Florida has been handling Covid in an intelligent manner that balances restrictions with personal and economic freedom. This bothers Beijing Biden and his comrades because it doesn’t fit their narrative.  It takes a special kind of stupid to not adjust to the facts on the ground and just dogmatically continue on with what’s not working.

      2. The 2020 population of Florida is just over 20 million, of that about 4.5 million are aged 65+. The median age is 41.6 years. In the county I live in (Pinellas) there are 30 high schools, counting both public and private. Your characterization of Florida is way off the mark.

    1. Correct. The elites and the powerful are not combating a virus with their measures that restrict the freedoms of the rest of us. They’re actually conditioning us to accept restrictions and bans on travelling, what’s allowed for eating and drinking (red meat will soon be labeled a “climate killer” by much more powerful people than the usual vegan kooks) , gathering together, religious observances, fun events like watching sports all together in stadiums, single-family homes on decent-sized plots of land … the “Global Climate Change” cause will soon be added to the CoVid pandemic reason for the restrictions, and we will never regain the freedoms we had before March, 2020. The Great Reset is already here.

      But the elite will, of course, always travel how and where they will, live where and how they want, eat and drink what they want, and socially gather whenever, with whoever, and with as many as they want. We’re back in the days of the nobility and the peasants. It’s just going to take a little while yet before what’s so clearly happening to us is abundantly clear to everyone.

The lockdowns were imposed in the West for the same reason as the lockdowns in China—to stop people taking to the streets, heading for the homes and offices of the scumbags they knew were responsible for the plague and demanding, not begging, that either authorities hold the scumbags accountable or the people would do it for them.

        But for the lockdowns, people would be in the streets of western capitals every single day, demanding that the Chinese and their lickspittles in western governments be held accountable for mass murder.

        It’s not like Canadian ministers like being told the truth in front of the darling photogenic children—that they’re traitors, whores and cocksuckers.

      2. Ann, I’m glad I’m not the only one to notice. Beyond what you’ve nicely laid out, the new nobility will continue to pursue their “eclectic” tastes and pleasures, in much more excess than even Hollyweird. It’s just that they have realized that the planetary resources should be reserved for them and their offspring, and we peasants are using them up, so we must be culled down to an acceptable number that can serve and service them and those eclectic needs. Any more people beyond that number are superfluous, and not required. To them, we are a resource, and an overly abundant one at that. Kind of like a bug or rodent infestation. They do not see us as human or people, just sheep to be used and abused, as they see fit.

        Unfortunately things are so far along with their reset plans, I think we are unable to turn back, and they know it, that is why they are now so blatant in their public announcements, they no longer care that now we know, because they think we are beyond anything we can do to stop them. They may be right.

          In fact my wife and I started re-watching the entire 5 seasons…..the similarities that went on there vis a vis Earth-Mars and that Space station to what is occurring right now on this planet is simply uncanny and totally unreal..!!

          This total shit show of virus + faux vaccine is how they plan to eliminate some 7 billion folks…..And they will do it with a smile on their EVIL faces…..as the Latent LETHALITY of their warp speed magic potion begins to reveal itself.

        2. GerryK, I do wish you were wrong. But you’re not. Powerful statists view ordinary people under them as exactly that … underlings to be used and discarded. And we ordinary people are enjoying life too much, which, in their eyes, means we’re using up too much of the earth’s resources. We like using gas-fueled vehicles. We like flying to vacation spots. We like our houses on our individual properties. We like our steaks and chicken wings and wine and beer. And the farms and factories and vineyards etc. that profit off our likes … it’s all got to end. The elite are ending it all, right before our eyes. I don’t think we can stop them anymore. The military and police forces will work for them. Elections don’t matter when the vote tallies can be manipulated and changed in the blink of an eye.
          I’ve said this before … the ideals of America from 1776 onward gave us ordinary non-elite folks in every Western country a good couple centuries. But I think it’s over.
          To get back to the topic that started this thread, of course Florida’s successful response to the pandemic has to be discredited and suppressed and ignored. The elites don’t WANT successful responses to the pandemic. They don’t want the ordinary members of the middle class to recover economically, and to walk around again unafraid and maskless and free. I repeat … they’re never going to allow us to go back to the freedoms we had before March, 2020. I wish I, too, was wrong, GerryK.

  9. New York City and New York State are broke and need a lot of cash. A Democrat in the New York State Assembly introduced a bill to tax every NYSE stock transaction.

    Upstate New York Assembly people should overwhelmingly support the bill. Taxing stock transactions will depopulate NYC in a matter of weeks. Upstate New York will actually be able to pass laws and bills that benefit them, not the Idiots in NYC.

    What might happen if NY starts taxing Wall Street? Can you say Dallas Stock Exchange? maybe Orlando Stock Exchange? Atlanta?

    A smart state would be looking to attract or replace the NYSE. Pass a comprehensive set of tax breaks for Stocks, Bonds, and other financial instruments that are bought and sold within the state. Maybe even going as far as adding a State Constitutional Amendment to prohibit taxing stock and bond transactions.
