Checking in from Wisconsin, after spending all night driving and most of the day getting ready for more of the same over the next 30 or so hours. It probably needn’t be said that you’ll be in the care of the guest bloggers for another few days.

Here’s the opportunity Lorne “small dead animals doesn’t speak for the people of Saskatchewan” Calvert has been waiting for to finally drop the writ – I’m off on another dog show road trip that will eventually take me to the eastern US.
I hope to get online every couple of days, but my time (and energy) for blogging will be severely limited.
I’ve written a number of posts (including several reader tips threads) that will appear automatically, but remember that these sometimes malfunction. I’ve arranged for a friend to check for that, but be patient should you get an error message when posting comments.
I should be home by around the 11th. In the meanwhile, surf the other good blogs on the sidebar, be good to the guest bloggers, stay on topic, and ignore the trolls and drive-bys. And wish us luck!
