I have a brother-in-law who thought he was “all that” in hoops. Now I’m no star athlete and have never in my life played organized hoops, but I took such great pleasure in kicking his *** about 20 years back. He’s been steamed about it ever since. Big lib too so it felt real good when it happened.

Agreed. I was a RELIGIOUS viewer of Carson. Then, for a brief period of time … Letterman … when his show was cutting edge funny in the early 80’s … then … it turned repetitive and unfunny … then it turned dark and politically vile. I had switched it all off long before those final stages of depravity.
