      1. There’s a proposal to merge the Freedom Conservative party and Wexit Alberta. We’re voting on it right now.

  1. I have left Twitter for the moment because I was worried about the cancel mob coming after me.

But I scan it. The Tweet below is in my view one of the best and most succinct summaries of the Wallace “noose” matter.

Here’s the quote “This is what happens when the supply of actual racism doesn’t meet the demand.”

If you are on Twitter please consider giving this fellow’s tweet a like and a retweet.

    Cheers.

    1. Thanks BC
      And in the replies…

“When victimhood is currency, you’ll always have counterfeiters.”

BTW, I quit watching ALL Canadian news but I understand this was a big story yesterday and this morning so I’m wondering if they’re giving it a good leaving alone now that it’s been proven a hoax?
You’d think they’d learn the 48 hr rule or at least wait till the investigation is over but why would you when there’s no consequences.

    2. In my experience, the white men who do all the work and grow all the food in north America have precious little free time to waste on hating anybody.

They realized long ago that they would never be appreciated, much less loved. They’ll settle for being feared, if that’s what required to convince good-for-nothings to leave them alone to enjoy the fruits of their labour (and only that) in peace.

All the hatred, racism and bigotry cones from the other side. Thugs hate “peckerwoods,” Muslims hate Christians, feminists hate men, and perverts hate “breeders,” blaming them for all the consequences of their own laziness, stupidity and lack of self-control.

  2. Bookies in Las Vegas should be taking bets on which libraries will burn the longest, like The Library Of Congress vs The Smithsonian Library or something like that, or are they already?

If it wasn’t written today, it is racist.

    1. If it wasn’t written in the last 5 years, it’s irrelevant.

My Ph. D. supervisor whined that I was using reference material from the early 1970s in my thesis and it should be more “current”. So, say, Ohm’s Law described in a textbook from 50 years ago is considered out of date and invalid but Ohm’s Law mentioned in one published within the last 5 years is?

      1. B A, I am a retired academic (in economics), and it is true academic articles should, however briefly, survey recent academic work. But in my field, it is considered cool, or trendy, to include work going back decades, or even a century. It makes the writer seem broad minded, and that is considered cool.

        1. In my case, I just happened to have the older references in my personal library at home. The alternative would have been to go on campus and borrow a stack of books.

Then again, my supervisor didn’t particularly like me, largely, I think, because I was independent in my ways and didn’t play the academic game. He was always looking for something about my work to whine about.

      2. Hmm…

I wonder when they will attack Metallurgy, Welding & Pipefitting..??
Much of the Scientific data contained in say: ASM Metals Handbook Series (23+ books), is information gained over the past 2 centuries…and not last week.

        1. They already have.

I inherited a fine set of measuring instruments from my father, but many of them used vernier scales. One machinist who knew him told me that I might have difficulty in selling them because apprentices only want the digital devices. (Fortunately, I sold them to a friend of his who worked with precision instruments. He liked the mechanical ones because they tend to stay calibrated.)

Recently, I made inquiries about possibly donating some of my father’s books to a certain post-secondary institution. I was told in no uncertain terms that anything older than 5 years won’t be accepted. I replied that some trade texts haven’t been updated after being published decades ago because there’s no need to. They’ve become standard references in industry.

          No response.

During my years of teaching at Armpit College, I’ve seen the kind of crap that academic publishers put out. For example, a worked example in, say, physics has to have brightly coloured pictures. A simple black and white diagram won’t do any more, you see.

Worse is when it comes time to actually doing the calculations. Not only are the numbers written down, but–get this!–pictures of the actual numerals, the actual keys one presses on the calculator, are shown as well. It isn’t enough to show 3 + 2 = 5. Nope! They have to include (3 key) (+ key) (2 key) (= key) (5 displayed on calculator)

And you wonder why some of the apprentices you deal with are a few beers short of a sixpack?

