In Canada it has been a total wal to wall ORGASMIC Jackson week at CTV.
I rarely watch CBC, but today Martha Stewart was a breath of fresh air.
My back-of-the-envelope calculation says that about a quarter million people die each day on this earth, give or take. Those people who insist I grieve over Michael Jackson will have to convince me that he is more deserving than any of those people. So far, I don’t see it.

I don’t like this hype fest anymore than you guys do but one thing can be said for Michael Jackson; that there has been few individuals who have donated as much as he has to charity. His donations over his career have topped over 100 million dollars…and due to many of his songs being dedicated to charity, they will continue to generate money. Many of the charities he supported were rather silly (random childrens camps) but he also helped set up burn units in hospitals, etc. etc…see a very complete list here:
