  1. I have not read the book yet but I am going to buy it because of all the CPAC political ‘junkies’ I like AND respect Mr. Johnson almost exclusivly. Mr Johnson is intellegent.
It is incredable that Canda has chosen a IQ challanged PM for the last fifty plus years every time. Why would anyone in their right mind choose Turdo over Mr. Stanfield? Cretian over Preston Manning? And the Progressive Conservatives once choose Joe Clark and then Brian Malrony, over Eric Nielson!!
Why are Canadians so afraid of having a PM that they can trust and be PROUD of, my dad calls this type of mind-set “hang dog” – like the groveling, cowering attitude of a dog that wants to get out of trouble by trying to hide in the ground.
Unfortunatly for those of us who do not want to be percieved as stupid, bumbling ‘air head’ billionare crooks – our PM DOES represent us as a people.
I hope you get some comments from people who have read the book. I didn’t think much of the superficial review on your link.

  2. Harper is the only hope for this nation. If we reject the only unbought, honest politician in 5 decades for a corrupt sell out cartel, we deserve what we get.

  3. Hey Mac thats why the MSM has Vilified Mr Harper so much. He wont be bought or terrorized or back down. He is the only hope to keep this country in 1 piece. Truth Honesty REAL Democracy all of these are just words for the Liberanos used to steal from the taxpayer and deceive us all, they used to be words that had real meaning.
    Viva Liberta ALBERTA!!!

  4. Dubya El MacK is absolutely correct. If the Libs are returned, particularly with another majority, I fear for the long-term future of our nation. That’s why ALL people WHO CARE at all about Canada MUST VOTE AND VOTE CONSERVATIVE. PERIOD. Those of you who want the Tories to win but are too lazy to go vote, get offa yer duffs, dammit! VOTE!

  5. Stephen – WHEN will we get to vote. Martin is never going to allow an election.

  6. “Happy”, that is the question everyone will be asking for not even the Big Guy Upstairs knows how long. Hell, even Paul himself (he thinks HE’S the Big Guy, doesn’t he!) doesn’t know. Hence the Mr. Dithers label.
Saw in the MSM a report (again, I forget where; they’re all pretty much the same as they say the same old crap) that the Apostles of Paul (just thought of that) want him to delay past when he pathetically promised to call one for a month after the Gomery report (as if we’ll ever see it). I think they want it for spring 2006, but memory’s fuzzy on that- I just speed-read it so I wouldn’t be late for the daily grind.
So, Happy, your guess is as good as mine.

  7. There was a great quote in that review that came from Stanfield “If I walked on water, the next day the papers would say that I couldn’t swim”.
That’s EXACTLY what the CPC’s problem is!
