   That’s pretty narrow minded. I’m not a fan of the keffiyah wearing black shirts out there, but your remark is rather absurd. The US civil rights movement was indebted to protest marches and what the hippies call ‘direct action’ nowadays. How about Ghandi’s march to the sea? I’m sure you’ll qualify your definition of ‘prostest’ now.

7. Just sitting here at my office in London, watching BBC 24 since we have just had a series of blasts in the London Underground. No known cause just yet but “electrical faults” are being touted at the moment.
   By my calculations, I had left the Tube at Embankment Station not more than five minutes before it all happened.

   On the subject of rioters and anarchists though, I have a small cobblestone from Prague which I use as a paperweight. Now, anarchists like to throw these things at the police.
   The point is: properly thrown, they’re a lethal weapon. So police confronted by a group of rioters pelting them with cobblestones would be well within their rights to use deadly force.
   Think about that.

9. Looks like you may have just escaped Osama’s wrath there, Big Guy. Osama guys are like the KKK. They do things behind a mask because they know their cause is wrong.
   They can’t help but brag about their cowardly acts and that will eventually do them in. Capital punishment for bombers is too easy, but should be mandatory.
   They sure do a lot of pointless killing of innocent people including kids and dogs.