    2. The barbarians in Minneapolis Minnesota burnt down Uncle Hugo’s Science Fiction Bookstore and Uncle Edgar’s Mystery Bookstore. Uncle Hugos was the oldest S/F bookstore in the nation. They both were filled with rare and collectible books including signed copies and first editions.

      Barbarians!

      http://www.unclehugo.com/prod/index.shtml

      1. Funny, I haven’t seen about the book-burning in any corporate media. Funny about that.

      2. rd

        Tragic.

I wasn’t aware of the bookstore burning. When I travel I like to stop in at used book stores. You never know what you might encounter.

  3. At the first place I worked after I got my B. Sc., the favourite activity seemed to be telling rumours. The rule of thumb was that if you haven’t heard one by 9 AM, start one of your own.

  4. In Quebec, St-Jean-Baptiste is cancelled—due to Wuhan flu, alas, not due to the “Fête nationale” being an excuse for bitter indépendantistes to vent their hatred for…

“Well, I’d rather not repeat the names that were used. They were a mark of our past collective ignorance.”

Fine, Lise Ravary, I’ll do it. Your tribe called them goddamn English and goddamn Yids. Money and the ethnic vote.

They did everything to scare them away and replace them with Chinese, Lebanese and Haitians. How’s that worked out for you all?

    https://theprovince.com/opinion/columnists/lise-ravary-i-may-still-call-it-la-saint-jean-but-its-a-fete-for-all/wcm/62f416c5-4ccd-4e6d-85a1-510832304e86

A fête for all my foot. The loyal Canadians you drove out of Quebec screaming know better.

Joyeuse St-Jean? I could only find joy in the “Fête nationale” if I knew it would be the last.

  5. Z-hedge has a Kennedy assination article up. My response to all these is:

The facts are undeniable: There was a conspiracy to kill Kennedy and it was successful. Had it been unsuccessful, we would know who the conspirators were.

    1. Always interesting. Thanks. Roger Stone has a good book on this in which he fingers LBJ. I believe he had help and that the deep state was involved. We are not yet free of the cabal that went after JFK.

  6. A Liberian warlord, a top commander in Charles Taylor’s rebel army, had been living in London, Ontario for the past 20 years. Really makes you think.

  7. Blackie’s CBC announced yesterday that it was ramping up its efforts to increase diversity at its network. Apparently there are still a couple of white people working there.

    1. The Southern culture which is largely NASCAR’s audience already has an opinion of Bubba. His take down of the confederate flag will drive away that audience. Keep this up and The South Will Rise Again.

  8. In case your wondering, Great Leader Kim Sung Trudeau is in private meetings all day with Gerald Butts, as he continues to avoid questions about China.

    1. Avoid?? We are all going to have a collective crap when we find that Turdeau has turned Harper’s balanced budget into a $500 billion annual deficit, ten times the record. Shutting down the economy was beyond stupid.

    2. “Private meetings.” Justin’s a Québécois. He’ll be spending the day drunk and high out of his cerebellum, toasting the FLQ.

    3. JOhn, I think That should read:

Gerald Butts, the High Tribune has convened a discussion panel, summoning the PM and his cabal of nazi sycophants.

The only thing JT need be concerned about is the placement of his earpiece…and to appear AWAKE.

    1. After reading that, I’m glad I never got a faculty position. Who in their right mind would want to put up with that? Oh, I forgot: tenure and a job which one can’t be easily fired from…..

    2. Great piece by Dr. Peterson, although I’m surprised the new “Woke” National Post printed it.

      1. The post has gone 100% of the wall WOKE.

They too have Politikal Commissars in Place.
        aka moderators

  9. Great news that Jay Hill is now leading the Wexit movement. I will not be voting for the new CPC leader as that party is now not even pretending to be a national force. MacKay has promised Quebec a veto over any pipeline crossing that province. Over $500 billion of equalization has gone into Quebec and this is the attitude.

