I am fully expecting censorship, gun control, restrictions on demonstrations, more pointless lock downs and rounding up of the unvaccinated and other “undesirables” . I am not even sure at this point if we will have an honest election, but if we do, it will be our or last chance to thwart the totalitarian agenda.     1. I lived a similar situation, and watching the clip made me tear up. In the early years after 9/11, my family and I had a flight from SeaTac to an overseas destination. My wife and my daughter, then about 4 y.o., were selected for the useless random searches. They had to separate the family, open carry-on luggage, I don’t remember any more whether pat-downs were part of the service. We all were in the same room, perhaps 5 ft apart from each other. My daughter screamed in distress like this child; my wife in tears, while I attempted to calm them down. I think this was one of the very few times I genuinely felt hatred towards perfect strangers doing their “job”.

      1. It’s not a real job, it’s a pretend job. They were pretending you were terrorists and pretending they were making the plane safe while pretending any Muslims passing through security are the salt of the earth.

      2. One time in Halifax, lineup to get through security for a flight. This ancient old woman, in a wheelchair and with an attending nurse, colostomy bag and everything. Security spent 15 minutes searching and going through everything this woman had. Clearly a fucking terrorist threat, a 90+ year old white woman.

I admit to being amazed at how far things have twisted over there, and how the police are so enthusiastically on board. There are always lots of what if’s, but what if someone that has reached his limits decides that execution of some of them is a good idea. I predict it will happen, it’s just a case of when and where. The authoritarians have gone way to far, more in that country than any other place. How much can decent ordinary folk take before they snap?

He already has bill C-10 and C-36 just waiting to get passed if he gets his majority, read what these bills will allow him to inflict on Canadians if he is allowed to. He wants unelected bureaucrats in the CRTC to control what we are allowed to see and access on the internet, he wants to take away every fire arm from Canadians who right now have a legal right to possess them. Not every one in Canada lives in Toronto ,Vancouver or Montreal, some of us need a fire arm to control varmints not citizens. The gangs and druggies are never going to turn in their weapons they were never legally acquired in the first place. Every dictator who ever aspired to power and autocratic control of a countries populace had to firstly control the media and the peoples access to means of self defense !
