Egyptian student to be deported from the USA over Trump death threat:
Los Angeles (AFP) – An Egyptian student attending flight school in California is facing deportation after posting a message on Facebook saying he was ready to kill Donald Trump.
Emadeldin Elsayed, 23, was arrested by federal agents on February 12 at the Los Angeles-area flight school he was attending after posting what authorities said was a death threat against the leading Republican presidential candidate.
“I am willing to kill Donald Trump and serve a life sentence. The whole world would thank me for doing that,” Elsayed wrote on his Facebook page, according to his attorney Hani Bushra.
Although authorities did not file any criminal charges against Elsayed, an immigration judge earlier this week ordered he be deported on grounds the flight school had terminated his enrolment and as such his student visa was no longer valid.
The judge also refused to release Elsayed on bail after prosecutors argued he posed a flight risk.

Err yeah BUT
Xena Warrior Princess, starring Lucy Lawless as the princess, filmed in NZ so far so good.
Lucy though, full on raving green loony, responsible for law breaking activist and of course being above any laws that apply to mere plebs.
She “works” as an ambassador for Greenpeace which incidentally lost its charitable status in NZ but not before the illegal entry into New Plymouth docks and illegal boarding onto The Noble Discover drillship at the time contracted to Shell/Todd. She climbed the derrick and remained for 70 odd hours to “protest” its legal right to operate.
She got a reprimand and slap on the wrist to “avoid” a criminal conviction that would “jeopardise her ability” to travel internationally and work.
Irony obviously not being a word in common usage nor the ability to understand its meaning amongst the likes of Lucy.
Because of actions like this the safeguards that now have to be put in place ramp up the cost of any operation by substantial amounts and help contribute to the negative appeal of companies trying to do legitimate legal business. Incidentally Shell/Todd asked the courts for a paltry $545,000 in reparations and got turned down. Its the little scissor cuts that bleed things to death.
She isn’t real popular in Taranaki

“Yale University Closes Climate Change Institute”
“After a University decision to cut all its funding, Yale’s Climate & Energy Institute will close by the end of June.”
“One possible explanation for the end of the YCEI is that the institute did not generate many alumni donations, Goldklang said.”
“Perhaps it is difficult to solicit alumni donations, from people who know that the end of their own gravy train is uncomfortably imminent.”

“Chai Jing’s daughter had a benign tumor, that was discovered while Chai was pregnant. Following her daughter’s birth, Chai undertook a self funded year-long investigation into China’s environmental problems, specifically the air pollution. The result is this documentary called Under the Dome. It was released online on March 1, 2015 and by March 3, 2015 it had been viewed more than 150 million times.
The video runs for just under an hour and forty-five minutes and is compelling viewing”

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s plan to spend the economy into good shape will only lead to ballooning debt, jobless youth and stagnant wages, outspoken financial commentator Kevin O’Leary says.
Every increase in borrowing costs would consume a larger share of the taxpayer’s dollar, O’Leary said.

