not once, but also thousands times; this is his penalty.
His friends will be punished in the same way on Monday, January 23, 2006.
The election is the day of punishment of Paul Martin and his Liberals.
    Respectfully yours,