The CPC, even under Harper, have maintained the West as 2nd rate citizens. As an original Reformer, one who voted against moving east, I will vote Wexit.

    1. I am 1000% with you on that CT.
I too am an original Reformer – in Eastern Ontario no less at the time.
There is NO CONSERVATIVE party in this country nor has there been since the early ’60’s.
Anyone posing as such is just a lighter shade of RED.

      WEXIT

  10. FOX news is reporting, as its lead web page story, that a Wisconsin Democrat state senator was mugged by radicals in Madison, after talking video of rioting outside the state capitol building. This article also mentions that the radical rioters tore down the statue of Col. Hans Christian Heg, an ardent abolitionist who was killed in the Civil War.

I am descended of Southerners who fought in that war, but here is the Wiki entry on Col. Heg. Reading it one can see he was a brave, wonderful man:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hans_Christian_Heg

The above Wiki entry mentions the statue, and mentions that it has been torn down.

Please go to the FOX news story for details on the riot.

  11. Talk of a new American 10% tariff on Canadian aluminum. This is because almost all Canadian produced aluminum is exported to the USA while almost all aluminum used in Canada is imported from China? How stupid is Turdboy if he thinks this can continue? The Chinese are using Canada to bypass US duties and we think it is a good idea. Steel will be next.

  12. Dr Fauci welcome to the team club house of Hans Blix:

We had Hans Blix of the EU/UN scientific consortium inspecting Iraq for Weapons of mass destruction…Found nothing (but Booze & hookers) but refused to admit he was incompetent….Negotiated to get the EU Iraq oil contracts & Iraq trade…Triggered the Iraq WAR when he would not say he had found nothing and just wanted more time to look for nothing….Typical fool…wealthy fool

Now we have Dr Fauci, a scary Hans Blix, who has no Scientific FACTS, but just knows that 2 & 3 wave will come in the Fall… It was the error predictions of the 1st wave made by Fauci that lead to the shut down of the Economy (Was NOT a Pandemic, much more like a bad flu, or a common cold for many)).. Dr Fauci fronts for the Medical vaccine development agencies…. Dr Fauci, like Hans Blix, is grossly incompetent with a financial self interest in the Billions spent on Testing & the vaccine…..Nothing suggests everyone wants/needs a vaccine injection…Typical Fool…..wealthy fool

    JMHO

    1. He is BANG on…Alec.!

One just needs to be awake and not even particularly sentient to see that.
      I love watching his podcasts…

  13. Anybody notice that Tonic water is not available? I spoke to a small town grocery store manager this week and he said it isn’t available.

Yesterday I spoke with the driver of the Coke truck. He said they haven’t had it for sometime. Said they have 15 products that they can’t supply. The trap shack has a well stocked bar. When the boys stop by they might want a G&T.

Ya gotta have tonic for the classic summer drink. Hell the old Queen Mom drank gin everyday into her 100’s.

    1. We’ve also been noticing a real drop in low cal soda variety and availability. Must be issues in the chemistry supply chains.

Maybe tonic is a symbol of systemic racism.

    2. Might that have something to do with the fact that it contains some hydroxychloroquine..?? Just wondering.

    3. Abt
I checked the pop isle at the Superstore when this pandemic began. There was none. I haven’t checked recently.

Since Canada Dry Tonic water contains: Carbonated Water, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate (Preservative), Quinine, Natural Flavors. Why not try making your own?

If I may, here’s a suggestion: Invest in a ‘SodaStream’ machine and ‘zap’ some plain old water. Then either add lime juice, lemon juice or grapefruit juice.

      From the web:
“The juice or grapefruit itself contains valuable and natural quinine, which is advantageous for the treatment of malaria. Quinine is an alkaloid with a long history of treating malaria, as well as lupus, arthritis and nocturnal leg cramps.” Sep 17, 2018

I invested in a SodaStream machine about 3 years ago. Unfortunately the electric ones aren’t available any longer but the regular pump ones work just as well. I purchase the CO2 refills at Canadian Tire. They credit your used canister. Best to keep at least 2 of them on hand.

