As I said in the comments earlier in referring to the politician and activists who are working for eastern oil monopolists in their agenda to shut down the west-eat oil pipeline, on the international front the large monopolists have discovered that the best way to control the activists who threaten their oil interests is to buy them and use them to damage competitors interests – this is why the oil sands are under attack internationally – the cheap abundant oil from this source threatens the controlled supply/price fixing of the oil cartel motorists.
    In that respect it makes perfect sense that oil monopolies like Irving or Rockefeller standard oil or Al Gore’s Occidental would fund radicals who are focused on shutting down their competition so they can continue raping the oil markets with collusive supply control and price fixing.

    At the end of a long bitter email debate about “global warming” with an old hard lefty friend he “won” the debate by citing the factoid that GE was on board.
    Michael Moore thinks he hates capitalism. Not so. He hates crony capitalism. He himself is a good and highly successful capitalist.
    To my lasting shame I was into my 60s before suddenly getting that most large corporations are anti-capitalists.

    Certain java apps and such are not supported by Apple products on websites.
    I have the same difficulty with Itouch & Ipad – can usually find the video on a dedicated uTube channel, which will then work.

  8. Krause has uncovered a fraud in Joel Solomon’s company.As she said,she’s traced charitable funds being used to pay the salaries of employees of Solomon’s investment company.
    The RCMP should get on this a.s.a.p.,before it’s covered up. Right AFTER they make the world safe by stealing guns from legal owners in High River.
    It’s a shame that Canadian environmentalists are being so blatantly used by these guys,and they’re too stupid or conceited to admit it.
    In my lifetime,I’ve seen the “fifth columnists” elected to too many political offices in this Country.

    much of this recent BS as to environmentalism is the product of lefty controlled government, big business is just along for the moneyed ride, and greasing the wheels along the way. Government (all of them) like control and tax dollars, once the LIVs (and I mean all voters) realize this, something can be done about it, until then, enjoy the ride.
    MND…NO, MMM (Michael Much Moore) hates capitalism, but loves crony capitalism. He wants to participate at the exclusion of all others, and that “IS” crony capitalism

  13. America is funding Canadians against Canadian national interests, to support their own national interests.. No Kidding!
    Why wouldn’t our environmental organisations take the money and run to further their own short term goals.. Protect the forest means protect American interests.. Protect the Ocean means protect American fisheries.. ect. ect.
    I had two foreign environmentalists at my door.. They looked like teen aged Jesus freaks with a British accents.. Blonde to boot.. Essentially food in my lower middle class Toronto neighborhood :).. To say they were not from my neighborhood would be a understatement.. No way..
    Protect OUR (?) neighborhood from a bitumen pipeline thats hundreds of miles away.. The Quebec line..
    Sad part was about 2 or 3% of my neighbors took the bait and banged a election type sign on their front lawns.. Stop the pipe line!!!
    Slick foreign national, foreign funded, political operatives looking out for their personal politics and foreign business interests at the same time..
    Not good at all..

    Max, exactly, there is national scale criminal conspiracy taking place on the west coast and the authorities seem to be totally ignoring it.

  15. Activist cash goes a hundred fold further when the resources they seek to sterilize are on public land. They don’t need to buy-up the land, just the politicians. Mission accomplished in the US, so Canada is ripe for the pickings.
    Krause is doing good work but she is wrong about the early nineties. The Clayoquot Sound protests were funded by a Seattle foundation.
    As Milton Friedman said, the biggest threat to Capitalism is from businessmen (rent seekers) and academics (Marxists).
    Green theocracy is just the facade of the feudalism we are creeping into.

  18. FYI – For Ipad & Itouch I use a free utube browser app called “Jasmine” that works great!
    I like it much better than the preinstalled app. You can get it at the iTunes store.

    Not to the degree they are now. Not by a long chalk. I should know because I was there. I know, I should be drawn and quartered for my sins, but I was brain-dead then and totally smitten with a certain lady… Anyway, the only folks who had access to cash were Berman and her crew. The vast majority were funding themselves while the “leadership” got rich. Tzeporah Berman is a multi-millionaire now. Logging rights simply went from Mac-Blo and Crown Zellerbach to the Indian bands up there who continue to log. Not that there is anything wrong with logging. It is a perfect example of what Ms Krause is exposing.

    My next question: given that Vivian has done such a good job of forensic accounting on the “Foundations?/charity” front, why is the current government of Canada using her and the information that she has brought to the table to shut down “charities” that are in contravention of the tax laws? Among other things. Is CSIS engaged, CRA, or any other government agency say like DIAND?
    Vivian stopped posting online in June 2012, but there is a wealth of knowledge of “joining the dots” that we don’t see being counter acted upon. Crickets. Are we waiting for a majority or something?

  25. She has done a great job on the “environmental” campaigns against BC and Canadian industries and deserves far more exposure in our media — yeah, don’t hold your breath.
    Having had the opportunity to travel and work elsewhere, I suspect that Vivian Krause has actually documented the local operation of a larger phenomenon, that being the way that various interests use “green” movements to hamstring their competition. It can be direct competition, as when an oil and gas company works to frustrate the import of oil and gas into their area by other oil and gas companies, or indirect competition like a natural gas utility working to stop coal mining.
    One Krause expose I would like more exposure for is her detailing of how the Alaska salmon industry funded the campaign against BC salmon farms. The average person in the Vancouver area has no freaking clue about this. And like PO’ed In AB asked, when is our federal government going to do something about these foreign interests submarining our economy and flouting our tax laws?

Considering Vivian’s expose of Forest Ethics’ activities and mission in this video against Northern Gateway and ultimately the oil sands, why were Hamilton police so “gentle” with Forest Ethics supported activist’s B&E at the Enbridge pumping station in the Hamilton region lately (http://www.sunnewsnetwork.ca/video/search/line%209/source/the-source/illegal-line-9-protest/2510347846001)?
    Why were police so antagonistic to SUNTV News reporters at the scene and why did it take an email to the Hamilton regional Police by Gary McHale (http://voiceofcanada.wordpress.com/2013/06/26/gary-mchalecanace-shuts-down-enbridge-pipeline-occupation-wone-letter-to-hamilton-police/)to finally put an end to the eco terror activity by this US funded group?
    Why are we treating these people to such kid glove treatment? The governments of Ontario or the federal government can’t generate, or express an effective response to these actions? Are the PMO “short pants” communication experts so overwhelmed for a response, given that Vivian, on her own has provided plenty of ammunition for them to use?
    As a taxpayer in this country, I’ve got a lot of questions on exactly what, our federal and provincial governments are doing on these issues. My current view is that the provincial governments are off the reservation and have sold out to US interests…Christy Clarks’ BC government appears to have, as an example, through carbon taxes, anti gateway position.

  27. Agreed that it has accelerated in the last 20 years but the Bullitt Foundation put one million into the Clayquot. Langer came from money too but that was Hog Town. I wandered through the pig pen of a peace camp and took pictures of all the California plates. I probably have you on film.
    They are still at it, trying to stop Issac (the FNs) from logging their measly 7% of what the area used to cut and could sustain.

    The Clayquot agenda clearly was to break up the BC logging industy for the benefit of American interests. The proof is on the ground today. Look who’s buying up the private forests M+B once owned and the nasty tactics their using to get the lands. The cry was to stop clearcut logging but the goal posts kept moving.
    On Cortes nearly 1/2 of M+B’s private forest lands are now in the hands of Hollyhock interests. Solomon thru The TIDES FOUNDATION and mirage of dubious charities poured money into “The Linnea Farm Society” “The Friends of Cortes” “The Cortes Ecoforest Society” creating a lobby to stop logging on the island and force M+B out. M+B changed their logging practices leaving 80% of the forest standing. That wasn’t good enough In reality Solomon was BUYING people for his own interests. The children at linnea elementary school were taught to make protest signs. Solomons droids succeeded in getting private forest lands down zoned from 10ac lots size to no subdivisions permited.
    When Solomon and Newall bought up 600ac instead of practicing Eco-Forestry they got their drones active again to rezone the Forest lands into a permanent deforestatrion project called Siskin Lane. Not a single eco-forestry job created.
    The Eco-Frauds need to be thrown in jail and booted out of the country.