Ol’ Remus on The Federalist
Who in the world decided to film Trump analyzing Citizen Kane from the perspective of a contemporary Billionaire ? Just as Peter Griffin ‘spoiled’ C.Kane by revealing Rosebud was a childhood sled … I will spoil your viewing of Trumps analysis by revealing … Trump suggests that you … “get a new woman”. I can only surmise that Trump is referring to his gold-digger ex-wives who drove him to earn more and more. Or as Jimmy Buffet once wrote (when he was an artist, not a cartoon) … ” I hear from my ex on the back of my checks”
Or at a deeper level, Trump may be warning the US that all the greedy grabbers of our taxpayer largess need to be replaced. Need to go-away. After all, isn’t that what JFK said in a slightly less oblique manner ? “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country” Trump may be clearly warning what happens to wealthy countries from the perspective of a wealthy individual. That the leeches ruin everything. Ruin the quality of life, and lose sight of the REAL values that make us human. Perhaps Trump’s Billionaire perspective is much more valuable to the country than that of an impoverished “Community Organizer”? It is not so ironic that JFK came from enormous wealth (old money) … just like Trump. Perhaps our country is in DIRE NEED of another personally-wealthy president. No, not Clintonian nouveau riche wealth … but generational wealth that brings “perspective” on life.
Very interesting and in line with the warnings issued in the film Big Wind which relates damage to both humans and animals in areas of wind turbine development.
http://ontario-wind-resistance.org/2015/03/26/watch-tvo-documentary-big-wind-online/
I found this to be a very informative and disturbing documentary. While everyone does not experience health problems with the turbines, some do. That is always the case. Not every smoker died from lung cancer. Unfortunately there is a methodical attempt to cover-up the problems related to wind turbines. People in cities are paying little attention because they do not experience the turbines on a day-to-day basis, but it appears that some smaller communities and in farm areas, some people are experiencing major problems. The Green Energy Act has taken away the right to object to these things.
Everyone was on Harper’s case for his alleged failure to respect democracy — while the McGuinty/Wynne duo have been allowed to step on people’s rights without much consequence while places like South Korea and Spain make bundles off of Ontario taxpayers, hydro rates go up and people’s lives are trivialized. I do not get why the people of Ontario do not speak up about this scandalous abuse of power.

“The “long whimper” of failing climate alarmism”
“On the thread Yale University Closes Climate Change Institute longtime WUWT commenter Gray Pearse gave a synopsis of the anemic state of climate activism these days. As I published that article, I had thought to myself that the closing of this Yale Climate Institute signals a sea-change, one that has been long in coming. Gary cemented those thoughts, and I have reproduced his comments here with added links to his references in order to provide the perspective.”
“Joe Romm – gone. Real Climate hanging on like a foundering ship, Bill McKibben- gone in tears, Al Gore – sold his TV station to oil sheiks and makes only half-hearted appearances with his tattered “reality elixir show” on life support like the end days of Buffalo Bill. New York times shuts down its embarrassing global warming section and several other dying newspapers have done the same. James Lovelock, inventor of Gaia gracefully recanted his position, saying it was a way too overblown.
And those remaining? These are the ones with the most skin in the game and also those captive to their governments urging them on in this dead issue. They also have psychological issues I’m sure, evidenced by the reckless, ‘sauve qui peut’ (save what you can is a losing sides last order in a war) behavior of simply trashing the pause. They are giving their bosses their all and will be taking a comfortable retirement before Trump is inaugurated although their legacy won’t be something to dwell on.
A tide of change is coming from other university researchers that are emboldened to give ocean acidifcation a decent burial, resurrection of the Pause, good things about CO2 and some warmth etc. This is the long, slow death spiral of CAGW. Lamar’s Senate House investigation of the killing of the pause, the Shukla affair, etc. may wind it up.”

University of East Anglia abandons biomass generator:
http://www.bioenergy-news.com/display_news/10259/University_of_East_Anglia_quietly_abandons_pound105m_biomass_scheme/
“UK’s largest biomass power generation project has been quietly abandoned after having never run for more than 30 minutes.
The £10.5 million (€13.5m) plant, built in 2007 to reduce CO2 emissions at the University of East Anglia (UEA) in Norwich, was intended to produce renewable electricity from woodchips.
The facility, which received a £1 million grant from the UK government, was at the time praised for its significant environmental benefits.
But a source within the UEA told The Guardian newspaper that the generation unit has never run for more than 30 minutes and that students are using the wood storage facilities to hold Christmas decorations.
Suzanne Jones, a local Norwich campaigner on environmental issues, accused the UEA of trying to sweep the plant’s neglect under the rug.
“UEA has established an international reputation for its leadership in environmental technology, so it’s extremely disappointing that they have tried to hide the failure of their biomass project,” Jones said.
“There has been a complete lack of transparency here.”