It’s so nice to have a plain glass of cold fizzy water. Club Soda is a waste of money.

      1. A coupla months back there was a Covid cure circulating. Tonic Water, Vitamin C and Zinc. Tonic mighta made a run like toilet paper….ha

You can purchase designer tonic at a designer price and bad taste like all these artisnal products. I like gin that tastes like gin. Beefeater’s – a bar gin – you can taste the juniper. The market is full of weasel piss botanicals called gin. They are not. So there!

  14. My wife’s school district will soon (tonight) remove all police from their schools.

    https://www.kron4.com/news/bay-area/police-free-schools-oakland-unified-to-vote-on-eliminating-its-own-police-department/

No, her school is in a “good” Oakland neighborhood, and does not have a dedicated police officer. However, the removal of police from the school district will be an open invitation to pedophiles, creeps, and ne’r do-wells to turn up in the corridors and playground of her school.

Yes. She will be less safe. How is that “justice” of any sort?

    1. Kenji

Agreed. The schools will be less safe.

Maybe some firearms training would help? Might not be the best solution but a .357 snub nose in your purse can’t hurt.

Hell I know guys from out in the buck brush who pack when they go to the city for a docs appointment….in Calgary. It’s completely illegal in Canada but they figure it’s better to be tried by 12 then to be carried by 6.

  15. Media reports that migrants continue to flock over the border into Canada. Hopefully there are enough Mounties to carry the suitcases. Meanwhile Breitbart reports that chess is now considered racist, because the white piece always goes first.

  16. Twitter is being vacated by conservative-minded people. Parler is the message space of choice. (I’ve only read Twitter, not posted there.)

We will see how this shakes out. Dorsey needs his comeuppance.

  17. And now your socialists are such classy people story for today. Toronto Sun reports that an NDP member of parliament called Doug Ford a piece of shit during question period this morning.

  18. Oh my goodness. What will the Dear Leader and Saint Greta have to say about this? Justin: nothing. Saint Greta: maybe she will sail up to the Arctic to protest (we can only hope):

“Norway is planning a major expansion of oil exploration in the Arctic, despite commitments to tackling global warming and opposition from environmental groups.”

    https://www.theglobeandmail.com/business/international-business/european-business/article-norway-plans-major-expansion-of-arctic-oil-exploration-despite/#comments

  19. Breaking news from Blackie’s CBC. A letter signed by a wide cross section of the Laurentian elites have been sent to Great Leader asking for Meng to be released. Signatures are from politicians of all major parties, the media, and other China junkies. I’m sure this is not part of the plan by the Liberal Party to prepare Canadians for the release.

    1. I don’t know about the rest of the readership here on Small Dead Animals, but if the 19 signatories of that letter were to accompany Meng back to China in exchange for the Two Michaels and the Chinese agreed to keep them permanently detained, I could live with that.

    1. Wasn’t there supposed to be a ban on travel from China? (Yeah, right.)

I returned from the last trip to my house in B. C. earlier today and had to pass through Hongcouver as I was flying with Air Canada, that airline whose motto should be: “We believe in comfort and joy. Your lack of comfort gives us great joy.”

Just when the last leg of the flight started and we had become airborne, I noticed a China Southern Airlines plane on the tarmac. Now I wonder why it might have been there…..

    1. I once saw a picture of Leontyne Price singing the role of Cho-cho San in Puccini’s Madame Butterfly and she wasn’t made up to appear Japanese.

Then there were singers like Placido Domingo who played the title role in Verdi’s Otello. The character’s a Moor and Domingo was wearing, well, you know.

There were no shrieks about cultural appropriation or racial discrimination. The opera companies wanted someone who could play those parts and allowances were made.

      1. It’s because Pinkerton is such a bastard that everyone with slant eye makeup gets a pass.
